  • Can we go back to high school?

Here we go again with another high school teacher headed for the slammer for polishing some young stud’s hammer. From Daily Caller:

A 39-year-old female high school teacher in Connecticut busted for providing a 17-year-old male student with oral sex and sending suggestive texts to a 15-year-old student has been sentenced to 3 years in prison.

The teacher, Allison Marchese, taught English at Daniel Hand High School in the genteel coastal suburb of Madison, Connecticut when she was arrested back in 2015.

Marchese, who was 37 at the time, provided oral sex to the 17-year-old male student, according to court records obtained contemporaneously by New Haven ABC affiliate WTNH.

Get that word provided. Like it was a home delivery service except the report goes on to reveal that this cougar of an English teacher was doing the dirty in the classroom during the school day. Don’t know about you but Ol’ Poe thinks that beats all hell outta study hall, even a mixed-gender gym class, for cryin’ out loud.

Maybe we need to establish a veterans’ classroom monitoring service where we can place veteran volunteers on site willing to be provided oral sex by horny cougar teachers during the school day. Or any other time that happens to be convenient for the cougars. I mean us old vets are flaccid, I mean flexible, flexible–know what I mean? But we swear to be rigidly determined to stand up to our duty to protect our callow youth.

At first I thought Jonn might not post this ‘cause if all of us are in those classrooms being provided oral sex by horny cougar schoolteachers it might cause a major drop-off in readership and comments here at TAH; but then I said, “Nah,” realizing that everybody would be on here constantly bragging about how their cougar schoolmarm was the hottest hot lips ever, so no problem.

Think maybe Poe’s on to something here? Volunteers? Anybody?

  • OMB- “Dramatic” Cuts to Foreign Aid

The Trump administration will propose cuts to foreign aid, according to Office of Management and Budget (OMB) director Mick Mulvaney. The money saved will be spent here.

“By the 16th of March, we’ll be able to roll out the full spending budget,” Mulvaney told Fox News.

“We are going to propose to reduce foreign aid and we are going to propose to spend that money here,” he added, explaining that the reductions will be “fairly dramatic.”

“The overriding message is fairly straightforward, which is, less money spent on folks overseas — more money spent on folks back home,” he said.

Earlier this week, the White House proposed cutting the budgets of the State Department and the U.S. Agency for International Development by 37 percent in an effort to significantly increase defense expenditures.

The usual suspects are, of course, vehemently opposed. Can’t say I’m too impressed at the outrage, considering the sources. US Agency for International Development? Shut it down.

    JMHO, YMMV.

  • North Korea’s Measured, Thoughtful Statement.

Riiiight. Today, NDtBF warned the US will “pay dearly” if it puts Pyongyang on a terror list over the killing of its leader’s half-brother. Make that, “puts BACK” on the terror watch list. I’m a bit vague on how they were removed from it in the first place; maybe the prior administration can answer up on that.

This, of course is a result of the bizarre murder of Kim Jong-Nam, who was poisoned in a Malaysian airport last month with the nerve agent VX, opening accusations of chemical warfare . This caused an international investigation of North Korea, and bad blood between Malaysia and the DPRK.

Japanese and South Korean media report the US is considering returning North Korea to the terror list, along with Syria and Iran.

In typical hyperbolic statement, the regime’s foreign ministry stated “The US will keenly realize how dearly it has to pay for its groundless accusations against the dignified” North. The message goes on to state the North opposes “all forms of terrorism” and accuses the US of attempting to tarnish its reputation.

    Mmmm-Kay.

South Korea claims a standing order from NBtBF to have his half-brother killed as a possible rival. The only North Korean arrested by Malaysia was released due to a lack of evidence, and deported back to North Korea.

  • Obama Administration wiretapped Trump Tower

Breitbart reported yesterday that the Obama Administration wiretapped the Trump Presidential campaign and even after no evidence of impropriety was discovered maintained those wiretaps throughout the campaign period.

In summary: the Obama administration sought, and eventually obtained, authorization to eavesdrop on the Trump campaign; continued monitoring the Trump team even when no evidence of wrongdoing was found; then relaxed the NSA rules to allow evidence to be shared widely within the government, virtually ensuring that the information, including the conversations of private citizens, would be leaked to the media.

    Needless to say, the president is pretty upset according to Fox News;

President Trump made a startling claim Saturday that former President Barack Obama had Trump Tower phones tapped in the weeks before the November 2016 election.

In early Saturday morning tweets that began at 6:35 a.m., the president said the alleged wiretapping was “McCarthyism” and “Nixon/Watergate.”

“Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my ‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism,” Trump wrote.

    […]

“How low has President Obama gone to tap (sic) my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!” Trump tweeted.

  • US Navy Has A Pregnancy Problem

US Navy Has A Pregnancy Problem

It seems the Obama administration has been going out of its way to understate the ramifications of pushing more and more women into deployments.

A record 16 out of 100 Navy women are reassigned from ships to shore duty due to pregnancy, according to data obtained under the Freedom of Information Act by The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group.

I have been saying for years that “Fan Rooms” aboard ship are responsible for way too much sexual activity while underway.  Having personally flushed a gallon or two of salt water down the shitter at sea…I knew what was cumming long ago.  Back in 1991 Fan Rooms were a problem.  Back then people seemed concerned when 10% of the WAVEs aboard one ship returned from deployment pregnant.

For those of you that have never had the honor of riding a Wave, let me just say I did my best to make up for your absence.  Life at sea can be monotonous but it hardly fosters monogamy.  Sitting in the Old Goats Locker aboard the USS Shreveport a wise old Senior Chief told the following tale about Sailors who had to face disaster:

A ship with 30 sailors and one woman strands on a desert island. After one month the woman says: “I can not proceed in this way.” And she suicides herself. After another month, the sailors say: “We can not proceed in this way.” And they bury the woman. The next month, the sailors say: “We can not proceed in this way.” And they dig up the woman.

Hey, I just heard the story I didn’t come up with it…those poor bastards.

The evacuation of pregnant women is costly for the Navy. Jude Eden, a nationally known author about women in the military who served in 2004 as a Marine deployed to Iraq said a single transfer can cost the Navy up to $30,000 for each woman trained for a specific task, then evacuated from an active duty ship and sent to land. That figure translates into $115 million in expenses for 2016 alone.

Seems to me that doing away with Fan Rooms would save the Navy a boat load of money.  But what do I know?  There is probably nothing wrong with setting condition Zebra aboard ship when you need to make a hole in the ladder well.  I am sure having 30-50 pregnant women milling about has no adverse impact on operational proficiency.

  • Swedes institute draft for males and females

    Fox News reports that Sweden has instituted a draft that will require service from both men and women similar to that of their neighbor, Norway;

About 20,000 people now work for the Swedish armed forces, 84 percent of them men and 16 percent women, according to the force’s website. But the armed forces lack 1,000 active troops as well as 7,000 reservists, according to Sweden’s coalition government of Social Democrats and Greens.

Under the plan approved Thursday, at least 4,000 18-year-olds could be called up each year. Enrollment should be made possible from July 1, and basic military training with compulsory service from Jan. 1. Swedes will still be able to volunteer for military service.

Sweden expects eventually that 13,000 young people will be called upon and 4,000 will be enrolled.

The Swedes had ended compulsory service in 2010 after 109 years, but their concerns about security in the region has revitalized the program. They’ll still be able to volunteer for the military, but volunteers aren’t showing up lately.

  • The world according to Ramos

    The world according to Ramos

Apparently Jorge Ramos thinks that Mexico won the war or has annexed the entire continental United States while we were taking a siesta.

Univision senior anchor Jorge Ramos declared on Friday that the United States belongs to Latino migrants, emphatically stating to a Spanish-speaking audience that “it is our country, not theirs.”

“I am an immigrant, just like many of you,” Ramos said in Spanish, as translated by the Media Research Center. “I am a proud Latino immigrant here in the United States. My name is Jorge Ramos, and I work at Univision and at the Fusion network.”

“And you know exactly what is going on here in the United States. There are many people who do not want us to be here, and who want to create a wall in order to separate us,” he said.

“But you know what? This is also our country. Let me repeat this: Our country, not theirs. It is our country. And we are not going to leave. We are nearly 60 million Latinos in the United States,” he continued. “And thanks to us, the United States eats, grows and, as we’ve seen today, sings and dances.”

“So when they attack us, we already know what we are going to do. We are not going to sit down. We will not shut up. And we will not leave. That is what we are going to do,” he added.

He sounds more like an activist than a journalist. Maybe he can open up his $6,000,000 digs to some of his fellow Mexican countrymen and give them three hots and a cot.

“The taboo issue of an open border should be tackled. Not now. Politically it is impossible even to discuss that. But I don’t see why we can’t have in North America the same immigration that they have within the European Union,” Ramos said toTime magazine in 2014.

The U.S. should not enforce its immigration laws even after illegal aliens kill Americans, he said during a CNN interview in August 2015, because that would be “completely unfair” to the illegal population. In June of 2016, Ramos told a crowd of illegal aliens gathered in Houston, Texas, “I think you the DREAMers are the Rosa Parks of this time.”

Jorge believes in open borders, condones lawlessness and thinks it is unfair that we enforce our immigration laws even if illegal aliens rape, murder and pillage us. Silly us. He must not watch the news and see how open borders has worked out in Europe.

On being both Mexican and American, Ramos stated: “I finally recognized that I cannot be defined by one country. I am from both countries. It took me many years to make peace with that thought, and that I was never going back to Mexico.” Jorge Ramos

“I’ve never ceased to be Mexican. I have two passports, and I vote in elections in both countries. I’m deeply proud of this privileged duality. The best thing about America is its embrace of diversity. The worst thing about America, of course, is the racist and xenophobic attitudes that tend to emerge now and then.” Jorge Ramos

Ramos came to the United States in his 20’s on a student visa yet waited until 2008 to become an American citizen, perhaps he spent some time here illegally. He speaks out of both sides of his flap and is a self-absorbed pompous blowhard that cant make up his mind if he is Mexican or American. President Trump needs to expedite his plans to stop this blatant Mexican encroachment.

“In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language … and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.”

  • Putting the generals on a longer leash?

Over at Daily Beast, Kim Dozier is reporting that the Trump Administration is leaning towards giving greater mission authority all the way down the chain of command, starting with allowing the SECDEF, General Mattis, and from him, on down to the field generals. Supposedly the thinking is that this will allow operational commanders to respond more quickly to suddenly developing or rapidly changing situations than was allowed them by the Obama White House. Dozier reports that the current leaders think this would be an important component of their plan to defeat ISIS and Al Qaeda.

Those who read here know the truth of that. Too many presidents have hamstrung their field commanders by injecting too much geopolitics, national politics and just their own damned personalities into decision making that would have been best done much further down the chain of command. The author points out that all presidents have a fear of field commanders escalating small conflicts into something much more widespread. Ol’ Poe’s thinking is that had some presidents let the field commanders do some escalating we might have a different world today, such as no North Korea, a free, democratic South Vietnam and a Europe that never experienced Soviet occupation.
