    A Weekend With Bernath

    The picture for this weekend has been supplied by Hack Stone who is currently mourning his crack-head girlfriend who was rudely murdered in Philly a few weeks back. Hack barely escaped the same fate, but lucky for him, he’s a Ruthless SOB – Ruth was his girlfriend’s name.

    Yes, Frank Visconi has been back on the email pony trying to convince people of that which he couldn’t convince the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Who am I to argue with a panel of Federal judges, after all?

    Meanwhile the child dressed in the skin of an alcoholic septuagenarian, Dallas Wittgenfeld, has been sending links to his latest broke dick website that Bernath conned him into putting his name on, you know, because Bernath has been taking such a beating in the courts this year. Wittgenfeld tried to make a go of it on Facebook, but he lost three of his childish attempts in one week, getting whacked by the Facebook crew. His Google+ page has survived but only because, you know, who reads Google+?

    So, I’ve been getting emails from our friends because Wittgenfeld has been spamming them with links to his latest juvenile attempts at making himself look foolish. His new email address is info@widowmarypschantag.us , in the event that you want to block it in your own inbox. Or in case the spambots want to start their own campaign.

    Speaking of Daniel Alan Bernath, his ability to practice law is hanging by a thread – he has another telephonic hearing scheduled for next month that he will skip out on in an attempt to delay the inevitable – you know that thing we used to do in college until we discovered that it doesn’t work in the real world.

    Another Friday will come and go without any death threats from Paul Wickre (when you say it out loud, say “wicker”, it really angers his lawyer, John Kudel – which you should pronounce “Cuddles”) because it really pisses Wickre off when his words are presented in court – we’re going to get an opportunity to do that again next month.

    But enjoy your open thread.

    Feet and knees

    I thought that was a pretty cool picture for the weekend, but that jumper needs to keep his feet and knees together. I snagged it from a pretty cool collection of military photos. Every picture reminds me of how great military service was, and how someone who hasn’t served missed out on a lot of stuff that they don’t even understand.

    AT&T Natalia

    There was some discussion a few weeks ago about the AT&T commercial and the woman who plays the store manager. Well this is the woman who plays that same role in the Spanish-language commercials, and I think she’s much cuter. Just saying.

    If you’re in no hurry for the weekend to finish, here’s a little pick me up for Monday morning. This is scheduled for 0930 PST Monday;

    Bernath bar hearing

    Mr Bernath will be attending by telephone, you know, because he’s not in Vietnam where, for whatever reason, there is less gravity.

    Despite rumors to the contrary, rest assured that TSO and I are not in jail, or in a holding cell, or anything else. We walked out of the courtroom late yesterday after hours of watching Paul Kevin Wickre’s drama queen histrionics on the stand. The courtroom antics didn’t end exactly the way we wanted, but the Wickres got nothing that they really wanted. Our lawyer will explain it to you next week. But here’s my summary;

    Things that have changed since the judge’s ruling; nothing.

    Things that haven’t changed; The blog still exists as it did before. None of the posts have come down. TSO and I still have our guns. Phil Monkress still can’t call himself a Navy SEAL, Paul Wickre still can’t call himself a Vietnam veteran. I will tell you, however, that even though nothing was presented in court which indicated that we misbehaved, we took a beating over your comments. So think about that while you comment from now on.

    The decision yesterday will not stand, but I’ll leave that for the lawyers to explain to y’all.

    The citation you’re looking for is Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, 47 U.S.C. § 230;

    No provider or user of an interactive computer service shall be treated as the publisher or speaker of any information provided by another information content provider.

    It was cited to the judge and she chose to ignore the rule.

    TAH Assault vehicle

    No one asked for it, but, I figured that you’d need one. The picture is the new TAH Blogging Assault Vehicle. I think it needs bigger tires, though. I’ll have to work on that along with some of the other mods that have to get done before I pick it up.

    Well, I just did a brutal interview with The Hill, so I’m wiped out and I’m going to take the rest of the day off. So here’s your open thread hosted by Ex-PH2’s picture of a frozen bubbles, you know because it’s so cold in much of the country this weekend.
