  • Afghans abscond with BMWs

    Remember those scores of Afghans who deserted from Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas? Well according to Fox News most of them were able to abscond because of the help they got from BMWs. In this case, the initials aren’t short for Bavarian Motor Works but rather “Big Mexican Women”;

    A loose network of Mexican-American women, some of whom may be illegal immigrants, have been responsible for helping numerous Afghan military deserters go AWOL from an Air Force Base in Texas, FoxNews.com has learned.

    Many of the Afghans, with the women’s assistance, have made their way to Canada; the whereabouts of others remain unknown. Some of the men have been schooled by the women in how to move around the U.S. without any documentation.

    Apparently those students were like a bunch of privates on Victory Drive on their first weekend pass;

    The nightclubs include two military hangouts — Tiffany’s Cocktails and Mirage, located outside Lackland’s main gate — and Graham Central Station, a massive warehouse-like building in downtown San Antonio that houses “six nightclubs under one roof” that host a variety of theme nights. Photos on Graham Central’s website show scantily clad women rolling around in what appears to be Jell-O.

    So you don’t hurt yourselves Googling the Graham Central Station, here’s the link to their Photos page. Just watching out for you guys.

    COB6 and I still laugh about the newbie LT who showed up at our company in Garlstedt with an ex-stripper wife and a Corvette both of which he had acquired during IOBC from Victory Drive. Both had seen better days and neither were very reliable. Come to think of it, he did look a bit like an Afghan.

    The official said most of the students were too afraid of life on the run to ever consider going AWOL — until they met the women, who assured them that many people live illegally in the U.S. and in Canada without getting caught or deported.

    Yeah, no shit, join the fricken crowd.

  • NG troops to deploy to border

    The USAToday is reporting that National Guard troops will begin arriving on the Arizona to “stem the flow of illegal immigrants”. They don’t mention which way the flow will be stemmed, though. I suspect it’d be more advantageous for this administration to keep the illegals here rather than let them return to their homes.

    And I guess a whole bunch of new assets are forthcoming from the Homeland Security Department;

    Napolitano announced that hundreds of additional Border Patrol agents and customs officers are being deployed to prowl the Arizona outback and operate inspection stations. She said Immigration and Customs Enforcement will open a new office in Ajo. And the Department of Homeland Security is sending a new team to Douglas.

    “We are also reassigning major technology assets, including mobile surveillance systems, thermal-imaging binocular units, and trucks equipped with detection scopes, as well as observation and utility aircraft,” Napolitano said in a guest column in Monday’s Arizona Republic.

    A government official, who declined to be named because he was not authorized to divulge details, said the secretary is assigning more than 300 Border Patrol agents and port inspectors to the Tucson Sector. In addition, 100 ICE personnel will be added statewide.

    See, this is what I’ve been wondering; where have these federal agents been this whole time that they can be torn away from their current jobs and be sent to Arizona? Were they all just standing around the water cooler waiting for the call? Ya know the call announcing there is a problem that must be solved immediately? A problem someone just noticed a minute ago?

  • That Milwaukee woman

    By the time I saw this video, it was so old that even Drudge had linked to it, and I thought you guys wouldn’t be much interested in it and I try to bring you guys fresh new stuff. Wel, you’ve been sending it to me several times a day, so I have to guess that you’ve got some important things to say about it. So I bring you Democrat County Supervisor Peggy West of Milwaukee, a Latin woman who must think that Arizona is in Mississippi;

    The last person to send it to me, Jacobite, was hoping for some of your more exceptional comments.

  • Sorry, no sympathy from me

    Huffington Post and the SPLC have taken up the cause of Jessica Colotl, an illegal immigrant in Georgia who was discovered to be in this country contrary to our immigration laws.

    Colotl’s family came undocumented to America from Mexico when she was 11. After she was arrested in late March for driving without a license, the sheriff’s office turned her over to immigration officials and put her in an Alabama detention center. Her ordeal was only just beginning.

    Ordeal? Folks who willingly break laws don’t suffer “ordeals” – they suffer the consequences of their actions. ICE cut her a break and let her out of being deported for a year so she could finish her college studies. WTH?

    The Cobb County sheriff was having nothing of this, though. He arrested her again, but this time for lying to the arresting officers in the first incident. SPLC says;

    “We are very concerned that the sheriff’s office brought this trumped-up charge to retaliate against Jessica for speaking out about her case,” said SPLC Legal Director Mary Bauer. “Rather than abide by the decision of federal immigration officials, they’ve decided to take matters into their own hands. It’s an outrageous example of how the 287(g) program is being misused by local authorities to pursue undocumented immigrants who represent no criminal threat.”

    Yeah, um, if she hadn’t broken three laws (by my count) they’d have nothing on her, Mary. Driving without a license, lying to the police, not to mention she shouldn’t be here any-damn-way. Since she’s college age, she could have chosen to return and rectify the dilemma that her parents created for her. I’m sure they have colleges in Mexico, too. I wonder if the US taxpayers are footing her tuition bill.

    And it’s all coming at a time when I’m scrapping together $800 for my wife’s green card renewal. My heart pumps purple piss for Jessica.

  • Open Borders Porn

    Robert Rodriguez usually directs over-the-top action and horror films which usually turn out pretty good (Sin City) or sometimes extremely cheesy (Grindhouse). However his new film Machete, which appears to similar to Grindhouse in style, can be classified as nothing more than violent open borders pornography.

    Here is a brief summary from a Fox News article:

    In the trailer for the film, the title character is hired to assassinate an anti-immigration U.S. senator played by Robert De Niro. Protesters are seen waving nationalist signs as the senator speaks to a charged-up rally: “We are at war,” he booms. “Every time an illegal dances across our border, it is an act of aggression against this sovereign state — an overt act of terrorism.”

    More below the fold…

  • Nissan bomb fails

    According to the Wall Street Journal, a Nissan Pathfinder containing three propane tanks, timing devices and fireworks failed to explode in Times Square last night;

    “It appeared that [the bomb] was in the process of detonating and malfunctioned,” said police spokesman Paul Browne.

    A street vendor alerted a policeman on mounted patrol—Wayne Rhatigan, 47 years old, a 19-year-veteran of the force. In an interview, Mr. Rhatigan said he smelled gunpowder coming from the vehicle and went toward it, thinking it could explode at any second. He grabbed two other officers to help move people away from the smoking Pathfinder as he called for backup at 6:34 p.m.

    Where are the folks who always pointed at the CIA or president for these types of distractions from the administration’s current policies in the prior eight years? Of course with the number of terrorists in New York yesterday for the May Day protests of Arizona’s immigration laws, it’ll probably hard to track down the real perpetrators.

    new-york-may-day

    ADDED: Jimbo quotes Bill Roggio on claims of a Pakistani Taliban commander accepting responsibility.

    In the tin foil hat category, Gordon Duff says the Mossad planted the bomb. I think I’ve had enough of Gordon Duff. Stop by tomorrow for his military records which I’ve been sitting on for six months.

  • Standard hyperbole and hysteria from our friends at the SPLC

    SPLC should just out-source their articles to me, I would charge less, and it always follows the exact same format. It’s like a Mad Lib where they just change a few adjectives and scapegoat a different group. Then they make a proclaimation that they fail to address, and then end with some sort of South Parkian nonsense of “This is what I learned today…”

    As should shock virtually no one with two brain cells, SPLC is hyperventilating about the new Arizona law. I got the email alert this morning:

    Morris and I — and the entire SPLC staff — are outraged over Arizona’s new immigration law. We’ve spent our careers working against discriminatory policies such as blatant racial profiling. SPLC Legal Director Mary Bauer calls the law “a civil rights disaster and an insult to American values.” Please read Mary’s analysis on the dangers of this ill-advised law.

    With your help, we’ll continue to expose the racist agenda behind those who promote these kind of laws and do what we can to counter them.

    It’s pretty clear from reading the “analysis” that a) they have no idea what “analysis” means, and b) no one over there bothered to read the damn law before writing this. So, let’s look at this in-depth anal-ysis.

  • That’s kinda the point

    This heartbreaking headline from the dense people at the Associated Press;

    illegals-leaving

    “Nobody wants to pick us up,” Julio Loyola Diaz says in Spanish as he and dozens of other men wait under the shade of palo verde trees and lean against a low brick wall outside the east Phoenix home improvement store.

    Many day laborers like Diaz say they will leave Arizona because of the law….

    I guess they don’t feel welcomed here anymore. Maybe they should try coming here legally and pay taxes like Americans.
