  • More Silliness in Tucson (Yes, I spelled it right this time Rep. Prezelski)

    From the AZ Republic:

    TUCSON – University of Arizona students walking to class Monday were faced with a steel and barbed wire obstacle.

    A group of students erected a mock border fence right in the middle of campus making it difficult for people to get around.

    Organizer Francisco Baires tells KGUN-TV that was the point. To create an uncomfortable disruption.

    Basically what Baires is really saying is that expanding and strengthening physical barriers along the US-Mexico border is an “uncomfortable disruption” for the drug mules, human smugglers, and criminal aliens that cross through the desert. Alarmingly, there is quite a vocal “anti-fence” movement in Southern Arizona that fights against efforts to increase border security along the US-Mexico border, making silly arguments that a fence would harm the environment. Some even compare the border fence to the Berlin Wall (which as everyone here knows, was to keep people in, not keep people out).  However, when you truly understand these people’s core ideology, they are exposed as nothing more than anti-American, one-worlders who don’t even believe in the concept of borders at all.

  • Crazy Tucson Progressives Gloat About The Threat of Violence

    Krysten Sinema is probably one of the most left-wing legislators in the state of Arizona, if not the most left-wing. In fact, she used to be a Green Party member. However, since she sponsored a fairly mundane bill that would increase the penalties for running a  drop house, she has been under constant attack by a group of open-borders activists and a loony progressive blog based in Tucson called the Three Sonorans. Sinema opposed SB1070, opposed the ban on the anti-American ethnic studies program in Tuscon, opposed bills that would attempt to ban birthright citizenship and just about every other anti-illegal immigration bill that Arizona Republicans have sponsored. Yet, because of her support of this one commonsense bill, she is now being heckled at her press conferences by leftists and has to be escorted around the capitol by armed guards. And what do the Three Sonorans of Tucson (which is the home of the new “civility institute“) and other Arizona leftists think about that last point? They love it:

    Yet there was one state senator that requires armed escort when she walks by.

    Can you guess who?

    It is a Democrat, and she not only voted for two of the 26 anti-immigrant bills, she’s the only Democrat to have written her own, SB1225, that has Ron Gould and Scott Bundgaard as co-sponsors.

    The Democratic Diva herself, Kyrsten Sinema, who knows what is best for the Latino community over Latinos, ignoring our calls to kill her anti-immigrant bill, ignoring a lot of what we say because she knows what is best for us. Wanna approach her and ask her questions? The state capitol police will send you away.

    To enter the building she needed TWO armed guards, and went in the back way to avoid us. Now what fun is that?

    This was definitely the funnest event so far, what we call the Walk of Shame, or the Walk of Fame depending on how you’ve been voting lately.

    Emphasis is mine. These people have to be buying drugs from the same person as Jared Loughner, they are that sick and crazy.

  • Turn your illegal aliens in to your US Senator

    Jacobite sent a link to a story I only caught a bit of this morning on the news. Texas state Rep. Lois Kolkhors proposes a law that allows local enforcement to drop off their illegal immigrants at their local US congressman or Senator;

    The proposed bill only applies to illegal immigrants about to be released on bail or discharged after completing a sentence and does not detail what the U.S. senator or representative is supposed to do with them.

    The bill merely authorizes law enforcement officers to release illegal immigrants to a congressional office, and to have an employee of that office sign a document acknowledging the transfer.

    If anything, it’ll make office staffers think twice before they leave an airhead intern at the front desk. They might end up with a couple of extra staffers at the end of the day.

  • Who needs to build a wall?

    I read this the other day, but Old Trooper sends us a link from Fox News’ Adam Housley that reinforces what we’ve all been warning about years – Hezbollah on our southern border working with cartels and building them car bombs as well as infiltrating our border;

    The Obama Administration brags that it has sent more illegals back to Mexico than the previous administrations, but the problem isn’t sending illegals back, it’s keeping the new ones out in the first place. DHS has stopped building the wall and also touts it’s record of sending illegals back as proof we don’t need a wall.

    As Housely says in the video, 180,000 “other than Mexicans” have been sent back, but how many have slipped through?

  • 9th Circus: Rancher must pay invaders

    ROS sent us this link to Fox News about an Arizona rancher, Roger Barnett, who has to pay “damages”, amounting to $87,000, to 16 illegal immigrants who he detained on his own property at gun point;

    The incident occurred in March 2004 when the gun-toting Barnett detained a group of 16 unauthorized immigrants — none of them carrying weapons — on public land near the border town of Douglas, Arizona.

    He held the group captive with threats that his dog would attack them if anyone moved or tried to escape. Barnett also kicked an woman while she was on the ground.

    So, it looks like that not only are we supposed to scoot over to make room for these criminals, now we have to give them seed money to start their new life among us?

    If you feel the need, you can contribute to Roger’s defense fund here.

  • Weapon of Mass Effect discovered on US border?

    Rurik sends us a link to a Daily Mail article about a Customs and Border Protection Department officer who admitted to their reporter that some sort of “weapon of mass effect” was discovered before it could enter the US;

    Reporter: Do you ever find things that are dangerous like a chemical agent or a weaponised device?

    Mr Hallor: At the airport, seaport, at our port of entry we have not this past fiscal year, but our partner agencies have found those things.

    Reporter: So, specifically, you’re looking for the dirty bomb? You’re looking for the nuclear device?

    Mr Hallor: Correct. Weapons of mass effect.

    Reporter: You ever found one?

    Mr Hallor: Not at this location.

    Reporter: But they have found them?

    Mr Hallor: Yes.

    Reporter: You never found one in San Diego though?

    Mr Hallor: I would say at the port of San Diego we have not.

    If this is true, and I’m not saying it is (it’s just one guy’s statement), I sure would like to be told by the government. if guys blowing up their ‘nads haven’t sent us into a panic, we deserve to know about this. I have to speculate that it was being transported over our southern border since it hasn’t been made public so as not to revive calls to secure that border.

  • AZ sues Feds over immigration

    I guess Jan Brewer is tired of being demonized for her new immigration law and she’s decided to counter-sue the Federal government for their inability to enforce their own immigration laws (according to Fox News);

    The governor said the federal government hasn’t secured the state’s border with Mexico and has stuck Arizona with the costs tied to illegal immigration.

    “Because the federal government has failed to protect the citizens of Arizona, I am left with no other choice,” Brewer said.

    The announcement is the latest swipe in the ongoing legal dispute between Arizona and the U.S. Department of Justice over the state’s tough immigration law.

    Just add this to the long list of things that the second term of Jimmy Carter can’t accomplish.

    Thanks to Cortillaen for the link.

  • NPR: Latino Community Sighs With Relief

    Yeah, because they’re so persecuted every time there’s a mass murder;

    I wasn’t the only person on Saturday who rushed to her Android when news came of the Tucson shooting. I wasn’t looking however to read about what had happened. My auntie had already filled me in — “Someone tried to murder una representante. People have been killed,” she’d reported. What I wanted to know was the killer’s surname.

    My eyes scanned the mobile papers. I held my breath. Finally, I saw it: Jared Loughner. Not a Ramirez, Gonzalez or Garcia.

    I admit sadly that it was only after I saw the shooter’s gringo surname that I was able to go on and read the rest of the news about those who lost their lives on Saturday and those who, like Rep. Giffords, were severely wounded. I admit also that I felt some small relief in knowing that at least this shooting wouldn’t be used as a reason for yet another backlash against immigrants, or at least that’s what I’m hoping. In this political climate, it’s hard to tell.

    “Backlash against immigrants”, huh? I think there’s a backlash against illegal immigrants, not just plain old every day legal immigrants, bint. When an illegal immigrant kills an American, it is completely preventable by enforcing the law. That’s kind of our point.

    And what the hell is a “collective sigh of brown relief”? I mean, I know what it sounds like, but that’s probably not what you meant. We’re so glad that you find some comfort in the fact that a “gringo” named Loughner killed some other gringos instead some random criminal who found his way across the border illegally.

    Oh, by the way; I meant to say “chola bint” since you delight in using “gringo” on NPR.
