  • Columbia U votes to welcome ROTC back

    After four decades of pulling excuses out of their collective ass to keep Reserve Officer Training Corp off of their campus, student and faculty leaders voted to accept the military commissioning programs back on campus according to Associated Press;

    The University Senate voted 51 to 17 with one person abstaining Friday to “explore mutually beneficial relationships with the armed forces of the United States, including participation in the programs of the Reserve Officers Training Corps.”

    Yeah, big deal. The military has been doing fine without them all of these years. They don’t deserve tax payer dollars. One die-hard smelly hippie asshole made his distaste for the American military members known;

    At least one former Weatherman was critical of Columbia’s decision to bring ROTC back.

    “The U.S. armed forces are a blight on the planet,” Brian Flanagan told the Times. “I don’t support soldiers – I think they’re war criminals. So obviously, I’m against ROTC coming back.”

    Speaking of blights on the planet, according to Wikipedia, Brian Flanagan is a bit of a disease himself. It seems he was part of the plot to kill Non-Commissioned Officers by bombing the Fort Dix NCO in March 1970…the plot was foiled when the bombs detonated prematurely in the Greenwich Village bomb factory, killing three of the bomb technicians.

    In the documentary film The Weather Underground, Flanagan admits to participating in Weather’s bombings during the 1970s. During a memorable moment in the film, Flanagan states, “When you feel you have right on your side, you can do some horrific things”.

    With enemies like Flanagan, who needs friends? If this pimple hates, the military, I can live with that. He’ll probably choke on his ponytail in his sleep some night anyway.

  • Ya know where we really need a no fly zone?

    Laura Flanders, formerly of Air America, the liberal talk radio network fiasco, currently of GritTV and Counter Punch has decided that Sheriff Joe Arpaio is just as evil as Qaddafi because he wants to use aircraft to stop drug dealers, smugglers and general ne’er-do-wells from crossing his county.

    Qaddafi, after all, isn’t the only one using military technology against his own people. Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Arizona, has launched “Operation Desert Sky” to round up “illegal drugs and human cargo”—read, men, women, human, immigrants.

    Um, criminals?

    Isn’t it time for a no-fly zone in Arizona? The state senate failed to pass Russell Pearce’s anti-immigrant bills, but Arpaio, who just recently performed a tank raid on suspected cockfighters for A&E’s TV cameras and Steven Seagal, is clearly escalating.

    Former GRITtv guest Salvador Reza, an Arizona immigration activist, says it’s unconscionable for Obama and the Justice Department to be part of Arpaio’s coalition of the willing. But beyond that, isn’t it time for us to put a stop to Arpaio’s violence once and for all?

    Really? Violence? Flying observation aircraft is now violence?

    Thirty aircraft will be used in the operation, and, according to the Cypress Times, will be furnished and flown largely by the sheriff’s armed volunteer posse—in other words, vigilantes. They’ll be armed with M-16s and a 50-caliber machine gun.

    Yeah, been reading about the border recently Laura? The bad guys down there have guns and shoot at American cops. It’s not like Arizona LEOs are going to be strafing innocent women and children, for Pete’s sake.

    It’s no wonder that Air America went broke if this bint is an example of the talent they hired.

    Thanks to ROS for the tip.

  • Bangor twits in prison

    p1000251_t600

    See those folks above? They ain’t smilin’ now. I wrote about them when they got arrested more than two years ago for infiltrating a sub-base in Bangor, Maine Washington State. Nucsnipe sends us this link today;

    The five defendants admitted that on Nov. 2, 2009, they cut through the chain link fence surrounding Bangor and walked to Strategic Weapons Facility-Pacific, the weapons storage area. There, they cut through two more barbed wire fences and went inside, putting up banners, scattering sunflower seeds and praying until they were arrested.

    Federal prosecutors argued that the protesters had “crossed a line.” The protesters violated the rights of the people on base whose activities they disturbed and placed themselves and others at great risk, prosecutors said.

    So they got terms in the federal pound from three to fifteen months.

    The defendants, however, maintained that nuclear warheads stored at the base and on submarines there are illegal under international, national and humanitarian law. Settle prohibited them from using international law and the lethality of nuclear weapons as a defense.

    “We went to the base to uphold a higher law,” Kelly said.

    Which higher law is that? The one that doesn’t get people sent to prison? That crazy hippie law which says whatever you want it to say today?

    The judge ordered Kelly to be taken to prison immediately. Settle was going to allow the other defendants to report to prison next month, but when they told the judge they might not show up, he ordered them to be taken to prison immediately.

    Smooth move, Exlax.

  • The people talking to your kids about the war

    As I’ve written a few times, Ethan McCord, who was one of the soldiers on the scene during the now-famous “Collateral Murder” video (which was filmed four years ago). Now he’s a man on a mission to “explain” the video to your kids and school children like them with the help of the rocket surgeons at World Can’t Wait. Here’s a screen shot of WCW’s Facebook page where Ethan rejoices at his new-found occupation – teaching your kids;

    If any of you have ever tried to interview a private about what he saw in combat, you’d know that 15 privates will give you 17 stories about the same event. Not that they lie, but everyone remembers traumatic events the way they want to remember it. Of course, Ethan is a mild improvement over the guys that used to tour schools who weren’t even at the scene.

    Speaking of whom, Matthis has published a wonderfully laborious bit of literature, too tortuous to read in it’s entirety. it’s about evil – of course it has to do with him being evil during his time in the military because the Army made him evil. We all knew it wasn’t his fault, right?

    Evil was all around me. It engulfed my every action, concealed itself behind my every motivation, but perceive it I could not. It wrapped our violent fists when we hit the town for drink. It cradled the balls hung from our erections as we forced them inside the natives. It sat in our throats when out flowed the lies that cued our mothers to be proud. It whispered promises of glory to us as we slept and dreamed of conquest.

    We abide by it still, in every aspect of our lives. Even the wise among us abide by evil to proliferate their constructions of a better life; their stomachs bloated by a loaf of its own oven. I’ve said before, “life in the United States is as a tube affixed to your anus through which you inhale the bulk of your existence.” Even the best of us consume the poison of ourselves within this system. How can we not taste it?

    I like how he writes “our” and “We”, but he actually means “You”.

    So, I suppose Matthis should just move out of the United States, since we all have tubes in our anuses – what a childish analogy…almost as bad as his oral sex analogy in the previous paragraph. It looks like that VA-paid college education is wasted. He writes like a pseudo-intellectual high school freshman.

    Ya know what’s funny? Here he is talking about how evil it is to be in the military, to be an American, yet here he is attending college free-of-charge on a benefit paid for by the American tax payer. Yeah, that’s pretty fucking evil. And, oh, by the way, he’s stealing the benefit, too, because his downgraded discharge should have precluded any further college tuition benefits. So when they finally catch up with him (and they will, if I have any say whatsoever), he’ll say he’s being harassed because he spoke out against the war.

    A day is coming when every American will know the evil in himself. That day we will burn the temples and cast out the false gods. We will finally be free of ourselves.

    I’d prefer to just be free of your blather, Matthis.

  • Farrakhan and Moore attack on Libya attack

    Calypso Louie and Michael Moore are leading the anti-war fundraising crowd on the missile strikes on Libyan air defenses this weekend. Louie qants to know “Who the Hell so you think you are?

    I warn my brother do you let these wicked demons move you in a direction that will absolutely ruin your future with your people in Africa and throughout the world…Why don’t you organize a group of respected Americans and ask for a meeting with Qaddafi, you can’t order him to step down and get out, who the hell do you think you are?

    It begins at 7:15 in this video;

    Meanwhile, The Hill reports that Michael Moore breathlessly Tweets that Obama=Bush

    Moore, a frequent critic of President Bush for launching the Iraq War, unleashed a string on tweets comparing the U.S. military’s mission in Libya to Iraq and Afghanistan, using a mantra coined by Charlie Sheen:

    It’s only cause we’re defending the Libyan people from a tyrant! That’s why we bombed the Saudis last wk! Hahaha. Pentagon=comedy

    And we always follow the French’s lead! Next thing you know, we’ll have free health care & free college! Yay war!

    We’ve had a “no-fly zone” over Afghanistan for over 9 yrs. How’s that going? #WINNING !

    Khadaffy must’ve planned 9/11! #excuses

    Khadaffy must’ve had WMD! #excusesthatwork

    Khadaffy must’ve threatened to kill somebody’s daddy! #daddywantedjeb

    Moore also suggested that Obama should return the Nobel Peace Prize he won in 2009:

    May I suggest a 50-mile evacuation zone around Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize? #returnspolicy

    How much koolaid do you have to drink to defend Qaddafi? Seriously.

  • Filthy hippies

    Army Sergeant sends us this picture of some filthy hippie, and another guy holding a sign at the White House protest yesterday.

  • Crazy Tucson Progressives Gloat About The Threat of Violence

    Krysten Sinema is probably one of the most left-wing legislators in the state of Arizona, if not the most left-wing. In fact, she used to be a Green Party member. However, since she sponsored a fairly mundane bill that would increase the penalties for running a  drop house, she has been under constant attack by a group of open-borders activists and a loony progressive blog based in Tucson called the Three Sonorans. Sinema opposed SB1070, opposed the ban on the anti-American ethnic studies program in Tuscon, opposed bills that would attempt to ban birthright citizenship and just about every other anti-illegal immigration bill that Arizona Republicans have sponsored. Yet, because of her support of this one commonsense bill, she is now being heckled at her press conferences by leftists and has to be escorted around the capitol by armed guards. And what do the Three Sonorans of Tucson (which is the home of the new “civility institute“) and other Arizona leftists think about that last point? They love it:

    Yet there was one state senator that requires armed escort when she walks by.

    Can you guess who?

    It is a Democrat, and she not only voted for two of the 26 anti-immigrant bills, she’s the only Democrat to have written her own, SB1225, that has Ron Gould and Scott Bundgaard as co-sponsors.

    The Democratic Diva herself, Kyrsten Sinema, who knows what is best for the Latino community over Latinos, ignoring our calls to kill her anti-immigrant bill, ignoring a lot of what we say because she knows what is best for us. Wanna approach her and ask her questions? The state capitol police will send you away.

    To enter the building she needed TWO armed guards, and went in the back way to avoid us. Now what fun is that?

    This was definitely the funnest event so far, what we call the Walk of Shame, or the Walk of Fame depending on how you’ve been voting lately.

    Emphasis is mine. These people have to be buying drugs from the same person as Jared Loughner, they are that sick and crazy.

  • Enough is enough, already

    I guess the Wisconsin legislators have finally run out patience with the rowdy protesters. Fox News is running video of the rent-a-mob being dragged out of the Capitol by the State Police. Associated Press writes;

    Police carried dozens of protesters from a hallway leading to the Wisconsin Assembly on Thursday as Democratic representatives pounded on the locked door of the chamber, demanding to be let in to the room where a vote was scheduled on an explosive bill that would take away public workers’ collective bargaining rights.

    At least 100 protesters packed the hallway, pounding drums, while the Democratic representatives gathered in front of the doors, which were opened just before 11:30 a.m. At least 50 protesters were carried out by police, and the building was locked down briefly while officers did a security review.

    the longer this was allowed to continue, the more obnoxious the protesters became. Like a toddler pushing the limits of his parents’ patience. There’s a point at which freedom to assemble becomes noisy, pointless third grade playground antics.

    Not realizing their time is up, some of the homos at the protest are making police drag them across the ground. the police are just doing their job, making their job harder is just childish…if I haven’t made that clear before now.

    Years ago, I disrupted a Code Pink rally in front of the White House. I stood my ground when “the men” confronted me. The Park Police asked me to leave, and I complied. The officer who escorted me out of the park got a handshake and a “Thank you”. It’s not that hard.
