  • Code Pink: Long live the intifada

    From Breitbart, a video of that pro-peace group, Code Pinkists calling for yet another intifada on the streets of DC last week;

    Breitbart reminds us;

    The Palestinians initiated their first uprising, or “intifada,” against Israel from 1987 to 1993. It was marked by violence from the beginning; however, at the time, Palestinians had limited access to heavy artillery and resorted to using rocks, Molotov cocktails, and guns to target Israelis. By the time it concluded, over 170 Israelis had been killed.

    The second intifada lasted from 2000 to 2005 and noted a significant escalation in violence thanks in great part to the Oslo Accords–an agreement meant to bring “peace” but that ultimately brought Palestinians easier access to dangerous weapons. During this uprising, Palestinians used guns, bombs, and suicide vests to target Israelis, killing over 1,000.

    I think the young lady leading the chants is due for a rabies shot.

  • Code Pink at the National Gun Show

    Pat emailed and offered to pick me up some stuff at the National Gun Show in Chantilly, VA, but I’m good. So I asked him if he could get some pictures of the Code Pink hags if he could and he sent us these;

    Code Pink Gun show1

    Code Pink Gun show2

    It looks like about 20 people made it out between VFP, MoveOn and Code Pink. Pat says that they’re across the street from the Expo and they have police protection, like they need it.

    But, according to Pat, the protesters haven’t hindered participation. There was no available parking near the Expo Center. I’m sure there are going to be a bunch of smiling vendors at the end of the weekend.

    Pat sends a link to a picture of the crowd at the gates. The protesters seem outnumbered.

  • Code Pink, et al. to protest at the National Gun Show

    I don’t think they’ll be all that welcomed, actually.

    Code Pink Gun Show

    I guess the anti-war thing isn’t paying off for Code Pink and Vets For Sitting On Our Hands so they’re joining up with MoveOn on a totally unrelated subject, because it’s all about the money since they lost their Code Pink House.

    Oh, if you can’t see Madea’s email address and you need a free ride out to Chantilly, it’s medea@codepink.org. I’m only trying to help.

  • Code Pink disrupts NRA statement

    We’ve been listening all week from the Left that the NRA is cowardly because they’ve been silent since the shootings last Friday. So the NRA makes a statement today. And a Code Pink loser disrupts the statement by holding up a sign in front of Wayne LaPierre which states that “NRA Kills”. here’s a screen shot of the little douche getting hauled off;

    Code Pink NRA

    Suppose the NRA disrupted Joe Bite-Me’s press conference yesterday while he was discussing the impending assault weapons ban with morons like former DC Police Chief Ramsey. What would be said today. While I’m writing this, there’s another disruption at the press conference by another Code Pink dingus. (Reports are that it was Susie Benjamin, but I missed it because I was writing this)

    The NRA has 8 million members who vote. It’s not just Wayne LaPierre – eight million of us. Wayne just happens to speak for us. Code Pink shoudl be outside my house protesting – I’ve been a member since 1977 before anyone tried to take my guns from me. Me and eight million other Americans are your real enemy, Code Pink.

    LaPierre’s money quote – “The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.”

    ADDED: I wonder if the Secret Service leave their guns in their office when they escort the President to a “gun free zone” school. They should if “gun free zones” are as safe as we’re told.

  • Quantico’s Iwo Jima Memorial defaced

    Tuesday night, some vandals took it upon themselves to deface the Iwo Jima Memorial at Quantico Marine Base by painting a pink stripe around it. Of course, I’d blame juvenile delinquents, but the juveniles might be those wretched hags of Code Pink – you know, the pink stripe. Not that they’re not juveniles, but they are rather long in the tooth.

    Military officials say the vandalism, a bright pink paint line around about half of the memorial’s base, happened Tuesday evening. Military police along with Prince William County police searched the area but did not find any suspects.

    Of course, the Code Pinkers are upset that their latest cause, Breanna Manning, was reportedly abused while he was a prisoner at Quantico, and his treatment has been in the news this week, so it stands to reason that little cretins would do something like this and then giggle about their “action”.

    Thanks to Toothless Dawg for the link.

  • Code Pink: Our Hearts Break For Gaza

    Completely ignoring the fact that Israel is merely reacting to an attack on it’s homes, 1408 times, Code Pink’s latest fund raising letter tugs at our heart strings for Gazans;

    How about a little support for the innocent Israelis who are dying and injured as a result of the war that Hamas launched from behind women’s skirts in Gaza? Like the 10 people in Tel Aviv this morning who were victims of a bombing on a bus. Or the Gazan fellow who was dragged behind a motorcycle through the streets of Gaza City because he was a suspected spy of the IDF. He was shot dead along with five others who were summarily executed on suspicions alone. No trial.

    But, luckily, Code Pink plans to travel to Gaza. let’s hope they get an up-close look at some horror.

  • Code Pink blames US for shooting of Pakistani girl

    In the story we discussed yesterday about Malala Yousafzai, the 14-year-old Pakistani girl gunned down on her school bus by the Taliban, I mentioned Code Pink. Well, today, the hags didn’t disappoint with their daily emails that I can’t seem to shut off;

    Yesterday we organized a public fast in Islamabad to atone for US killer drone strikes. We were devastated to hear news of the Taliban attack on 14-year-old Pakistani girl Malala Yousufzai who is an outspoken advocate for girls to attend school.

    After our fast we collected funds to send to Malala’s school and we are reaching out to global community to find medical help for her neurological needs. We condemn this violence and understand that American drone attacks increase extremism. We are praying for Malala’s quick recovery and return to school.

    Yeah, a public fast, or as they’re called in Waziristan, “another day without food”.

    And it was our drones that caused those poor, misunderstood Taliban to shoot her. The Washington Post has some of the details of the attack today. It seems that a grown man stood over her, asked her name and shot her point blank in her head;

    “A masked man stopped the school van, while another jumped in the rear asking for Malala,” Khan said. The driver tried to speed off, but the gunman succeeding in shooting the teenager, jumping off and escaping. A seventh-grader who was on the bus with Yousafzai was shot in the leg.

    Ihsanullah Ihsan, chief spokesman for the Pakistani Taliban, said in calls to the news media that the militant group targeted Yousafzai because she generated “negative propaganda” about Muslims.

    “She considers President Obama as her ideal leader. Malala is the symbol of the infidels and obscenity,” Ihsan said.

    Yeah, so see, it was about religion, like everything else is for these cowards.

    “The cowards who attacked Malala and her fellow students have shown time and again how little regard they have for human life and how low they can fall in their cruel ambition to impose their twisted ideology,” [Chief of Army Staff Gen. Ashfaq Parvez] Kayani said, according to a news release issued by the military’s information office. “.?.?. They have no respect even for the golden words of the prophet .?.?. that ‘the one who is not kind to children, is not amongst us.’ ”

    Oh, by the way, the Taliban, according to the Post says that if Malala survives, they’ll try to kill her again. Nice of Code Pink to choose that side of the discussion.

  • Taliban threatens Code Pink group traveling to Pakistan. (Updated)

    Some of you may or may not know but it seems that Code Pink is sending a thirty plus group to Pakistan to join a protest at the use of drones in a areas suspected of hiding Taliban groups. Also photos from them suggest that they are already have arrived.

    Today the full CODEPINK delegation to Pakistan will arrive in Islamabad to begin a week of activities to express their opposition to US drone strikes in Pakistan. A pre-delegation group of American activists has been on the ground in Pakistan for several days meeting with think tanks, human rights organizations, and military and academic institutions.

    The response from Pakistanis has been overwhelmingly positive and welcoming, and many plan to join the CODEPINK contingent as it marches to South Waziristan to protest US drone strikes on October 7th. “We are already receiving an outpouring of support from Pakistani people who are heartened to learn that there are Americans with a conscience who are willing to come all the way to Pakistan to show solidarity and apologize for the drone strikes that have brought so much death and destruction to the impoverished people of north Pakistan,” said CODEPINK cofounder and delegation leader Medea Benjamin.

    Well not everyone is feeling the love. Nor the idea of a peace parade through Pakistan.

    U.S. diplomats Friday warned a group of American peace activists not to attend a rally against U.S. missile strikes scheduled for this weekend, saying terrorists have threatened to attack the demonstration.

    Separately, the Pakistani Taliban warned Friday that they oppose the rally, which is being led by Imran Khan, an internationally famous cricket player who has become one of Pakistan’s most popular opposition politicians largely on the basis of his outspoken criticism of the U.S. role in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

    The demonstration, which has been organized by Khan’s political party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, is scheduled to leave Islamabad Saturday and hopes to enter South Waziristan, part of the militant-plagued tribal area that is considered a no-go zone, on Sunday as a protest against the use of unmanned drones to attack suspected al Qaida and Taliban militants.

    What will happen in the next few days is anyone’s guess, but I have a feeling that this could end badly since the Taliban is threatening to bomb the protest.

    On Saturday, a statement from a Taliban faction said to be based in Pakistan’s eastern Punjab province warned that militants would welcome the protesters with suicide bombings.

    “We ask the brave people of Waziristan not to side with the gang of Jews and Christians – otherwise their fate will be terrible,” the Punjabi Taliban said in the statement.

    UPDATE: It seems that they have been spotted and interviewed by CNN in Pakistan.
