  • Code Pink at Quantico

    Well, as you probably know, Code Pink and their assembled freaks from the FAR LEFT were at Quantico yesterday to show their support and beg for the release of Wiki-traitor Bradley Manning. CNN quoted some the hippies;

    “We are here to say that if he, indeed, was the whistle-blower, then we are proud of him,” said Medea Benjamin, founder of anti-war group Code Pink. “In the United States that I know and love, transparency is a positive thing.”

    Yeah, except medea has never known or loved the United States. She just mouths the words to sound main stream.

    Uncle Jimbo was there, too;

    “If Bradley Manning is the one that leaked these documents, he has already put his fellow soldiers at risk,” said Jim Hanson, who writes for the pro-military website BlackFive.

    “I think the military and the government have some things that should be kept secret. The public knows that … There is no ‘right to know’ secret information.”

    Jimbo put one picture of Concrete Bob on Blackfive. One picture. Geez.

    Luckily CNN has video starring Jim and Medea, if you can stand the contrast;

    Jim says they had less than a hundred potesters and several dozen counter-protesters. For all of the press that the protesters had, that was pretty shabby participation. I’ve seen the Left show up with half-again as many on short notice for more ridiculous events. I guess it’s hard to even find people on the Far Left to show support for a traitor on a sunny Sunday afternoon outside of DC.

    ADDED: Someone forarded me this video from Code Pink of the events yesterday. make sure you digest your breakfast before you watch;

  • Code Pink Protest at Quantico for Manning

    Several of you have sent me notification of Code Pink’s planned protest Sunday noon at Quantico Marine base where Bradley Manning, the Wikileaks, butt-bandit is currently incarcerated. Code Pink and the Left are all calling Manning a “whistleblower”. Although the second half of that phrase might be accurate, I’m pretty sure that it wasn’t a whistle. In the current usage of the word, I guess the Rosenbergs and Alger Hiss were whistleblowers, too. So was Benedict Arnold, I suppose.

    Anyway, for those of you who plan to be in the Metro DC area, there’s a counter-protest being sponsored by Free Republic;

    All patriots are urged to stand up for the Marine Corps and the United States this Sunday, August 8, 2010, from mid-morning to as long as needed as the terrorist support group Code Pink descends on the Quantico Marine Corps Base in Virginia to give aid and comfort to accused Wikileaks traitor Bradley Manning. From the Code Pink website: CODEPINK, Veterans for Peace, Courage to Resist and others will be holding a rally at Quantico Base to support whistleblower Bradley Manning. We will be delivering Bradley Manning letters of support to the base. To submit a letter to be delivered please email it to medea@globalexchange.org and we’ll print it out and hand deliver. If you live in the DC area please join us at the rally. When: Sunday, August 8, noon Where: Quantico Marine Corps Base, VA where Manning is being held in pre-trial confinement Private First Class Bradley Manning, a 22-year-old intelligence analyst stationed in Iraq, stands accused of disclosing a classified video depicting American troops in Iraq shooting civilians from an Apache helicopter in 2007. Eleven people were killed, including two Reuters employees, and two children were critically injured. No charges have been filed against the soldiers who did the killing. News sources have also speculated about Manning’s involvement in the leak of over 90,000 secret documents (collectively known as the Afghanistan “war logs”) made public by WikiLeaks on July 25. RSVP to tell us your coming at medea@globalexchange.org / 415.235.6517 (carpool available). Thank you for turning this leak into a tsunami of anti-war pressure, Bonnie, Dana, Farida, Gael, Gayle, Joan, Jodie, Medea, Nancy, Rae,Victoria and Valerie

    The ‘Jodie’ in the list above is Jodie Evans. She funded Barack Obama’s presidential campaign and works with his administration to undermine Obama’s official war policies. Jodie Evans and Code Pink also work with terrorists and state sponsors of terrorism against the United States. Jodie Evans and Code Pink also act as couriers between terrorists and Obama. Many Freepers remember that Code Pink delivered $650,000 in cash and humanitarian aid to what Code Pink called “the other side” in Fallujah as the Marines were clearing that Iraqi city of al Qaeda and other Sunni terrorists in late 2004. Jodie Evans and Code Pink also publicly endorsed the terrorists in Iraq. Lately Code Pink has been working with Hamas, the Taliban and the Muslim Brotherhood. Code Pink’s treasonous ties to terrorists and Obama has been extensively reported at Big Government and of course here at Free Republic. Code Pink also waged a campaign against the Marine Corps officer recruiting center in Berkeley. Mapquest link for Quantico. Basically, it is off I-95 just south of Dumfries. Afterward, you may want to take the time to visit the nearby National Museum of the Marine Corps. Details as to where to meet in Quantico on Sunday morning will be added to this thread, but plan to arrive around 10 a.m. As always, the D.C. Chapter of FreeRepublic.com’s rules for demonstrating will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.

    Times like this, I miss DC.

    By the way, that MOTHAX guy (whoever he is) has more at The Burnpit.

  • “You prick, you lied to us , you dick”

    From the P/Oed Patriot, by way of Gateway Pundit, a video from Lafayette Park yesterday of ANSWER wankers and some Code Pinkers (doing their best to ignore the REALLY UGLY dorks from ANSWER). Apparently, they thought that Obama was serious about getting out of the wars…and now he’s not.

    Maybe Obama is just ignoring the ugly people. I searched the crowd three times and didn’t see any IVAW people that I recognized.

  • Ann Wright lies

    White House Protest 10-5-2009 (43)a

    Mary Ann Wright, the scraggly old bag in the front of the above picture, is a member of several anti-war groups in the US. She made headlines when she resigned from her State Department job over the invasion of Saddam’s Iraq. Ever since you can watch the former Reserve Colonel populate the ranks of Code Pink, VVAW, VFP and any other crowd of doofuses that needs her to wear a T-shirt in their front ranks.

    I’ve listened to her screeches at a thousand protests in DC and watched her antics on YouTube. Here’s her military record;

    Why the military record? To prove that she really was a military officer once, but you can see for yourself how that has no meaning to her anymore. Every time you see “Col. Ann Wright”, you can just toss that “Col.” shit aside because she certainly has.

    To refresh your memory about some of the things I’ve written about her, here’s a video taken last year. At about 1:32 you can see Wright begin screaming for no reason – there are no Israeli police near her, but she screams like a twelve-year-old girl and then runs around the back of the crowd and wedges herself between a barrier and a light pole and acts like the police shoved her into the predicament. Enjoy;

    She’s such a drama queen. Well, anyway she’s been spouting off that she witnessed the action on Mavi Marmara last week off the coast of Gaza;

    ” Wright says: “I just returned from the Gaza Freedom Flotilla and started my speaking tour last night in NYC to share what I witnessed aboard the flotilla, and what people can do to end the siege.”

    “I witnessed the Israeli attack that killed 9 persons and wounded 50 on the Gaza Flotilla… the murder of nine persons… Tragically, it took another example of disproportionate use of force by the Israeli military that resulted in the deaths of nine innocent civilians to force many governments of the world to call for the Israelis to end the siege of Gaza.”

    Yeah, except she now admits she wasn’t on the Mavi Marmara, but she tries to convince a reporter that she has night vision as well as telescopic vision and saw the whole thing from the Challenger, through the darkness from several hundred yards away. Oh, and she has super-hearing, too because she heard the captain of the Mavi Marmara order people to stop beating the Israeli commandos.

    Lerner: Col. Wright I just want to make sure again – so you actually were on a different boat and did not witness the attack firsthand.

    Wright: That’s correct.

    Lerner: So your witnessing is based on the information that you are getting from the other folks who were there.

    Wright: My witness will be specifically what happened on our ship, the Challenger. And then I can comment on what happened in the very first three or four minutes as the Israeli commandos were trying to board the ship. We saw that from the stern of the ship. But after that that’s when my witnessing from my own eyes of what happened on that ship would end.

    Oh, and she hasn’t bothered to see the YouTube video of the incident. In other words, she knew what she was going to say before the first Israeli commando stepped on the Mavi Marmara.

    Thanks to Ponsdorf for the heads up.

  • Pelosi heckled by Teaparty activists

    Oh, no, it’s Code Pink and some left wing activists heckling the Speaker of the House. Last year ahe whined that right wingers scared her, and that insurance companies were behind the protesters. Which big money industry is behind this;

    When the Secret Service advises he to leave because the protesters are throwing stuff at her, she ratchets up her courage. Last year she was sniveling over the shouts, this year she’s brave in the face of missiles.

    I guess Code Pink for Peace has become part of the rent-a-mob crowd since protesting George Bush and whichever war happens to be in the news is unprofitable these days.

  • Not enough troops in Afghanistan

    Running up to the 2008 election, we read about how Bush had neglected Afghanistan and how the war there was under-resourced. Critics, of course, rightly blamed the Bush Administration, consistently and loudly every time a report emerged which bolstered their pre-conceived notions. So what should we do with this report;

    Despite the addition of more than 50,000 U.S. troops to Afghanistan over the past year, there still aren’t enough forces to conduct operations in the majority of key areas, according to a congressionally mandated report released Wednesday on progress in Afghanistan.

    Coalition forces have decided to focus their efforts on 121 key districts in Afghanistan, but right now, NATO has enough forces to operate in only 48 of those districts, the report said.

    So where is that consistent and loud criticism these days? I guess it’s better used to beat down enforcement of our immigration laws, or to complain about the folks who invest our money in a market we don’t understand. Or to complain about banks which foreclose on our houses when we don’t pay the mortgage for months or years.

    I guess it really doesn’t matter anymore that General McChrystal asked for more troops than he got;

    “Failure to gain the initiative and reverse insurgent momentum in the near-term (next 12 months) — while Afghan security capacity matures — risks an outcome where defeating the insurgency is no longer possible,” U.S. and NATO commander Gen. Stanley McChrystal said in the document, according to the Post.

    The President and Congress sought a political compromise in a no-compromise situation. Political decisions made by amateurs have no place in the all-too-real world of fighting wars. When our foreign policy is written in the front room of the Code Pink House, we really can’t expect a different outcome than we have now.

  • The DC protest video highlights

    Here are some of the videos I’ve found and were sent to me about the protest this last weekend.

  • VFP’s DC theater

    Code Red and Code Pink 027

    I ran into Concretebob at the Code Red rally yesterday and he pointed me to the VFP’s theater in DC yesterday. Anemic doesn’t begin to describe what was going on at their little theater yesterday;

    Code Red and Code Pink 028

    The display, of course is supposed to be markers of every soldier killed in Iraq. Some of the markers have actual names of the fallen, but most of them look like this;
    Code Red and Code Pink 030

    Most of the people who visited the display, were on their way to the Capitol Code Red rally, so the doofuses had an audience thanks to Jon Voight and Michelle Bachman. You have to wonder why VFP doesn’t support war with Iran – you know, the guys who’ve promised to erase Israel from the face of the earth, denied there was a holocaust, and are all for hastening the arrival of the twelfth imam;

    Code Red and Code Pink 029

    I’d heard from Concretebob that Cindy Sheehan was there along with IVAW and VVAw, but when I got there, all I saw was this ten-year-old girl and a few hippies;

    Code Red and Code Pink 033

    Code Red and Code Pink 032

    I guess it’s because when I was at the display, there were no TV cameras.

    Well, if you take a look at all three of the posts I’ve written about the events in DC yesterday, you decide which was more attended at their advertised start time. I’m not making any estimates of any of the crowds – you decide from the pictures.
