  • Peace activists raped and kidnapped by Palestinians

    Israel National News posts an article today that tells the tale of young peace activists who go to the Palestinian territories to protest the “occupation” by Israel but who end up as shotgun brides and rape victims to the people they’ve come to help.

    Most female leftist European activists, writes Bello, are brainwashed in their youth into hating Israel, and then sent directly into Judea and Samaria, without spending a single night in Tel Aviv, lest they see civilian Israeli society for themselves and find that they like it. They are whisked off to Shechem, Jenin and other PA towns and housed in Arab educational or cultural facilities, or private homes. Local Arab girls are sent to befriend them and they have no choice but to trust them.

    It is is easy, explains Bello, “to carry out a sexual crime against a foreign girl, in her first days away from her family, in a place where no police have ever visited. And this is what happens, and has happened.”

    “I was told of such rape cases by women who are not Jewish: a female European leftist activist, a female Red Cross volunteer and a young Arab woman from Yafo,” he says. He says that he met these women when he carried out IDF reserve duty, and met them afterward as well. “They told me what goes on there, in the Palestinian villages, far from any prying eye.”

    Think Rachel Corrie. Victims of their education and upbringing, some of these women end up being wives to the Palestinians and trapped by the patriarchal society. Some have escaped to Europe and told their stories, but according to the article, they’re silenced by the peace movement.

  • Under the Hood takes another life

    Meet SPC Kyle Wesolowski of Delta Company 1-12 Cav, Fort Hood, TX. I guess he recently he decided that he’s a Buddist and that he doesn’t belong in the Army, so he’s applied for conscientious objector status and by reading his statement, it look like he’s been approved. So he figures that because he’s a CO, he’s on The Army Welfare Queen Support Program;

    I refuse to take part in any field exercises that go against my core values as a Buddhist such as but not limited to: handling of ammunition and weapons under any circumstances, maintenance of any army vehicles, taking part in any classes in army job education as these activities prepare either myself or others for war. Participation in such activities is perpetuation of war which is an objection of my conscience.

    I guess he’ll also refuse to wear Army uniforms, do PT, pick up cigarette butts, scratch his ass, since all of that somehow “prepare either myself or others for war”. Dingus.

    Oh, and he figures he’s going to take out a career NCO who has probably used a whole lot of restraint in not pounding Wesolowski’s pink pimpled ass into the Fort Hood sand. Just reading that paragraph in Wesolowski’s statement on his “Free Kyle” website (probably set up by Branum, Wesolowski’s lawyer. Can’t you tell?) negates all of his complaints about his NCOs and commander as far as I’m concerned.

    Little punk-ass douche. When does he get his “namuh” tattoo?

    If you don’t believe that he’s a Buddist, his Facebook page has pictures of him sitting cross-legged on the floor looking at the wall. Kinda like that picture of Adam Perlman on an Israeli beach from yesterday – how can you argue with photographic proof?

  • How’s that Mao thing working out?

    A professor from Hong Kong was able to get unprecedented access to government archives in China from the period known as “The Great Leap Forward” during which Mao Zedong tried to catch China up with the twentieth century by wiping out millions of families;

    Mr Dikötter, who has been studying Chinese rural history from 1958 to 1962, when the nation was facing a famine, compared the systematic torture, brutality, starvation and killing of Chinese peasants to the Second World War in its magnitude. At least 45 million people were worked, starved or beaten to death in China over these four years; the worldwide death toll of the Second World War was 55 million.

    In just four years. Pretty good role model ain’t he? That’s probably why Victor Agosto, of the IVAW admires him (that’s Victor mimicking Mao’s image in the Great Leap Forward poster above). Yeah, the founders of ANSWER and World Can’t Wait were all admitted Maoists – but if we call them communists, we’re “red baiting”.

    Victor says China’s model of communism is “state capitalism”. But, Mao was a Stalinist and used starvation as a weapon against his people just like Stalin and Lenin did.

    The lessons of history are always lost on the Left.

  • Duff: Israel will destroy us

    Yes, Gordon Duff is a moron, a world-class moron. We’ve featured many of his nuttier warnings about the Mossad false-flag operations which have plagued the poor idiots who inhabit this planet. Only Duff seems bright enough to spot the clues which point at the Israelis. Every. Single. Time. Well, this week’s column is no different. Entitled Is America’s Military Prepared For The Israeli Threat? along with a picture of an ICBM launch.

  • Missing the point of 9-11 completely

    So, I was perusing the new IVAW website (which apparently doesn’t block us yet) and I tripped over these droppings from Victor Agosto;

    …the world’s biggest terrorists are the those who will stop at nothing to control land, resources, markets, and people. They are the capitalist ruling class, whose lust for profit cannot be satisfied.

    Victor began this journey as an opponent to the war, and now he’s a class warrior. He never claimed to be a conscientious objector, but I guess he would be now, since all wars that the US fights seems to be a war for our capitalist ruling class…even though we didn’t antagonize anyone rational in the Muslim world to cause the attack on September 11th.

    Well, we did liberate Kuwait, kept Hussein from using his aircraft against Iraqis, stationed troops in Saudi Arabia at the invitation of the government. We kept the Egyptians and Israelis separated from each other for two decades at the invitation of both governments. We gave aid to nearly every country in the Near East – even Afghanistan – before the attack.

    None of that prevented the 9-11 attack. But yeah, it’s all the fault of the capitalists. If you have the memory the same length as a fruit fly’s life span.

    But Victor is a great example of the influence that the International Socialist Organization has on the members of the anti-war movement. A year ago, Victor was just a criminal who avoided his obligation. Today, he mouths the empty words of the class warriors.

  • Diliberto on “Crazed Christians”

    Jake Diliberto from “Rethinking Afghanistan” and a frequent visitor here, sent us a link to his latest piece on Huffington Post entitled “Crazed Christians: Two Lifesized Looney Tunes” about Terry Jones and Fred Phelps and their handful of acolytes and somehow Diliberto blames all of Christendom for these few idiots.

    Christian leaders should take these real-life cartoon characters as a wake-up call. No one will dislike the church who feeds the poor and provides health care for others (except, of course, Glenn Beck).

    Now, I may be wrong, but I’m pretty sure that there isn’t some Grand Council of Christians who can condemn to death folks who commit themselves to an odd and distasteful branch of Christianity. And I don’t know what kind of “wake up call” is required. Blaming the entirety of the Christian religion for the acts of a few is fairly narrow-minded and smacks of bigotry. To hint that “Christian leaders” are somehow responsible by their inaction is just plain ignorant.

    Diliberto begins his article by comparing these two knuckleheads to some of the worst events in history;

    Between the Crusades, the Great Schism, the Thirty Years’ War, the Spanish Inquisition, the Salem Witch Trials, and the Christian genocide of Native Americans, Christianity has plenty of black eyes to go around.

    OK, all of you Christians who took part in any of those events, please raise your hands. Really? No one? OK, let me see the hands of those of you who condone those incidents. None of you? Then WTH point is Diliberto trying to make?

    I read the other articles Diliberto wrote on Huffington Post and I don’t see one that condemns any other religion for real atrocities like throwing acid on schoolgirls, blowing up shopping centers, blowing up train loads of commuters, stabbing ideological opponents on a public street in Europe, raiding tourist hotels with guns, bombs and grenades, shooting up unarmed soldiers in Texas, attempted bombings in Chicago and New York, shooting two privates in Arkansas on a smoke break…need I go on? And those are things that happened in the last few years and happen every day – not something that happened centuries ago.

    If Diliberto can blame Christians for the misguided antics of two sects, why doesn’t he blame Islam for the deadly and terroristic (my own word, don’t look it up) behavior of several thousand Muslims?

  • Am I missing something?

    I just got an email from Jacque Betz, the head of Code Pink in Gainesville, FL where Terry Jones the pyromaniac preacher of the Dove World Knucklehead Center calls home. Betz writes;

    We are ashamed that he was become the face of Gainesville and we are using this debacle as an opportunity to counter the dangerous explosion of Islamophobia in this country.

    What dangerous explosion are we talking about? One left wing film student who knifed a cab driver? A preacher threatening to burn a Koran – which is stupid and condemned by everyone who can get to a TV camera from Barack Obama to Sarah Palin? A peaceful protest in New York City against a religious center being built?

    And what has Betz done to build bridges between communities?

    We have also created a Peace Ribbon composed of over 300 panels that pay tribute to the soldiers and civilians victims of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan

    Yep, that ought to do it. It’s as useless as burning a Koran – an empty, pathetic, pointless gesture to counter another empty, pathetic, pointless gesture.

    But I want to know where this explosion of Islamaphobia is and why haven’t I been invited?

  • I thought Johnny Yuma was a rebel

    This is pretty funny, The American Bar Associaton features the Lionel Hutz of the peace lawyers, James Branum, in their Legal Rebels column this issue.

    “I’ve had clients confess to me things that would be war crimes, like having to kill children who came too close to their vehicle when they were in combat,” Branum says. “On the other hand, I hear about soldiers who take tremendous risks to do the right things.”

    Clients, many of whom find Branum on the Internet through Google ads or the blog on his website GIRightsLawyer.com, pay a sliding fee, usually between $60 and $150 an hour.

    A lawyer who is aware of crimes and doesn’t report them? Isn’t that unethical? $150/hour? For soldiers and their familes? I notice he didn’t mention that sometimes he lives with his clients, eats them out of house and home and then when his clients get evicted because they can’t pay their rent, Branum moves on to the next patsy.

    Branum estimates that last year he earned about $20,000, and he is hoping to earn $25,000 this year. An active member of the Joy Mennonite Church in Oklahoma City, he lives in an apartment owned by the congregation and serves as their minister of peace and justice.

    I should apply to be that church’s War and Torture minister so I can get me a free house.

    He also decided a law degree would serve his faith more than protesting and agitating, although he still does that too, often just outside army bases where his clients are detained. “I came to the conclusion that the best thing I could do to make the world a more peaceful place was to help one soldier at a time get out,” he says

    Well, they all get out of the service, alright, after a quick trip through a hoosegow. Speaking of which, Victor Agosto, one of Branum’s clients and a former inmate at Bell County, Texas jail has nothing but praise for Branum, the leech. I wonder if they’re as happy about Branum’s performance as their lawyer while they’re in jail.
