Teti may have told the truth about his military record, but he can’t help but apparently lie about everything else.  He’s got some self-serving bullshit up now about ”internet terrorists that feel like making slanderous remarks and death threats” which is a straight up lie and he knows it.  The man is completely bereft of honor and integrity.  I was going to drop it, but this guy lies, gets caught in his lie, and just makes an even bigger one.

So let’s go through the record regarding Teti’s various claims since this began.  (NOTE: this one deals only with his comments, if you want to talk about his military record, search the stuff that was up before now.)

Folks, as you can see, which I totally predicted, these children obviously called FB and complained about my post. It is no longer up. I ASSURE YOU I DID NOT TAKE IT DOWN. I purposely left their post up as well. I could have deleted it…….I didn’t. I will make another offer to anyone who likes to comment on ANY web site, or any other “blog” in regards to slanderous / libelous remarks made a…bout me, or any threats you would like to make to me. My business proposition still stands, $10,000 for 10 minutes of your time. Plain and simple. I would appreciate a 24 hour heads up so that I can clear my schedule for that day in order we can have quality time together.

Let me illustrate how idiotic this one is, because he keeps saying that our refusal to respond makes us cowards.  (Because, you know, we still have trial by combat today, and whoever can beat the shit out of someone else in a dark alley is God’s chosen, and obviously telling the truth.)  So, I offer a counter proposition:  Next time you want to beat your wife with a rubber hose, you call us, and we’ll give you 18 gazillion dollars for 10 minutes of your time to play “Go Fish.”   You can see where the problem is here: it is the condition precedent.  Joe can say “I never beat my wife with a rubber hose” much as we can say we never engaged in “slanderous/libelous remarks.”  We know that *he* knows this as well, since he’s repeatedly threatened lawsuits for any such remarks, and yet, he has my contact info with a request to talk to his attorneys and he has yet to respond.

 As for the “he did not take it down” thing….let’s review the facts.  This is the email I sent him when he put that post up:

We have gone through each and every comment, and there is no allegation of Arson mentioned at all. The only mention of theft is from a comment that specifically cites to the source making that allegation (not us), and which Jonn expressly disavowed in his posting wherein he stated he would not engage in rumors. So what exactly is the basis for the claim that the blog This Ain’t Hell has “sa[id you] committed FELONY acts, such as arson and theft”?

10 minutes later the post he had up came down.  Now Occam’s Razor: more likely that Facebook violated their own terms of service by taking down a posting on Teti’s facebook without any valid reason; or that Teti himself took it down when it was pointed out he was lying?

 To my fans, don’t even waste another second of your time even responding to this. The beauty of this is that they did all the work for me, only rallied my fans behind me, showed there is not a single person amongst them that has a back bone, and lastly, proved to me how some people choose to live their lives not in pursuit of happiness and peace, but to try to bolster their miserable lives by trying to tear down others. Truly diluted people to say the least. To be honest, the true pay back for me is that they get to spend the rest of their lives like that.

“Diluted” people?  What the hell is a diluted person?

UPDATE: Dude took the facebook post down.  Probably a good move, since we clearly never said any of the things he was accusing us of saying.

I’ve been looking for where we said that, and I find nothing.*  Certainly not in a post, and I didn’t see any comments that said it either.  But I know Teti has a host of lawyers, so we must have said it somewhere because I am sure Joe wouldn’t just make untrue allegations for shits and giggles.  Right?

[* It appears he’s referring to this comment.   A comment which explicitely states “Here’s some info regarding Joe Teti from a forum called wilderness-survival.net” and then quotes it.  Apparently quoting from somewhere else is tantamount to stating it?  That’s a pretty odd policy to take.  After all, he cites to us, which I guess makes him complicit in his own defamation.  Or, as Joe calls it repeatedly “deformation”.]

Just a reminder of some of the horrid shit Jonn said about Teti:

• Most of that is true. He was indeed in the USMC’s Force Recon.
• He was also in Special Forces – National Guard Special Forces- for five years, ending on May 1st, 2000.
• I don’t disparage his service because he certainly accomplished more in his nine years than I did in my two decades, well, school-wise, anyway.
• There are rumors about him flying around the internet and I won’t engage in hearsay.
•  I found him to be an affable fellow, even though he called me ‘sir’ more times than I was comfortable with. And he called me a “smart guy” several times – if only he knew.

Wait, what?  What part was so colorful?  Where he used your records to show you were telling the truth?

Again, his beef seems to be with commenters arguing whether service as a contractor makes him a “combat veteran.”  About 1/2 believe it does, and 1/2 believe it doesn’t.  And no one is crapping on contractors, least of all me, especially since I wear a Blackwater hat all the time.

Dude seems to need meds or something.

Everyone keeps saying we should have done it face to face.  Which of us should have done that?  We make no money on the blog, certainly not enough to fly anywhere when email and phones work.  You’d have thought the numerous emails and phone calls would have been sufficient, especially since Jonn’s post just gives the dude a tonguebath, but apparently those of you who want to write bad things should write them in his presence or something.

Now, it goes without saying, YOU ARE NOT HELPING if you threaten him, call his house or anything else.  Don’t pass on rumors of arson or anything else.  I haven’t seen anyone do it, but in case you were thinking of it, do not.  This whole fued is pretty much played out as far as we are concerned. 

And to whoever the shitdick was calling his phone/internet provider claiming to be Jonn and alter his service, it didn’t work.  If you think he’s an asshole now, you should deprive him of Megyn Kelly for a day or two and things will get real fricken interesting.

There’s nothing I like as much as a legal threat letter.  But a close second is an actual threat letter with words spelled wrong, rampant and senseless hyperbole, and the uneducated twaddle of a person wearing a cheap ass Guy Fawkes mask.   This morning, we hit the trifecta.

Let’s go back.  Remember that the only problem with Joe Teti is whether he was an “OIF OEF Veteran” when he did not serve in the armed forces, but rather as a contractor.  From there, he threatened lawsuits.  Over the word “veteran.”  And now, his minions have our email address, and I get horseshit like this sent to us:

The University of Wyoming Police Department says Meg Lanker-Simons created the anonymous threat of sexual violence targeted at her on social media last week.

The university announced Tuesday that campus police cited Lanker-Simons for misdemeanor interference with a police investigation.

Lanker-Simons accused an anonymous source of posting a threat of rape on the Facebook page “UW Crushes” on April 24. But the citation issued Monday claims Lanker-Simons admitted to making the post, then lying about it….

“I want to hatef— Meg Lanker- so hard,” the Facebook post read. “That chick that runs her liberal mouth all the time and doesn’t care who knows it. I think its hot and it makes me angry. One night with me and she’s gonna be a good Republican b—-.”

University of Wyoming student Meg Lanker and University of Illinois-Chicago Professor Dr. William Ayers filed suit against UW and UW President Tom Buchanan in federal court in Cheyenne Thursday afternoon seeking an immediate injunction against the university for the “current and imminent violations of plaintiff’s (Lanker and Ayers) rights guaranteed under the First and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution.”

University of Wyoming Communications Director Jessica Lowell had no comment.

Filed by attorney David Lane, the complaint alleges that UW “acting under color of state law” has barred Ayers from speaking on campus and further declared that such actions are prior restraint against the rights of Ayers and Lanker to freedom of speech, freedom of assembly and freedom of association.

One of the specific threats allegedly was this:

Maybe someone could take him out and show him the Matthew Sheppard (sic) Commerative (sic) Fence and he could bless it or something

Only source I can find on that one right now is Ayers himself. But, maybe some more digging.

[Eagle-eyed readers will realize that this is a re-post of a story first presented here in 2010. However, I believe this event is so impressive it needs to be repeated.]

There is something odd in the human spirit that celebrates events where a small group of men, despite being badly outnumbered by a foe, will still resist and likely die. Greece has the 300 Spartans at the pass of Thermopylae; the United States has the Alamo and its “thirteen days of glory;” and Great Britain has the successful defense of Rorke’s Drift in the 1879 Anglo-Zulu War. Then, there is France and its Foreign Legion, which every year on April 30 at its headquarters in Aubagne, holds a solemn parade and celebration for the brave men who gave their lives far from home, defending their lives and honor, at a small town in Mexico called Camarón de Tejeda…

The 1830 July Revolution had brought a constitutional monarchy to France after three days of street fighting in Paris. As a result, all foreign regiments in the French army were disbanded. However, the new king, Louis-Philippe realized that he needed some way to expand the French military to continue the conquest of Algeria still going forward despite the upheaval in the capital. In addition, many liberal intellectuals and students were wandering the streets of Paris, and the new king was looking for a way to get them out of his kingdom.

OK, so for all my goofing, I actually love hippies. Love them. Don’t speak their language, and don’t live in their world, but these variety of hippies I really like. This lady clearly believes what she is saying, and despite what I might have considered my hostile approach to her, she is unflappable in her “World is love” viewpoint.

Then again, I’ve seen the Grateful Dead 54 times.

But you know what? Her response, while insane, is at least earnest. I see this lady crying if she steps on a bug. It’s a beautiful and yet fragile wonderland she lives in. And without a ton of weed, I couldn’t even visit it.

[By the way Dougie: We get 1/4 million visitors a month. Your page has less than 300 likes. That means each of your “likes” needs to visit your Facebook page 30 times every day to even come close to our traffic.)

But, since Dougie Collett seems to be having a nervous breakdown on his website today, I think this would be a nice gesture:

From 1992 to 1996 served the greatest Marine ever. He was a hybrid Hygiene-Equipment Operator-Combat-Engineer-S1-Clerk.

During his tour of duty in Hawaii, PFC Collett ensured that beaches were cleared of mines prior to the landing of the Infantry, and was grievously wounded whilst repelling invaders. For all that PFC Collett did for his country and for the United State Marine Corp, he was only awarded a Naval Achievement Medal.

He saw more combat than veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. He had PTSD (and cured it).

He is a doctor, a lawyer, a cop, an Infantryman, an engineer and a reporter. He’s also Mark Smith.

It’s time we honor America’s Greatest Hero.

When I say he’s having a nervous breakdown, I mean it. He claimed none of you were commenting there, and I specifically watched him deleting comments. Then he used the phrase “retarded” like 40 times, which is both wildly insensitive, and hyperbolic self-delusion on his part.

My newest theory based on his writing today is that he was a sorority girl with Delta Gamma who sent an ill advised email about his war heroics to the other girls.
