  • Yes, they are paid to protest

I went to the trouble of doing some digging on Thursday evening, because I am fed up to the gills with the fear mongering and other crap rhetoric going on, and that includes the crap coming from the Democrats and the Republicans, both.

The Democrats seem to think they have the upper hand. They are gloating about the seeming backlash over what Pres. Trump did/did not say about what happened at Charlotte, NC. Elsewhere, I’m finding articles written for publications that I would never otherwise read, all of which clearly dislike Pres. Trump because HILLARY didn’t win!

Plainly, taking a step back is in order here. It’s getting a bit thick and we need to air the room out. I like to get to the bottom of things… you know: the heart of the matter. The source of the issue. The fount of the mess created by loud noisy crowds, ignorant responses, and rhetoric and noise coming from people who enjoy seeing others panic… all of which lies in the lap of the media.

So I did what I usually do, dig for backup for what I have to say and here it is.

The Charlotte, NC, riots – they have no other name – were generated by what seemed to be two extremist groups, but in reality consists of only one extremist group , the KKK/neo-Nazis, facing a group of paid actors and troublemakers and people with cameras to record it.  They were hired to do this. Now, how do I know this?

Well, I took the trouble of looking for stuff that people were suggesting might be the root cause of the violence, that is, people who were hired to engage in violent and destructive behavior, and guess what I found?  Yeah, that’s right: they were hired to do it.  A company named Crowds on Demand placed an ad on Craigslist before the Charlotte, NC, protest, offering $25/hour to actors and photographers to go there and participate in a ‘peaceful’ protest. https://charlotte.craigslist.org/tfr/d/actors-and-photographers/6253305119.htm

I saved a screen shot of the ad because it shows the ad’s content. The company is based in Los Angeles. When Infowars tried to contact them about it, they took the ad down, but it reappeared shortly afterwards. I saved the screenshot in case the ad disappears again. Anyone interested enough can go searching for it.

I don’t normally go to Infowars for anything, but I saw a link to the story about this ad online and followed it. Here it is:  https://www.infowars.com/why-was-this-crowd-hire-company-recruiting-25-an-hour-political-activists-in-charlotte-last-week/

Poetrooper said that Trump is losing the military. I found two stories online with that headline, suggesting that there is mutiny of some sort within the structure of the Department of Defense, when in fact, there is no such thing.

    https://www.aol.com/article/news/2017/08/16/us-military-leaders-are-distancing-themselves-from-trumps-charlottesville-rhetoric/23079036/

AOL’s article simply repeats what the 82nd Airborne Division said about the man in the 82nd Airborne cap and added the statement that the Pentagon is removing itself from Trump’s influence with no backup provided to support that declaration.. It is an opinionated, incorrect statement, with no basis for its existence. Likewise, Nguyen’s article in Vanity Fair, a magazine that used to be, and still is, not much more than a gossip column with slick ads, takes the stance that her opinion is more valuable than real research. There is no real substance to what she says.  https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2017/08/donald-trump-military-white-supremacism-response

Nowhere did I see anything indicating that CNO Richardson, or anyone else, did anything but make appropriate statements. https://twitter.com/CNORichardson/status/896529683508015104

    That includes Neller (USMC)  https://twitter.com/GenRobertNeller/status/897591648007446529

    and Miley (Army) https://twitter.com/armychiefstaff/status/897742317897093121

If you read those Twitter links, tell me where, in any of them, there is an indication that these senior officers said anything inappropriate or disrespectful of the President.  Where? Where do they say they disagree with Pres. Trump’s responses to the media’s questions? Poe, could you stop being such a gloomy old stick?

The only hatred and divisiveness I can find being stirred up lies at the feet of the media in toto. If they hate Donald Trump, so be it. They have the right to detest him with every fibre of their useless beings. They also have the right to speak freely about how much they hate him. They do not, however, have the right to destroy this country by lying their asses off about him.

As Jonn and several of us have said before, the remedy for false speech is truth.

The truth is that these protests since the election results were announced have been generated by people who are paid to do that. Remember that ‘someone has to die’ statement from last year?

If anyone wants to investigate Crowds on Demand, go right ahead. Have a good time. I have saved a screen shot of the ad. I think it bears looking into. After all, there will likely be another protest of some kind by the leftie KKKers before long. Someone will alert them.  Chartered buses have to be booked in advance. That costs money as do the paid participants. That’s what should be looked at. None of those post-election protests were spontaneous. Not. One. Damned. Protest.  If this is not subversion of this country, then what is it?

This is America, my country. Love it, or take your sorry ass some place else.

  • About Guam Today…This Morning

    Guam Island AH2/AB2RF

    Guam Photo: DX News

This is the latest bit regarding ND:tBF’s threats toward Guam: North Korea dials back.   I guess a little verbal ‘fire and fury’ from someone taller than Fatty Kim da T’ird is making him do something he usually doesn’t do: T-H-I-N-K. Or maybe wet his drawers. He is now ‘holding off’ on his plan to shoot-shoot-shoot-bang-bang at our Pacific territory, the island of Guam.  http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-40931775

Okay, sure he is. He has other tricks up his sleeve. He never wastes an opportunity to get attention, does he? He’ll probably go back to scaring Japan, because it’s closer, but don’t turn your back on the little bugger. He’s a treacherous as a cottonmouth.

However, this news gives the markets a chance to breathe deeply and open trending up this Tuesday morning.   http://www.marketwatch.com/story/us-stocks-eye-opening-gains-as-north-korea-pulls-back-on-guam-threat-2017-08-15

Meantime, on the peaceful island of Guam, a U.S. territory with a bevy of US military bases and lots of US military personnel, including those 1500 additional Marines that did not make the island tip over, Guam Foodie has a wealth of stuff for you to enjoy, including links to the Spam Museum.  http://www.guampdn.com/lifestyle/guam-foodie/

Guam’s online news  http://www.guampdn.com/news/   reports no uptick in activity at the military bases: http://www.guampdn.com/story/news/2017/08/14/residents-near-guams-military-bases-see-no-spike-activity/563875001/

Guamaians themselves assure us that they are well-prepared for any eventuality regarding Norkiland. http://www.guampdn.com/story/news/2017/08/14/officials-send-message-guam-well-prepared-crisis/563877001/

If you’re interested , top round steak is currently $4.49/lb at Island Fresh, if you want to go shopping. That’s less than it costs here. Here’s the Facebook link for Island Fresh:  https://www.facebook.com/islandfreshgu/

But remember to pick up a few cans of Spam, too. The Guamaians have a wealth of recipes for Spam.  Try Annie’s Chamorro Spam recipe for Fried Rice with Spam, bacon and chorizos Españot.  I have to give that a shot. I love a good hash recipe.  http://www.annieschamorrokitchen.com/spam/ If you try it, give her a nod, please.  If you’ve been stationed at Guam, please let us know. Give us a flashback report, willya?

I have never seen Gun Beach, except in WWII films. http://theguamguide.com/gun-beach/  It seems to be a top spot for snorkelers. There is a marine preserve full of exotic fish and other shallow depth critters.

Might be a good place to retire to. I’ll leave the light on for you.

  • News from Venezuela

Erosion is underway in Venezuela’s military. Small groups of military members are retaining their weapons or acquiring them from armories and going off on their own, posting videos addressed to Venezuelans in general to oppose Maduro and his dictatorship.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2017/08/08/world/americas/nicolas-maduro-venezuela-military.html

I see reports that the opposition has given up and others that it has not. Being on the outside looking in, I can’t make a judgment on this, nor would I do so.  I would guess that the opposition people, those who protested in the streets, are simply worn to the bone.

However, some of the reports indicate that the newly-elected assembly has now declared itself all-powerful and the opposition congress illegitimate. I can speculate on the direction this will take, because we’ve seen it happen before. But quite frankly, these things don’t end well.

Foreign ministers from 17 Western hemisphere nations are rejecting Venezuela’s new assembly.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/the_americas/the-latest-venezuela-opposition-urges-nationwide-protest/2017/08/07/a9272ef8-7bd0-11e7-b2b1-aeba62854dfa_story.html?utm_term=.c00e4f32559f

Venezuelans are leaving their own country by any means possible. Delta and Avianca suspended their flights to Venezuela at the end of July. I believe that leaves 10 airlines still making stops there.

    http://www.foxnews.com/travel/2017/07/28/venezuela-sees-delta-avianca-halt-flights-to-country-amid-political-and-economic-turmoil.html

Avianca has completely suspended all flights to and from Venezuela, while some South American countries are expanding visas for Venezuelans who are leaving the country.

In addition to all of this, Venezuela is on the verge of defaulting on its bond payments.

    http://money.cnn.com/2017/08/07/news/economy/venezuela-debt/index.html

$251 million can just be kissed goodbye, because Maduro doesn’t have it. Citgo’s refineries will not be getting any more Venezuelan oil, so that’s out as a resource. Maduro may have made a deal with Rosneft, but it is not cast in stone.

Without cash, with a bankrupt treasury, Maduro has no money to buy imported foodstuffs like grains. In a country with good farmland, which Venezuela does have, you have to ask why it is dependent on external sources for basic necessities… but then, go back to when Chavez took over and Venezuela stopped being self-sufficient.

Meanwhile, people have been scrounging through trash to find something – anything – to eat for weeks while that fat slob Maduro sits in his palace, stuffing himself.

  • The Axe is Falling….

Maduro has gone beyond being a bully and a dictator.

Luisa Ortega Diaz, Venezuela’s legitimate attorney general, has been barred from her office by security forces, and replaced with Tarek William Saab, who was recently sanctioned by the Trump administration for his failure to protect protesters from abuses, in his role as Venezuela’s top human rights official.

    http://www.latimes.com/world/la-fg-venezuela-assembly-session-20170805-story.html

In my view, this simply leads next into executions of ‘enemies of the state’, meaning whoever Maduro spies with his piggy eyes, along the same lines as Pol Pot’s destruction of Cambodian society, Mao Tse-Tung ditto, and the current despicable regime in North Korea under Fatty Kim da T’ird. I could also bring up the despotism of Peron and Pinochet, but it all boils down to the same thing: Maduro is just another version of Stalin or Pol Pot or any of the other thugs that have seized power and destroyed their countries in the process.

Ortega Diaz is barred from leaving Venezuela and her bank accounts have been frozen. If she is officially barred from leaving the country, it can mean one of two things: she will be in hiding, or she is under house arrest and will be imprisonned before long.

Public executions of people like Ortega Diaz will not surprise me at all.  People simply disappeared under Peron and Pinochet.

The people of Venezuela do not deserve this.

  • Don’t Weep For Me, Venezuela….

    Sorry, couldn’t resist that line.

This morning’s news about Venezuela is that the people of Venezuela did not want the 1999 constitution replaced by Maduro’s rule.  That was what their election was supposed to address.

It did not go the way they had hoped.  In some places, voters were blocked from the polls altogether.

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/jul/30/fear-of-violence-hangs-over-venezuela-assembly-election

And now we have to worry about what is going to happen in that country. If the Venezuelans in general are as vocal as they seem to be about how much they detest Maduro and his attempts at dictatorship, then it’s logical to start asking if this is going to be another episode like Peron, Pinochet or Allende, where people just disappear….

This is several decades after those attempts to install Marxist governments, and both Chile and Argentina have settled down. Some of my winter fruits and veggies come from Chile and I have wine from the Rapel Valley. Good stuff.  Chile has become a mecca for skibums and snow bunnies. This simply shows that a free market economy will make a country prosper.

But this disquiet in Venezuela does not look good. I hope our people have been evacuated from Caracas, and that these riots do not result in wholesale destruction. It’s unclear how much loyalty the military have for Maduro.  That remains to be seen.

I can say that when it makes reports at the local news stations, which are frequently dull as a stick, it’s not just another election.

Maduro has, unless I find otherwise, become Venezuela’s dictator.

Allende committed suicide after three years.

I wonder how long Maduro will last.

  • Mankind faces extinction… or something like that

Attention on deck!  Now hear this!  Per a linked article from WUWT, the human race may become extinct… or something.

    https://wattsupwiththat.com/2017/07/28/spermpocalypse-now/

“The study, “Temporal Trends in Sperm Count”, published in Human Reproduction Update, reports “a significant decline in sperm counts…between 1973 and 2011, driven by a 50–60% decline among men unselected by fertility from North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.” By “unselected,” the authors basically mean young men who are screened for military service or college who are unlikely to be aware of their fertility status. (For example, the Danish military subjects its recruits to a compulsory medical examination that apparently includes measuring their sperm count and testes sizes.)”

There may be something to the idea that dumber-than-average people are becoming part of a growing population group.

We have, after all, seen how many reasoning, smart people do NOT show up for noisy, destructive protests and demonstrations, haven’t we?

Well, this drop in sperm count may explain it. The smart guys (like you all) are staying where they belong – out of that crap, serving their country, having families, doing normal stuff – and the dumb guys and gals are making loud, angry, stupid noises, destroying property, leaving trash behind them in the streets and breaking stuff, not wanting to have families, expecting support from cradle-to-grave caretakers, because they’re too infantile and stupid to do anything else.

I think the study referred to in the WUWT article may have found the answer to some of those unanswerable questions you’ve had, such as ‘how dumb can you get, and still walk upright?’ and ‘do they have any idea how ridiculous they are?’

It does explain why none of them see the connection between crude oil and the synthetic fabrics they cling to, as an example, and why they have useless degrees that only qualify them for traffic direction jobs in PyongYang, Norkiland.

  • Friday Morning Foreign News

Are we heading for another war in Southeast Asia?  https://www.reuters.com/article/us-southchinasea-vietnam-china-idUSKBN1AD1FB

I hope not. China and Vietnam are in a dispute over Vietnam’s right to drill for oil in its own territorial waters.

This is silly. Oil is in a ‘glut’ state now, and some auto companies like Volvo and Tesla are planning to go all-electric within a decade or two. The UK has announced it will ban all diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles by 2040.  http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/07/25/new-diesel-petrol-cars-banned-uk-roads-2040-government-unveils/

The practical factors involved in something like this aren’t being addressed, but that is not my problem or yours. It’s theirs. Idealism is a wunnafulla thing, isn’t it?

Meantime, the US government has ordered family members of its embassy employees in Venezuela to leave that country, while violence in the streets increases as the elections draw near.

    https://www.reuters.com/article/us-venezuela-politics-idUSKBN1AC1S9

Caracas is possibly the worst hit by more and more crowd violence. That rogue police officer firing at government buildings a week or so is a mere symptom of what is going on down there. Maduro has raised the minimum wage by 50%, but if the bolivar is worthless, well…. That entire country is imploding.  The coming election is meant to revoke Venezuela’s constitution and install Maduro as dictator, plain and simple.

I think we should get all of our people out, not just their families. Remember Carter’s Iranian fiasco? I don’t think we need to be forced to ransom our own people. Just get them out now.

  • Just a few things….

Macron’s Defense Chief General de Villiers has quit over defense cuts by Macron, to the tune of $980 billion – er, MILLION. I don’t think the French actually have $980 billion unless you count the wines they never sell.

    http://www.reuters.com/article/us-france-politics-defence-idUSKBN1A40KR?il=0

He did say (before it was removed) something about ‘Je sais quand j suis baisée, mais je ne suis pas le stupide’.  If I ever find that quote, I’ll post it. Some bird dog at Reuters removed it. Pfft.

However, he has been replaced with General Le Cointre:  http://www.reuters.com/article/us-france-politics-defence-appointment-idUSKBN1A410O?il=0

It seems that the stresses on the French military are plus que difficile for the Frogs. They’re not only partnering with allies (US, Jordan, etc.) in the Middle East, but they’re also being used on the home front against jihadis, assisting le gendarmerie, among other things. As this progresses, Macron may find himself in over his head. Tourism in France is a big deal. Threaten the Louvre and you just may be toast.

As it is, French Foreign Minister LeDrian is asking Qatar to stop funding terrorists and shut down the Al Jazeera network. http://www.reuters.com/article/us-gulf-qatar-france-idUSKBN1A00EI

However, the Qatari are refusing to do so, as well as denying that they have anything to do with funding terrorists. (Wasn’t there a computer system named Qatari?)

Meantime, Russia (Vlad Putin) is still quite annoyed that the US government will not release diplomatic properties it seized in December 2016 in New York and Maryland.

    http://www.reuters.com/article/us-russia-usa-sanctions-property-idUSKBN1A30H5

The Russian government says it is “ready to retaliate”, but did not define exactly how it intends to do so.

    I’d like to know more.

Will they cut off the flow of caviar? Advise the Bolshoi Ballet to avoid visits to the USA? Maybe stop those tourist runs along the Road of Bones to Irkutsk? Thank the Baba Yaga that vodka doesn’t spoil, eh?

Perhaps it would be more productive to ‘speak’ to Vlad about his deals with Norkiland for providing armored tracked vehicles to the waddling goofball psycho who runs that haunted country, and not do any more ‘deals’ with him until he stops building missiles.

If those missiles can reach Japan, they can also be built to reach Moscow, Vlad.  The only good snake is a dead snake.
