  • The KKK Protests The KKK, No, Really…

Two factions of the Ku Klux Klan are protesting against each other. The cause: Illegal Immigration. Ken Mier (oddly semitic name for a racist…) a investigator for the Alabama KKK said his group is opposed to the tactics of the National organization.

“We are opposed to the ignorance and stupidity as displayed by the individuals that thumbed their nose at the area churches by continuing to use racial slurs, threats and avoided Christian deportment,” he said.

Wait, what? A Klansman opposed to racial slurs? Does this guy not understand the history of his group?

  • Ralph Nader Sues the Democratic Party

Ralph “Unsafe at any speed” Nader is suing the Democratic Party, for trying to get John F (served in Vietnam) Kerry elected.

“The Democratic Party is going after anyone who presents a credible challenge to their monopoly over their perceived voters,” Nader said in a statement. “This lawsuit was filed to help advance a free and open electoral process for all candidates and voters. Candidate rights and voter rights nourish each other for more voices, choices, and a more open and competitive democracy.”

Among other things, the lawsuit alleges that the DNC tried to bankrupt Nader’s campaign by suing to keep him off the ballot in 18 states. It also suggests the DNC sent Kerry supporters to crash a Nader petition drive in Portland, Ore., in June 2004, preventing him from collecting enough signatures to get on the ballot.

It is really something when someone is too nuts to be a democrat…
    Breitbart/AP has the story

  • Kucinich Questions Bush’s Mental Health

No, really, Dennis (the menace) Kucinich has, as stated in this Breitbart/AP story, questioned President Bush’s mental health. Why? Because the president said, earlier this month, that a nuclear armed Iran would lead to World War Three.

“I seriously believe we have to start asking questions about his mental health,” Kucinich, an Ohio congressman, said in an interview with The Philadelphia Inquirer’s editorial board on Tuesday. “There’s something wrong. He does not seem to understand his words have real impact.”

A short refresher on Kucinich’s own mental health might be in order. Dennis, like Jerry Springer is a former Ohio mayor. He is a proponent of The Peace Alliance a group so stupid they don’t understand the purpose of the Department of Defense and want to disband it in favor of a Department of Peace and Nonviolence. An advocate of Banning ALL civilian hand gun ownership, he, naturally, used to carry a concealed weapon (see Diane Fienstien) Congressman Kucinich wants to ratify both the ABM Treaty and the Kyoto Protocol. According to his “dear friend”, and noted loon, Shirley MacLaine, had a UFO “experience” in Washington state. As part of his “Space Preservation Act”, which has failed in congress FOUR TIMES he wanted to ban MIND CONTROL. Melvin G. Holli, in consultation with a panel of experts, placed Kucinich among the ten worst big-city mayors of all time for reasons of temperament and performance in the book, Best and Worst of the Big-City Leaders 1820–1993.
I submit, that if anyone’s mental health should be questioned, it is Kucinich’s.

    Jonn added: A Kucinich quote borrowed from Sweetness and Light;

“The center has shifted in our politics. I’m really at the center. And all the other candidates are to the right of me.” – Mr. Kucinich, on “This Week with George Stephanopoulos,” ABC, August 12, 2007.

    The Hatemonger’s Quarterly reassures the President;

So, take it easy, President Bush: Dennis Kucinich calling you nuts is about as good a sign of your clean bill of mental health as anyone can muster.

  • Iraqi Catches Shark in River, US to Blame

Reuters reports Karim Thamir was fishing with his sons last week 160 miles from the coast when they saw a large fish thrashing in their net. Thamir said he recognized it as a shark, because he had seen them on TV. Shark Week to the rescue!

Dr. Mohamed Ajah, assistant dean of the college of science at Thi Qar University in Nassiriya, said barriers in river estuaries usually prevented sharks swimming upstream.

“In this case, I think this animal was there for a long time but no one had managed to see it,” he said.

Locals blamed the U.S. military for the shark’s presence.

Tahseen Ali, a teacher, said there was a “75 percent chance” Americans had put the shark in the water.

Now we’re wrangling sharks to ruin the fun of Iraqi children? Will there be no end to our evil?

  • LTG James Peake (US Army Retired) to Head Veteran’s Affairs

The Boston Globe reports that President Bush will appoint retired LTG James Peake to be the Secretary of Veteran’s Affairs. LTG James Peake US Army (Ret)
General Peake’s career started as a West Point cadet followed by a tour in Vietnam as an Infantry officer. Peake, who was awarded a Silver Star, a Bronze Star with “V” device and the Purple Heart with oak leaf cluster, attended medical school at Cornell and is a board certified thoracic surgeon, was also the Surgeon General of the US Army from 2000 to 2004.
Naturally, the Boston Globe and the AP took shots at President Bush and the War on Terror in the first paragraph of their article:

President Bush will nominate retired Army general James Peake on Tuesday to direct the Department of Veterans Affairs, which is strained by the influx of wounded troops returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.

  • Why Unions are BAD Part MCMLXI

The AP is reporting that if The Writers Guild of America goes on strike we will be subjected to more “Reality” shows such as “Flavor of Love,” “I Love New York” and “The Surreal Life.”
I remember Bill Clinton sticking his red nose in to stop Baseball from going on strike a few years ago, isn’t TV more watched than baseball? Should someone do something?

NO. Unless they were to disband unions altogether, they’d only make things worse.

Unions were fine, when they were actually needed. With today’s more intelligent and savvy populace they only serve to artificially cause higher prices.

  • The (Terrorist Sympathizing) Pot Calls the Kettle Black

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, has chided the UK for its handling of terrorism. King Abdullah said in a BBC interview, that the UK has not done enough to fight terrorism. What the Hell? The king of the country from which came FIFTEEN of the NINETEEN 9-11 hijackers saying someone else isn’t doing enough to fight terrorism? This guy needs to look at the madrases in his own back yard. King Abdullah also asserts that terrorism can be beaten in 20 to 30 years.

  • Hillary is the Scariest

In an AP/Ipsos poll reported by the Guardian Hillary Clinton leads by a staggering 23% over Guiliani and a mind blowing 31% over the rest of both the democrat and republican fields, beating out Obama, and Joe Friggin Biden when people were asked which presidential candidate would make the scariest Halloween costume.

Thirty-seven percent in an Associated Press-Ipsos survey this month chose the New York senator, the front-runner among Democratic presidential contenders. Fourteen percent selected former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who leads Republicans in national polls.

No other candidate exceeded 6 percent.

Yeah, buddy, she’s scared me for years…
