Mr Spencer asked me to clarify that once he discovered I was not a LGFer spoiling for a fight, he did in fact apologize. I would simply bump the post in question, but I have roughly as much technological aptitude as the next Amish person who’s never seen a computer, so hope this will suffice.
So, as I stated in that post:
[ADDENDUM: By way of an update, I was contacted by Mr. Spencer and he felt it would be more appropriate for me to clarify that he did in fact apologize during the emails for assuming I was a LGF’er trying to start a fight. The “slightly friendlier” portion of my original came about as a result of that apology. Mr. Spencer does seem like a good enough chap, and I guess I should have clarified that more, but the gist of the post wasn’t meant to imply that Mr. Spencer was “wrong” more that these fights don’t help us.]
