  1. Lived life well? I guess if you consider harassing people and putting them through costly lawsuits where the case will most likely be tossed by the judge anyway then sure, he did live life well. That no selling waste of space.

    1. Not to mention physically attacking a judge and dragging an innocent sailor (the late John R. Sheppard) through the mud by photoshopping his ugly mug on to Sheppard’s body and attempting to steal his photographs, attempting to sue a company because he failed to properly fuel his plane, attempting to skip out on paying child support, along with falsely claiming honors that he didn’t earn. Plus a whole slew of other crap that will take me too long to write. Screw this guy. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

    1. Except for the first few years he was licensed in CA, Bernasty couldn’t sue even if he caught an ambulance. He was never licensed in Oregon or any state other than CA where he lived. The Oregon state bar decided he was not “of good, moral character.” In fact, the CA state bar disbarred him in part for representing he was an Attorney at Law and filing lawsuits on behalf of others when he was not properly licensed or suspended.

      1. …. and stealing clients’ money.

“(A) He disobeyed a court order to pay child support.

“(B) He was suspended for over a year in the State of California for failure to pay child support.

“(C) He failed to inform the Board that he was suspended from the practice of law in the State of California and he lied to the Board about his suspension in California, stating that he was not suspended when he was in fact suspended.

“(D) He loaned money to a client, Tamara Varner (‘Varner’), and collected on the loan from settlement proceeds from Varner’s lawsuit without Varner’s knowledge or agreement.

“(E) He signed Varner’s name to a release without Varner’s knowledge and without advising the opposing party or counsel for the opposing party that he was signing the release on behalf of Varner.   On that same release he signed as a witness, attesting to the authenticity of Varner’s signature.

“(F) He lied by omission to the Board when he told it that he did not notarize the Varner settlement document.

“(G) He endorsed Varner’s name to the settlement check without Varner’s knowledge and without advising the bank that he was doing so.

“(H) He retained all of the proceeds of the settlement without Varner’s knowledge or agreement.

“(I) He failed to respond to a notice from the Committee on Arbitration of the Los Angeles County Bar Association that Varner was disputing his fee and that there would be an arbitration of the dispute.   He also failed to appear at the hearing.

“(J) He failed to advise the Board of the fee dispute or the award in favor of Varner and against him in the amount of $10,000.

“(K) He wrote a letter to Varner after entry of the award against him wherein he misrepresented the law and threatened to sue her if she did not agree to settle with him for $500.

“(L) He destroyed all of his files for all of the cases he handled in California.

“(M) A judgment was entered in California against him in the amount of $34,000 for malicious prosecution.

“(N) He lied by omission to the Board when in his application for admission he stated that the judgment for malicious prosecution was reversed, but did not state that it was reversed by stipulation of the parties rather than on the merits.

“(O) He failed to inform the Board about a lawsuit to which he was a party and which settled in applicant’s favor for the amount of approximately $41,000.00.

“(P) On May 16, 1997, he issued subpoenas on which he holds himself out to be an attorney practicing in Oregon.

“(Q) Applicant failed to inform the Board about a lawsuit in which applicant was a plaintiff in an attorney fee dispute.

“(R) Applicant failed to inform the Board that a motion for sanctions was made against him for appearing at a deposition while carrying a concealed weapon and that a sanction was assessed against him in the amount of $750.”

        1. I miss. spoke
It was a school bus chasing pedaphile
The world is a better place now
I remember the shit he and DalAss use to pull on here
I do believe he had like ten accounts of FB I had to block a
New one every week threatening me my GF now wife
on and on I’ll never forget
I missed the really crazy shit that jonn and a few other people
          Went through

        2. If I remember correctly, that was just from the Oregon State Bar’s refusal to admit him!

  2. Bernath was the prime suspect in the drugging, rape and production of child pornography involving a young girl and a crack whore.

Crack whore was arrested and prosecuted however could not identify Bernath. Young Girl was too drugged to identify Bernath.

AUSA in Long Beach, CA refused to arrest and attempt prosecution even though Bernath was positively identified by former wives … very specific moles!

Bernath’s deeds were known to me, others and Le for years … Positive ID of Bernath was made in England by his first wife. The first wife essentially said, yeah that is him and told much more.

I suspect, while Bernath was incarcerated and complete physical was conducted … he knew his day of reckoning was soon.

The following agencies worked the case:

    DHS
    HSI
    ICE
    NYPD
    Scotland Yard
    Interpol
    FBI
Various Child Exploitation Tasks Forces in OR, CA and FL.

      1. CK at least now we know for sure where his skeleton is hiding and he is no longer a threat to innocent children, dogs, and pine trees.

          1. Are you saying,

            (Puts on sunglasses)

he was light in the lofters?

            (YeeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhhhOver)

    1. Shocked face.

No, really, considering the accusations he projected onto everyone else in that realm, is it really any surprise?

I know in his debacle of a lawsuit he accused at least a half dozen people (including me) of such. Why he was never held to account for those statements, I’ll never know.

      1. The porn he accused others of doing and “documented” meant that he accessed a lot of porn. Sane, normal folks wouldn’t even know where to start looking for the sort of vile things he posted. Yuck.

We can only hope and pray that he is the worst we will encounter. And that he is the worst of those valor thieves we have long suspected of also being pedos.

Many LE’s across the country have observed the same thing we have – a disproportionately high number of valor thieves have inappropriate/illegal aspirations with children. Guess it makes some sort of perverted sense when you realize that their claims give them access to children in schools, hospital, parades and such.

      2. He has since been called to account by the Divine Judge of the Universe, and given his proper Judgement.

    2. Something told me that the life of Daniel Bernath was darker than just Stolen Valor… the Oregon Supreme Court ruling on his application to practice law was just the tip of the proverbial iceberg.

I wonder how his DRG “brothers” feel about this now?

MCPO NYC USN Ret. – have his children and last wife been told of his involvement in this crime?

    3. Well, with all that going on in his life, maybe it was a case of “self-murder” rather than incompetent piloting.

    4. Wow. Catching up after a few days of being out.
      I must say.
What. The. Flying. (HA!) Monkey. Fucking. Fuck??!?!?!
      Wow. just, WOW.

      1. We’ve been having a large time in your absence. You may want to spend the next little while playing catch-up.

        (((OVER)))

  3. I along with others developed the information that led to evidence and we became cooperating and material witnesses.

The frenzy at TAH regarding Bernath concerned and alarmed LE so much it actually impacted their ability to bring case to close.

This is a cautionary tale for any of Bernath’s friends and associates …

    1. Hey Master Chief! Glad to finally hear from you — you had been saying “more to come” … and I waited and waited.

Is your above post an executive summary of a more complete report? Will there be more to come?

Many thanks!! Hope to buy you a Guiness some day.

    1. the one with the monkeys reminds me of what any visiting ETs probably think. No intelligent life here… curious, but not intelligent.

    2. See, this is what I mean by keeping at least in visual range of the topic at hand. Drones smacked from the sky by chimps, if you tilt your head and squint, can come sorta close to Bernath playing through on a golf course in Florida to crash and burn.

The cute young lady in the bikini is just bonus.

      This isn’t difficult, people.

      ((Over))

  4. All of you people posting on this thread need to end your comments with “((Over))”, ((Over)).

      1. Daniel Bernath’s favorite Jefferson Starship song was “It’s Not Over ‘Til It’s Over”, ((Over)).

        1. “It ain’t over til it’s over! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell No! Who’s with me?” (((over)))

  5. Once more, with feeling:
There once was a lawer named Dan,
Who got himself thrown in the can,
    He was finally let out,
    And went flying about,
And that’s when the shit hit the fan!

    *Rustle Rustle, Motherfucker*
    (OUT!)

    1. Here, I Shakespeared it up for ya:

      Once m’re, with humour:
      th’re once wast a law’r nam’d dan,
who is’t did get himself thrown in the can,
that gent wast finally alloweth out,
      and wenteth flying about,
and that’s at which hour the the horror hitteth the fan!

      *rustle rustle, moth’rfuck’r*

      ((((OVER))))

  6. It’s only 13:30 here in the Eastern timezone, too early for a celebratory drink (?) but after the duty day ITS ON!

    1. It’s a pity that Bernath didn’t drink a Red Bull before leaving the flight line, Hack Stone has it on good authority that that shit would give you wings.

    2. Sorry for the accidental report!

Sexton Irish single malt it is. Good stuff for the price especially since it is a sherry cask whisky.

      1. Ive had! Pretty good for an Irish… the chalky, wood finish is unique. Sweet, fruity without being floral or overpowering. It almost wants to be dark but it’s somehow light also.
        I recommend.

        1. Yep. I had a couple of drams last night. I enjoyed it. I’m curious to see if they’re holding any back to produce an older expression like a 6, 8, or 10 year old. This whisky would be a true delight with a couple more years in sherry casks; it’s surprisingly good for such a young whisky (4 years old).

          1. I thought young meant “we took time to bottle it” and aged meant “we took the long way into town.” Live and learn…

      2. Good news for yours truly, they didn’t find anything in the colonoscopy today and this, I’ll have some Bulleit Bourbon on the rocks!

        1. Nothing like vitamin w after that procedure! The prep is 12 hours of hell and then some.
          Congrats API!

(Hopefully the doc doesn’t call about his missing watch!)

          1. The prep was a pain in the ass as well as having to take a “shot in the pot” a final few times before the anesthesia…

            1. First time I had a colonoscopy, I actually managed to make it home before “the release.”

I swear that fart lasted 2 minutes and left my ass cheeks windburned. Even the dog was looking at me like, “Damn, take that shit outside, at least!”

  7. Psalm 37:7-15 –
    “Rest in the LORD and wait patiently for Him;
Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way,
Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes.
    Cease from anger and forsake wrath;
Do not fret; it leads only to evildoing.
For evildoers will be cut off,
But those who wait for the LORD, they will inherit the land.
    Yet a little while and the wicked man will be no more;
And you will look carefully for his place and he will not be there.
But the humble will inherit the land
And will delight themselves in abundant prosperity.
The wicked plots against the righteous
And gnashes at him with his teeth.
    The Lord laughs at him,
For He sees his day is coming.
The wicked have drawn the sword and bent their bow
To cast down the afflicted and the needy,
To slay those who are upright in conduct.
Their sword will enter their own heart,
And their bows will be broken.”

Daniel Bernath has found this out first-hand.

  8. Some say that you’re not appreciated until you’re dead. In Bernath’s case I and many others appreciate that he IS dead.

    Modern English or Shakespearean?

There once was a fool named Bernath
A lot of malevolence he hath
    Many times he did sue
    to which he did rue
    because every time he lost
he flew like a bad rash
    until he did crash
and at last he sues no more

    Th’re once wast a blinking idiot nam’d b’rnath
a lot of malevolence that gent hath
many times that gent dis sue
to which that gent didst rue
because ev’ry timeth that gent hath lost
that gent did fly liketh a lacking valor rash
    until that gent didst crasheth
and at lasteth that gent sues nay m’re

  9. Do you know why Daniel Bernath never bothered to make lodging arrangements while traveling? Because he knew that he could always find a place to crash.

  10. At 5:01 pm I am going to pour a double shot of single malt into my Old Man’s Club glass from RangerUp and drink a toast to the Human Lawn Dart and his inimitable flying skilz, cuz the latter finally put an end to his vexatious litigant antics.

    1. See my comment above regarding a nice, inexpensive Irish single malt that I picked up. I’m sure the Master Chief will approve. Definitely going to have a wee dram. Unfortunately, I’m handling some business away from home so I don’t have my Glencairn or a nice tumbler. I’m making do with a $0.96 glass I picked up at Walmart yesterday.

      1. I remember the good old days as a Road Warrior when even a mid range priced hotel/motel had those nice heavy duty glass tumblers in every room. King Rooms had 2 and double rooms had 4. And there was plenty of ice right down the hall. Guess they all have plastic or paper cups now.

        1. (((over))) Damnit. Got in a hurry to go pour me another shot of that Southern Crown. Cold down here. (((over)))

          1. Ice for the coldbeer Pappy. You should know me better than to think that I would ruin good sipping whiskey by prostituting it with ice. What did you take me for Air Farce? (((over)))

            1. Watch it now, KOB. I was once a Zoomie. A Prime BEEF Engineer, but a Zoomie nonetheless. 🙃

              1. My deepest sympathies Pappy, had forgotten about that skeleton in your closet. Damn shame all those impact ranges got turned into golf courses. Older brother was a wing wiper. Bless his heart.

  11. He made an impression everywhere he went.

For example, the pallet of potting soil in the BiMart parking lot: https://pamplinmedia.com/component/content/article?id=71559

The pasture adjacent to Sisters Airport: https://www.oregonlive.com/pacific-northwest-news/2013/09/tigard_pilot_uninjured_in_plan.html

Of course the place where he left the best impression, the swampland next to the golf course in Bonita Springs: https://www.fox4now.com/news/local-news/victim-of-fatal-bonita-springs-plane-crash-identified

So I raise my glass in a toast and quote the words of Hawkeye Pierce – “Goodbye ferret face” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9B7ICnzjSt0

    1. Any word on his lawsuit against Sisters Eagle Airport? Bernath claimed if they built the airport 200 yards to the east, he would have made it.

        1. To actually win a lawsuit one has to try a lawsuit, unless the opposing party gives up or the court grant a dispositive motion (like one for summary judgment). I seriously doubt ol’ Bernasty had the ability to conduct a civil trial, let alone win one.

  12. So I and I’m sure many others wonder if it was intentional, incompetent piloting or the result of halfassed Aircraft repairs that others told him he really needed to have a Professional do for him?

    1. Proud, embrace the power of “and”. Those pilot forums provide a lot of insight into his arrogance, ignorance, and dismissive attitude towards anyone who tried to steer him away from the course he was on. This turd was a waste of life.

      1. Yeah, I read a few of those where he got his ass handed to him AND they had a post or two on him, namely when he was seeking cohorts on his first airplane lawsuit.
He was indeed a waste of flesh and oxygen and ditto with the rest of The Dutch Rudder Gang.

        ((((OVER))))

    2. With his prior instance of running out of fuel, maintenance issues and his past/present/future legal trouble he probably decided he wanted to go out famously and set a record for largest lawn dart. Go BIG! or Go Home as they say.
      ((((OVER)))) and ((((OUT))))

      1. We will never know what Bernutz had on his mind when he took off on that flight. We only know what was on his mind when he hit the ground—his ass.

        (((Over)))

        1. He was not qualified to fly and he knew his future … any self absorbed sociopath would have flown that plane into the ground …. pity is no one got to gut him in prison.

  13. For all the onlookers … those of us who took him to task will at our will comment as appropriate. As we spent many resources…. unknown to most.

BERNATH WAS AN ABHORRENT HUMAN BEING.

The manner of his death was a cowardly act as he knew ….

A few guys figured him out!

    May he rest in pieces.

    1. My hat will always be off to you and everyone else who took him to task at what he had done to people.

      1. HooYah!

And as Bernath said to ME, “you have to say ‘OVER’ after I speak” …

I will say this … “rot in hell Daniel A. Bernath a suspected child rapist and confirmed child pornographer … someone who got way with a life sentence that would have lasted only a few months”.

FUCK YOU …. I OWN YOUR DEATH!

    1. Q: How do you know that Daniel Bernath has been in your refrigerator?

A: The National Transportation Safety Board is removing a Flight Design airplane from your vegetable crisper.

    1. He sure did. And hilarity ensued. Bernath escaped the onslaught by peddling away on his bicycle. (He really did). Fortunately, Bernath was cool calm and collected enough to put on his bicycle helmet before pedaling away. Ironic that if he was wearing that helmet two years ago, he may have survived to file another frivolous lawsuit.

      1. I thought so but got confused as some said he lived in California and I thought Don went to see him in Florida…

            1. It seems that Bernath wasn’t even fit to sell outdated software to the US Government via a certain Woman-owned Company based in Maryland!
