This is too good to pass unnoticed.

From the article: WTOP-FM reports Charles Lawson of Pineville, Kentucky, was arrested and charged with unlawfully possessing a firearm after previously having been committed to a mental institution.

Police searched his car and found a loaded 12-gauge shotgun, an 18-inch machete, shotgun shells and a bottle of Jim Beam bourbon. – article

  1. And the brainless pols will call for still more Laws to disarm Law-Abiding people. How many Laws currently in effect were violated?

    1. The fact he had Jim Beam and not a decent bourbon whiskey should in-itself be a punishable offense.

  2. Sir, I’m reporting for “liberty business” with my friend Jimmy Beam. Our buddies Jack Daniels and Johnny Walker are enroute. Just tell us which sector you need us to be guardin’.

    1. Maybe he was planning on drinking alone… You know…with nobody else.

      Huh? What da say?

  3. Sounds like a typical Pentagon staff officer checking in for another day in the puzzle palace.
Lord knows a shotgun, machete and a bottle of Jim Beam would’ve made some of the meeting I had to sit through a lot more ‘interesting’.

“Well Sir, that’s a unique perspective. Why don’t we see what Mr. Wincester and Mr. Beam have to say?”

  4. Canadian Club, my friends. Sure, I get strange looks from younger bartenders when ordering (“Yeah, we have it, we heep a bottle around for old dudes”). But I say, all the taste of Crown Royal with the high price.
