Donald Trump Mocks Global Warming Alarmists with Record Cold Temperatures

President Donald Trump ridiculed the environmentalist left on Wednesday by pointing out record cold temperatures.
By Charlie Spiering

“Brutal and Extended Cold Blast could shatter ALL RECORDS,” he wrote on Twitter. “Whatever happened to Global Warming?”

“Forecasts predicted bitter cold conditions in New York City, with 10-20 degree weather and 15-20 mph winds. Washington, DC is also expected to suffer lower than normal temperatures of 20 degrees.”

“The lower than normal temperatures are the result of an area of high pressure in the Arctic Circle, sending a blast of cold air south, according to meteorologists.”

Record cold in NYC for he Macy’s Day Parade.

The temperature dipped to 20 degrees just before the 9 a.m. EST start, breaking the previous record low for the event of 21 degrees, marked in 1930, 1938 and 1972 according to USA Today.

  1. You know the temps are really low when the thermometer goes down to zero point dip shit. Of course the alarmists will tell you that even though it’s cold today up north, it’s in the low 80’s down in Florida today so it must be caused by global warming.

    1. Gulley Vern…whut’s all that global warming doing on the white house lawn? Haven’t heard much from big mouth, little brain Gore lately have we LOL…wadda buffoon! imo

  2. I know the temptation to use weather events to mock the global warming fanatics is irresistible, I have done it myself, writing pieces on Al Gore and his snowed-in global warming conferences. But when we do this, we are making the same mistake they do, that is, using current weather as proof of trends that occur over tens of thousands of years.

Still, I understand the simply insuppressible urge to twist those climate fools’ cold noses, especially when one has the bulliest of bully pulpits and a Twitter account.

    Happy Thanksgiving all.

And any of you global warmers lurking here, stay warm…

    1. Every time there is drought or a warm spell they use it, so why not use do the same and use weather against climate?

I am way past the proverbial moral high ground.

These people are evil and want to destroy our future with socialism and collectivism. They want to condemn my kids to a future of poverty and artificial scarcity.

I say let’s fight fire with fire, and turn their own arguments on themselves.

      Where is my beer?

    2. …when we do this, we are making the same mistake they do, that is, using current weather as proof of trends that occur over tens of thousands of years.

You’re right, Poe, but it’s still amusing to watch them shake their tiny fists in anger before they seize a “teaching moment” to prove with geometric logic that all lifeforms on earth will be gone by 2100 unless we humans go hungry, cold, and in the dark.

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlV3oQ3pLA0

      1. -some- humans will go cold and hungry.

        Not the masters, of course.

Never do -they- make the sacrifices required. No, never.

    3. Nothing wrong with giving them a dose of their own medicine, Poe. While I understand that two wrongs don’t make a right, I really don’t think it applies here, at least for most of us. When they make their ridiculous statements, they are being sincere in espousing their religiously held beliefs. When most of us turn it around on them, point and laugh at their willful ignorance, we know that today’s weather is meaningless as proof of anything other than what the weather is today.

Besides, it just plain fun to watch them use the weather to prove “climate change” no matter whether it is unusually warm or cold, or simply normal conditions.

    4. Well, Poe, I think what we really need to make clear is that the enviro-terrorists and Algore-sycopants argue for anthropocentric global warming, as if we puny humans actually can control this weather.

That and the fact that they were telling us that snowfalls in the north are “a thing of the past.” The repeated forecasts have been proven wrong, just like the witchdoctors of yore, and yet they still claim that this-or-that specific event proves that we are in a crisis.
If that is acceptable evidence for them, then a counter-instance is equally acceptable counter-evidence – even if we sane thinkers realize it is all irrelevant to what the climate is really doing.

      1. A similar bunch were worried about “nuclear winter”. Turns out they exaggerated slightly.

But if we can do that, we can solve global warming in a noisy afternoon.

        Ick.

But I do remember some ” Terraform Earth” articles as a child, that called for spreading readily available coal ash on icecap edges to hasten melting in the event of ice age return, or vaporizing the ash into the stratosphere to increase ice growth. Dumping a ton or three out of every airliner was one idea to cool Earth.

Not sure there is a government anywhere I would trust with the job, but we can do the engineering.

The problem is that no one has proved, as in repeatable experiments, how the interactions -actually- work. All we have is models that do a lousy job of looking forward, and multi-layer assumptions.

      2. I think that meddling with a self-sustaining system like Earth’s is dumb to start with, and uniformed at its best. The arrogance is what gets notice from me.

The “climate gurus” are much less reliable than psychics. Psychics can get a lot of info out of you and use that to “foresee” the future. Those know-it-all climate twits? They can’t even get an accurate weather forecast for more than two days ahead, and sometimes not even that far.
They have no real connection to the real world, which is full of physical signs of activity. They only look at charts and graphs, and those are altered to suit politics.

So this WEATHER even that we’re facing up here in my kingdom was at first, on Thursday, supposed to be rain on Sunday morning with a possible 1 to 3 inch snowfall overnight into Monday.

Then Thursday evening came, and rain was included for Saturday. Then Friday comes up and we get “rain on Saturday and Sunday morning, with 3 to 6 inches of snow on Sunday evening”.

That abruptly changed this morning, when it became rain and falling temps on Saturday, with cold on Sunday and snow starting Sunday afternoon, with 6 to 12 inches, overnight, with blizzard conditions.

They can’t even make an accurate weather forecast, and I’m supposed to believe that they can do something to control which way the climate will go??? Seriously????

Okay. And I have a brand-new Model A Ford I’d like to sell you, hot off the assembly line.

  3. When you see a trend over a decade long toward early winter events like sleet and snow, and daily temperatures below “average” and continuing to be below average, even if not by much, then it may be a decadal weather trend, or it may be something else.

I’m just glad I keep track of this kind of thing. Hard data outweigh politics and pseudo-religious arguments.

    1. Ex, based on past glaciation cycles and time since the last advance of Arctic ice, I’m inclined to believe that it’s far more reasonable to think that we’re headed into global cooling and eventual re-glaciation.

      1. We’re in a solar minimum now, and have been since 2006. Spotless Sun means lower solar activity, except for EMPs and the small magnetic storms called maculae on the solar surface.

I think we’re in more trouble than the CAGWers can possibly realize, but they’ll starve before you and I do.

  4. Global warming is about CLIMATE not temperature on a given day.

With global warming it is the AVERAGE termperature over time that is rising. Meanwhile daily temperatures can flactuate. In fact wild fluctuations are part of the pattern of warming in some areas.

As the global average temperatures rise long stable global weather patterns begin to become unstable. For instance the Polar Vortex is weakening due to higher average temperatures wish leads to LONGER and HASRSHER winters in some areas.

Ordinarily the strength of the Polar Vortex allows colder air to move into temperate areas closer to the equator. As the Polar Vortex weakens the temperant areas maintain higher average temperatures and the colder air remains in northern regions longer causing longer and colder winters in the north…

all the while GLOBAL AVERAGE temperatures trend higher.

Additionally, the higher average temperatures means more energy in our atmoshere leading to more severe and destructive storms… IN BOTH THE SUMMER AND THE WINTER.

You all smugly act like you have some secret understanding of the climate that leads you all to ARROGANTLY deny the SETTLED science that global average temperatures are rising.

The U.S. republican party is the LAST major political party in the WORLD that still denies climate change.

You are being manipulated into denying science for the sake of a POLITICAl and ECONOMIC agenda.

If you want to act like the question of man-made climate change is not a settled matter then fine. You would be wrong but at least you are closing the gap between your delusional worldviews and reality.

However, the question of whether climate change is real is absolutely a settled matter.

    1. Who “settled” it? How did they “settle” it? Who determined that whoever “settled” the question was right? Would those who deem the question “settled” have a horse in that race, are they benefiting, either in the admiration of their buttboys in the AGW cabal, or their wallet, by going along to get along?
By the way, the only “arrogance” so far shown on the possibility of global warming climate change is that displayed by assholes like you, who deign to bless us deplorables with your knowledge. Meanwhile, why don’t you just ESAD?

    2. Apparently, the Consensus is that you are actually our unlamentedly absent Zampolit.

You certainly do the proggies proud, deliberately blurring your opponents disbelief in -anthropomorphic- climate change versus their actual belief in -natural- climate change.

As I have commented elsewhere, earth’s climate has varied tremendously over time, with occasional periods of relative stability cycling around a particular point, then rapidly shifting to a different set-point. Those averages have been anywhere from “tropics at the poles” to “ice-sheets near or at the equator”, and variations in between.

Long before SUVs, we had climate variability.

So spare us your lectures that amount to “we are all gonna die unless we go Proggie/collectivist/Marxist”

Socialism, including proggies, killed more people than all the CO2 we will ever emit, you child of Lysenko.

Your “impotent rage” act is unpersuasive. Why not go virtue-signal on DU?

    3. Funny, people who disagree with climate change caused by man are denying science. But people who claim there are 67 different genders are perfectly reasonable to disagree with biology?

Some facts that are used to support climate change mean anyone who disagrees doesn’t care about the facts. But, when you say that gun violence statistics show a decrease in violent crime, gun crime, etc., it means you want children to be killed by guns because you don’t care and you’re selectively using facts to support your own claims?

      1. How about that latest progtard meme that it is against “science” to say men have penises and women have vaginas/uteruses. They truly do reside in another un-reality.

    4. “You all smugly act like you have some secret understanding of the climate”

Well, yes. I understand that temperature DIFFERENCES cause weather, not averages. The worst storms in the solar system are on Jupiter, which should be pretty placid if nasty weather is caused by heat.

I understand that the sun is the source of the vast majority of that heat energy you are worrying so much about, and variations in solar activity have a major effect on long-term climate, and even on short-term weather.

I also understand a bit about systems of partial differential equations and dynamic systems (and their complexity), which are, or should be, the basis of any serious weather or climate modeling.

I also understand a bit of statistical analysis and probability, and confidence intervals. And what constitutes a reliable sample.

No #1, nobody here or in the Republican party denies that the climate changes. What we/they deny is that man-made climate change is a significant contributor to that ~1 degree C. temperature rise, or that it is cause for hysteria and panic.

No #2, the science is NOT settled. I am reminded of Carl Sagan and the “nuclear winter” circus. When someone finally got around to examining his model it turned out to be garbage. The data and model(s) used by the climate fear-mongers is finally being examined, and the result will be the same.

      “You are being manipulated…”

Horseshit. But if it makes you feel superior, go for it, I guess.

    5. Commissar: Global warming is about CLIMATE not temperature on a given day.

You fell for President Trump’s trap hook, line, and sinker. I’ve been tracking global weather for over a decade. I lost count of how many times the warmists pointed to a single summer event, as “evidence” of “man-made global warming”. They’re willing to forget that climate is about long-range weather over a period of time when it comes to warming events. But, when it comes to cooling events, they act like hypocrites.

More often than not, temperatures have been declining marked per month. Yet, those on the left would ignore that “more often”, and zero in on the “least often”. Then, there were data later and argue as if that is the main trend. It isn’t.

Commissar: With global warming it is the AVERAGE termperature over time that is rising.

False. Again, I been tracking global weather for over a decade. The overall trend has been a downward trend, not an upward trend. Average global temperatures flatlined at the beginning of the century, and are now on decline. This isn’t just the time that I have been tracking whether. When you just take raw temperature data, and take the average of that across the past few decades, you would find an average decline over the past eight decades.

Commissar: Meanwhile daily temperatures can flactuate.

Temperatures are always fluctuating. It so happens that when you look at average global temperatures this decade, The Century, as well as from the last century, you would see a downward trend since the peak in the 1930s. In fact, the hottest summer on record took place in the 1930s, not in the 1990s or any year that century or this one. It got so hot in 1936, that even the southern Canadians were suffering triple digit temperatures.

Commissar: In fact wild fluctuations are part of the pattern of warming in some areas.

Actually, wild temperature fluctuations are part of a mini Ice Age, as well as during glaciation periods. One reason for this is that the polar air mass has grown larger. As such, the edge of the polar air masses would dip further south, and Prest further north. Hence, it could be colder in Mexico than in southern Canada at times because of this phenomenon.

A big reason to why the polar air masses larger is because it is colder on the Arctic, and Antarctic.

Commissar: As the global average temperatures rise long stable global weather patterns begin to become unstable.

Again, false. Unstable weather patterns are more common during mini ice ages, as well as during glaciation periods. This also coincides with increased volcanic and earthquake activity. This is influenced by the sun, not by human activity. The sun, via electromagnetic activity, as well as via its influence on the atmosphere and on the oceans, drive global climate. Based on historic trends, the sun’s current behavior is pointing to cooler years ahead of us.

Commissar: For instance the Polar Vortex is weakening due to higher average temperatures wish leads to LONGER and HASRSHER winters in some areas.

Baloney. The polar vortex is actually getting stronger. In fact, we’ve been getting the summer versions of the polar vortex this decade. When I started tracking global weather, the Jetstream generally stayed north of the US Canadian border during the summer. Not so today. The Jetstream pushes for the South, and brings cooler than normal air with it, during the summer.

As a result, our summers are actually getting weaker. Over the past decade, ski resorts have been opening earlier, and remaining open longer. Winter has begun earlier, and has stuck around a lot later.

Longer and harsher winters are a symptom of average global temperatures going down, not a symptom of average global temperatures going up.

Commissar: Ordinarily the strength of the Polar Vortex allows colder air to move into temperate areas closer to the equator. As the Polar Vortex weakens the temperant areas maintain higher average temperatures and the colder air remains in northern regions longer causing longer and colder winters in the north…

Which is the opposite to what has been happening lately. Again, towards the end of last decade, and frequently since then, the polar air mass has been pushing further South during the summer. Something that it normally doesn’t do unless it’s winter. Not only has it been colder and harsher north, it has been colder and harsher further south than normal. More frequently than not, winter like events have been occurring during the summer in areas that don’t normally get winter like events.

A look at the raw average shows that temperatures have not been going up. Granted, claims that they have been going up are based on raw data that have been averaged up.

      1. I’m curious about something. I saw this word: flactuate.

I’ve never seen that used before. Is it a new variant of flatulence that hasn’t entered the popular slang vocab just yet?
Or is it a reference to some sort of digestive upbubblr?
Or could it be that squidchipsquishblob has gone completely ’round the bend and left his marbles behind?

        Just askin’.

        1. “Flactuate” is a fart that varies in pitch, timbre, and volume. It’s actually a compound word, derived from “flatulence” and “fluctuate”. As in: “Damn, did you hear that guy flactuate? It was positively melodious!”

    6. Commissar: all the while GLOBAL AVERAGE temperatures trend higher.

False. If you take average global temperatures, based on raw data, the long-term trend is a downward trend. Not an upward trend. In fact, I been tracking a couple websites that show global temperature events. Ever since I started tracking these websites, I’ve noticed that colder air masses have been advancing further south a lot earlier in the year, sticking around a lot longer, and have been pushing further south later during the spring. I’ve also noticed a downward trend with regards to temperatures.

Commissar: Additionally, the higher average temperatures means more energy in our atmoshere leading to more severe and destructive storms… IN BOTH THE SUMMER AND THE WINTER.

This stems from the fact that there is a larger temperature difference between two meeting air masses. Temperatures have been declining. Both the north, and the south poles, have been getting colder. Hence, the temperature differences between these air masses, and the ones that they displace as they transit towards the equator, gets larger. The larger the temperature differences, the more violent and destructive storms.

I’ve been stating this simple fact over the past few years, and using it to accurately predict which way our winters were trend. I’ve been accurate every year. None of my predictions would’ve came to had average global temperatures the going up rather than down.

Commissar: You all smugly act like you have some secret understanding of the climate that leads you all to ARROGANTLY deny the SETTLED science that global average temperatures are rising.

First, you are projecting your own traits onto us.

Second, again, I have been tracking global weather over the past 11 years. Not only have I been tracking this, I’ve been reading/studying climate related studies and articles. The cold hard facts do not support “man-made global warming”. Likewise, the cold hard facts do not support the argument that the world’s temperatures have been going up.

Third, you have consistently refused to prove that this science is “settled”. The closest that those on your side of this argument could come, to this argument, is the so-called 97% consensus. I downloaded the paper that people are basing that argument on. If you read that study, you would realize that there is no consensus. You would also realize that the science is not settled. The scientists, in question, did not even get together to have a discussion that would lead them to a consensus. That is not how science works.

Fourth, I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. Average temperatures aren’t going up. They’re going down. Historic trends do not lie. Every time the sun enters a solar grand minimum, like the one that it is in now, we ended up in a mini ice age. We are in the beginning of a mini ice age. Temperatures are going to keep trending downward, not upward.

Commissar: The U.S. republican party is the LAST major political party in the WORLD that still denies climate change.

False. The US republican party rejects man-made global warming, and it rejects the notion that there is a “consensus” on man-made global warming. Let’s be honest here, Major. Whenever the Democrats/socialists argue “climate change”, they are really arguing man-made global warming.

Commissar: You are being manipulated into denying science for the sake of a POLITICAl and ECONOMIC agenda.

False. First, our embracing the facts regarding climate change, and our rejection of “man-made global warming”, is based on fact, based on real science.

Second, our rejecting man-made global warming, which is not supported by scientific data, does not make us “climate deniers”. It makes us climate realists.

The only side with a political, and economic, agenda, is the side pushing for man-made global warming, and the need to “combat it”. It is a way to give more power to international organizations to redistribute resources and funding from rich countries to the poor countries.

Guarantee, if we do what the Democrats/socialists want us to do, with regards to “combating man-made global warming”, the only thing we would accomplish is setting ourselves up for the kill… Literally.

During the European deep freeze of 2012, which occurred in February and March of that year, the Europeans came close to having rolling blackouts. Many of their windmills froze, and became inoperable. Their solar panels were not getting as much sun to generate energy. It was up to good old “fossil fuels” to save the day. However, the Europeans were much further ahead of us, with regards to what our Democrats want us to do, that the Europeans were pushing the power grid to the limit. Governments had to force their people to ration their energy use.

There is an economic, and political, agenda behind man-made global warming. Not behind the disagreement against man-made global warming.

Commissar: If you want to act like the question of man-made climate change is not a settled matter then fine.

There is no “acting like this”. Real science does not support man-made global warming. Likewise, real science does not operate on a “consensus” on a matter that is not really settled. A growing number of scientists are arguing, based on the current scientific data, on historic trend, and based on how the sun is behaving, that we are facing a cooling trend ahead of us. Not a warning one.

Commissar: You would be wrong but at least you are closing the gap between your delusional worldviews and reality.

Actually, those who believe in man-made global warming are the ones who are delusional. Not only are they delusional, they are gullible. There is no consensus regarding man-made global warming. The so-called “consensus” was based on a minority percent of papers, downloaded for study, that voiced an opinion on man-made global warming. That minority percent does not make a scientific consensus among the scientific community.

Commissar: However, the question of whether climate change is real is absolutely a settled matter.

Again, you need to go to the study that claimed that this science was “settled”. It’s not settled. That “consensus” is based on a paper that is not considered “outdated”. But, even if you read through the paper, you would realize that anybody with simple understanding of arithmetic, and percentages, would know for fact that there was no consensus at all.

      1. All this glob all wurming is BULLSHYT! It was developed by the gore and the NWO to con people into letting them control all energy….then they would have the people by the gonads! They could control all heat and air in summer and winter and control the processing of food stuffs…all this other crap is smoke screen! imho

    7. *YAWN*, you poodle turd-brained TARDOs have always screeched that Mankind only has about 5-10 years left until the next climactic apocalypse! When I was a kid in the 70’s it was the upcoming man made Ice Age brought on by sunlight being blocked by hydrocarbon emissions and in the mid to late eighties your crowd was saying that Earth would be largely uninhabitable by the year 2000 due to the loss of the Ozone Layer, deforestation, acid rain and climate change. Today in the Continental US we not only have cleaner water and air (except in California where neglect of the forests have resulted in mega-fires), but there is more forested acreage today in CONUS than there was in the 1920s and 30’s. Where do we hear about acid rain and Ozone Layer loss anymore? It’s truth, so sit and spin on it! If I were you, I’d demand a tuition refund from UC Berzerkely because what they did is little more than brainwash you with liberal crap!

      1. Oh and P.S., the great big huge Zika Virus Apocalypse you were screeching and shitting yourself about never happened either.

      2. Yeah, but, API, those migrants are carrying dengue fever and chikungunya as well. We should all be appalled… or something.

    8. Fuck you and your commie/socialist/SJW bullshit, Commissar. Go spew your manifesto over at DU or the Daily Kos.

  5. I am willing to bet that the percentage of flat earther conspiracy theorists that frequent this board is much higher than you would find from a random sample of U.S. citizens, or even U.S. veterans.

There is a persistent and systemic, even pathological, obsession with creating your own reality on this blog.

Then several jump onto the comment to virtue signal how much they agree and are ideologically pure and loyal to the LIMITED ideological scope of the community here.

Anyone that disagrees becomes a chewtoy.

    1. Bingo. The use of the term “this board” is almost certain proof that Cthulhu is actually Commissar.

Welcome back, Lars. Are you still taking the same meds?

      1. Whoa. Good catch, Perry. No wonder that MFer wasn’t responding to my comments. The POS. MFer needs his ass barred…yesterday.

        1. He wasn’t responding to mine either. Hammer him with the facts, and with an argument that he can’t withstand, and he’ll avoid you. Suspected him as Commissar as soon as I saw his Cthulhu posts. Others here had the same suspicions as well.

    2. Thanks for your valuable input and insight. You know we all take your commentary to heart. Many of us envy your facility for writing with such clarity and for, perhaps above all else, showing us the grave error of our ways. Yes, you are correct: I believe that at least 75% of us believe the earth to be flat. And nearly all of us do believe that reality is what we fashion it to be right here at TAH. You couldn’t be more right! There, feel good now? Does that make it all better? I hope so.

      1. ” I believe that at least 75% of us believe the earth to be flat.”

Wow, I am way out on the fringe. 98% of me believes the Earth is flat.

        1. Flat earthers? Where?

All the flat earthers I’ve ever run into were Gaia worshipers and ecohippies who think that humans should be wiped out. When asked if they included themselves in that ‘all humans wiped out’, they got mad at me.

The Earth rising over the horizon of the Moon made it quite clear to all doubters that the Earth is round and a little bulgy about the waistline. Then there was the Voyager shot of the Earth caught in a beam of sunlight, lite pale blue dot.

So who is a flat Earther here?

          1. And that universe is known as “Bezerkeley”… where everything is fed to him via rectal tube.

          2. Oh, come on. Lars has a brain made of non-Newtonian elements. That’s why it doesn’t work properly.

    3. “Flat earthers”

I believe in the big blue marble, so I am 1 commenter you are wrong about.

      1. Lars likes to paint with a broad brush.

In his mind, anyone who disagrees with him is a Trump loving Nazi who believes the world is flat and deny global warming, and on and on and on…

Lars and his drive by posts are annoying.

    4. Damn you’re easy. I couldn’t have baited this post more heavily if I had used a trowel. Ya’see, Cthulhu, folks here have petty long memories, and your writing style- self serving, verbose, and argumentative, brings back some. This is coupled with your ISP address’ uncanny similarity to another one from “United States Berkeley University Of California At Berkeley.” Just come clean and ‘fess up, Lars. Or is it better to recognize you as “Major Lars REDACTED, USAR?”
Circumstantial? Sure. But men have gone to the gallows on such evidence.
I’ll postulate that with Jonn’s passing you thought you could weasel your way back in here, and you did. For a while.
I’m a second tier Admin here with limited permissions, so I can’t ban you outright. I can edit your comments or make them disappear, though. If you fess up, I may let you continue to comment until Management returns and deals with you as they will.
They say confession is good for the soul, and besides, it’ll give you an opportunity gloat over how long you have strung us along.

    5. So it is you, Commissar? I really didn’t think your existence was so pathetically meaningless that you would try to sneak and slither back into TAH after catching the banhammer. Seriously, I didn’t think that even you could be such a miserable, limp-dicked shitstain. Clearly I overestimated you, which is saying something.

    6. Yeah, those silly flat earthers. They should believe that human beings are the sole reason for climate change and that there are in fact 67 genders because to think otherwise is completely crazy!

Having seen the curvature of the earth on a plane going in various directions is enough for me to see the earth isn’t flat, but whatever.

I’d bet that the number of US Citizens and even US Veterans that are whiny liberal pussies who believe anything the DNC expects them to is pretty high. Though it seems only one or two actually post….

      1. 67? I beg to differ, sir. There cannot be 67 discrete genders. We are told by the SJW crowd that gender is a continuous spectrum of sexuality. Thus, by definition of continuous, there are an infinite number of genders.

        ITS SCIENCE!

        1. If I had a dollar for every gender, I’d have $2 and a fat handful of counterfeits!

        2. Damn, sorry. I haven’t been keeping up with my liberal talking point updates very well.

I’ll be back later after I go download and memorize them….

    7. “I am willing to bet that the percentage of flat earther conspiracy theorists…”

Only if you have no sense of humor or irony.

“Anyone that disagrees becomes a chewtoy.”

A friend of my wife called that “putting on your poor me hat”. Enjoy your martyrdom.

    8. *YAWN*, are you old enough to remember when Mount Pinatubo erupted in the early nineties? Many reputable Scientist estimated that eruption put more pollutants into the atmosphere than the entire Industrial Age all put together (Nitrates, Sulfates, Particulates,…) and we had colder winters for a few years afterward. What’s next, a Volcano Tax?

      1. If there’s a volcano tax, you can bet California has one and there aren’t even any active volcanoes there.

        1. Mt Lassen is dormant and due. Mt Shasta supposedly still has an active magma chamber. The Mammoth Caldera still makes the needle shake now and then, and occasionally offgases.

    9. by “your own reality” you mean the one, empirically true reality?

You might want to acquaint yourself with that.

As for flat earthers, yawn. Attempts to associate those who do not agree with your feeble arguments are flat earthers, ergo, they can be dismissed by assertion.

Unfortunately, actual debate and scientific method do not work that way. But then, what can one expect from an NPC.

Same old tired socialist dialectic from a tired NPC mouthpiece.

Move along, you have been owned.

Go ahead, say it. Oraaaaaaaaaaaaange man baaaaaaaaaaaad.

  6. Commissar used to have a thing about anonymity and calling those of us who don’t want his hate mail cowards. Has Cunthulu raised the anonymity question? If so, any scintilla of doubt is erased.

      1. Didn’t that very item pop up recently? I remember some serious snark about a pseudonym scorning anonymity.

Are we officially at “sockpuppet in the wire” ?

        1. Okay…yes. I seem to recall not Lars’/Cunthulu’s comment but that someone responded to it by laughing at the notion that someone using a screen name would take others to task for using one. Wish I could pinpoint it…

    1. He made that accusation against me last week, Air Cav. While hiding behind that pro-nazi Cuntholio alias.

      1. Thanks. Yep. If there was any doubt, it is altogether gone. Lars, by and other name, is still a blithering idiot commie bastard.

  7. Hey! I missed the last TAH Flat Earther Society meeting, and nobody sent me the Cliff Notes of it. Does this mean I’ve been voted out and no longer get to contribute to the official contrived reality within which we must all operate?

Oh, well. It was fun while it lasted.

(Is the /sarc really necessary here? Well, there ya go just in case it’s needed.)

    1. Why isn’t he one of them, you ask? Well, they are an amiable bunch, weird as they may be, and they won’t let an empty headed, Socialist, bring his argumentative ass to their meetings.

    2. If Lars et al is not one of them and I am not one of them, does that mean there is something the two of us have in common? See? Even the most unlikely of folks can find something the agree upon, given enough time and the will to find it.

btw, Frankie Cee, are you telling us that Flat Earthers is a real thing? Figured it was just another figment of lefty delusions. Maybe not? Whoever/whatever they are, they must run in very different circles from mine.

  8. Gee, I was so busy this afternoon that I really missed the boat here. I have even more stuff to post that has to do with extinctions and glaciers and stuff like that there.

We’re coming to the end of this interglacial, so I thought it would be a good idea to explain something like that to the squishchipslushfunder.

    1. Well, after reading what thebesig posted as responses, I don’t think any of us need to respond. Wow.

The only way I can respond to all that is, “I like Turtles”.

  9. Ban his ass – Jonn did because he got tired of his bullshit and he tried to ID myself, EX-PH2 and a few others.

    BAN. HIS. ASS.

    FUCK. YOU. LARS. TAYLOR.

    1. You really need to work on your beating around the bush. I don’t think we fully understand how you feel here.

    1. What? He doesn’t have his grubby paws in taxpayers’ pockets?

Impossible! He can’t be real! No ‘other people’s money’ means – well, geezo Pete, man, he might be producing facts… and facts are uncomfortable… and they give the grant grubbing chucks headaches… and, well, they’re alarming to the pseudo-science of CAGWER religion.
