Colonel Larry Dewey reinstated to commander duties

After years of watching Army colonels and generals get fired, it’s good to hear of Colonel Larry Dewey, the commander of Fort Bragg’s 16th Military Police brigade, who was reinstated to his duties after an investigation found no wrongdoing.

According to Stars & Stripes, Dewey stepped down from the position in October when the investigation was begun, but he was restored as commander.

Officials have not said what Dewey was accused of. But Friday, [Col. Joseph Scrocca, spokesman for the 18th Airborne Corps] said, investigators had cleared the colonel.

The 18th Airborne Corps is the brigade’s higher headquarters. Both organizations are based at Fort Bragg and have units across the U.S.

  1. I guess the missing weed and missing surveillance video of his kid at the front gate were not that important to investigators.
    imho

    1. Wait, I’m confused. Your talking about his kid. I thought the investigation was into whether he did anything wrong.
