Comment of the day from that thread about Manning getting refused entry into Canada: “It’s their country, they can choose who comes there.” My response was “So they can, but when the US does…”. I expect a shitstorm of ‘but that’s DIFFERENT.’

The custom & border patrol web site has a lengthy descriptions of what will make/keep you inadmissable for admission to the US. I’m pretty sure that a felony conviction in your country of origin would get you stopped at the US border. There is an appeals process as well. Just as Manning is thinking about her appeal, I bet you one glass of ice tea, there are people appealing their denials.
Something must be wrong with the DUers.
