4. Man am I pissed. Dumb bastards who think that shit is actually free, that they’ll get more Free Cheese if Clinton wins, that Trump is a bad because–just because. Dumb phukers.

5. They are temporarily offline, which I find funny today.

   1. They are still down today, almost 20 hours after the attack.

6. Du has been down since 1630 EST yesterday, they claim a “Trumptroll” hacked them. the sister site Discussionist (DI) is also down. the despair this morning must be like Jonestown before the Koolaid. Next tuesdays Installment will be epic to read.

8. “We do not believe that any member data has been compromised.” That’s part of the message from DU’s disabled site. Well, here’s hoping that the member data were accessed and that the Fascist Hit Squads of the Trump Administration will soon be acting on the info gained.

9. Doh. New message at the still-down DU reads, “We have now come to believe it is possible that the hacker may have been able to gain access to certain member information on our server, including: Usernames, email addresses, and IP addresses.” Be afraid. Be very, very afraid.

10. I am waiting for this: “If you have any information regarding the sudden disappearance or demise of any DU member, please contact the FBI. Sure, we hate the FBI but now we may need them.”

11. The DU site remains down. They say they have one guy who knows what he’s doing and he’s trying to figure the mess out. It went up, briefly, but it got pulled down again when they realized that one fella didn’t figure it all out. Of course, DU has concluded that it was a “vandalism” perpetrated by a Fascist Trump supporter. I like to think so, too, but I’m afraid it was just one of their own, anticipating a Clinton victory and pissed that Bernie the Old Commie Bastard had been cheated out of the nomination and presidency.
