11. I wonder what happened to his insignificant criminal history. When was arrested or cited, for what, and with what result?

    Entering the country illegally is not a crime for which anyone does time. There are always exceptions but too infrequently. Being in the country improperly is not a criminal offense. It is treated as a civil matter and can result in deportation. I would very much like to know this guy’s criminal history, especially whether he was ever prosecuted for whatever crime or crimes he committed.

12. How’s this for immigration reform: when an illegal immigrant is arrested and found to have already been deported and re-entered the US following said deportation, they get summarily shot. Not all illegals, mind you. They get one free deportation. But returning illegally once they’ve been thrown out will result in execution when they get caught.

Realize that Bonafacio is just one of many that has created heinous crimes after illegally returning SEVEN TIMES. Then, contemplate what the statistics might be for those who have only managed to return SIX TIMES, and those that have returned FOUR TIMES, and etc. My guess is it would look like a pyramid, with Bonifacio and his ilk occupying the upper tier….but what do I know?
