According to KRQE, a New Mexico man was arrested by a joint task force of local police and Homeland Security agents for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Anthony Gambino/Anthony Martinez ran yet another security company “Gambino Security Safety Corporation“;
Homeland Security agents say Gambino is formerly known as “Anthony Martinez.” Turns out, he’s a convicted felon in New Mexico under that name.
In 1993, he was convicted of commercial burglary, failure to appear in court on a felony and fraud. He didn’t serve time for these crimes. But he did serve time for another felony conviction in 1997 out of La Plata County, Colorado.
He was convicted of “menacing involving a deadly weapon” and went to prison for a year and half.
Of course, there’s a stolen valor tinge to his bio – Gambino claimed to be a Marine with a Purple Heart.
Gambino made it easy for the feds – he brought a gun to his meeting with them and admitted to having six more firearms at home. In addition, he posted YouTube videos and Facebook videos of himself in possession of firearms.
There’s stupid, and then there’s felony stupid. This goes beyond felony stupid and into “do you have to be reminded to breathe” fucktardedness.

I worked with this guy several years ago in North Dakota. He claimed to be a former 1stSgt from 4th Force at that time. He never overextended his hand back then and I, being a Battalion level guy never got to know many of the Force guys and had no reason to doubt him. We didn’t work side by side or anything but would run into each other once a month or so.
He recently approached me about working for his Security Company he has going on some “contract” in Iraq. Even claimed to have a former FBI Agent working with him and was asking if I was interested in dusting off my Corpsman skills. Glad I turned that down. I’m way to slow and fat to play anymore and it seems to have worked out pretty darned good for me.
