AW1Ed sends us a link to a brief story about this Norman MacDonald fellow who stole more than $10,000, but less than $100,000 from the Southern Maryland Veterans Association when his job to collect up donation money;
Between the dates of June 1, 2015 – December 24, 2015, McDonald was employed by SMVA and responsible for collecting donation containers from various locations in Calvert County.
I hope they take his portrayals of Colonel Sanders and Burt Reynolds into consideration during sentencing.
Special place in Hell for this guy.

Reading the comments on the link, there are accusations saying that the charity is infested with registered sex offenders. I have had an opportunity to visit the Veteran’s Home in Marshall Hall, which I would assume was the intended recipient, and it it a ver beautiful campus.

Until now I had no reason to bring up this subject. Where we live, through the years at least one fairly large private school and a number of smaller churches have been ripped of by one of their staff handling their treasury. As a matter of fact, the school suffered such a loss that it had to shut down. Why?????? NONE of these institutions bothered to have those handling money BONDED. Does not cost that much to begin with. Any organization that does not require any and all handling funds to be bonded…….that’s plenty good reason for me to leave them out of our schedule of donations. Simple, simple, simple. Have them BONDED!!!
