Robert “Bobby” Collins; phony soldier from Canada

Robert Collins (1)

One of our readers in Canada sent us some pictures of this goofball, Robert Patrick Collins, in Canada. According to our fan, Stolen Valour – Canada is looking into his claims of serving in the Canadian forces

He was on the front page of the Peninsula News Review this last Remembrance Day in his clown suit which is a mixture of US and Canadian Awards.

So far, no one can find him on the registry of awards in Canada and, well, the National Personnel Records Center says “Who?”.

Apparently, we’re supposed to stop picking on him because he suffers from dementia and he’s dying of cancer, but I’m beginning to think that stealing valor causes those maladies because they all seem to be suffering from both. Maybe if we find a cure for stolen valor, we can cure cancer that way.

  1. US of A Senior jump wings very nice.
I was expecting to see one or two combat jumps on them.

  2. He looks height weight proportional compared to me.

  3. This turd is obviously I negotiations with the town to set up a branch of All-Points logistics.

With recent political developments in Canada, they are engaging us a little more, for good or bad.

  4. Huh…..is that a purple heart?

I know from time to time we have joint awards with our Canadian Brothers and sisters in arms….but, really?

  5. It appears Bobby Collins was a cook in the Canadian military from 8 June 63 -10 Nov 1979 so, he must have served in the RVN with the US Army on nights week ends and on annual leave… I wonder if he shared recipes with Wave?

  6. Looks like he has a couple of defenders in the Facebook comments section… obviously, they must something about his missions. They must be labeled “Sekrit Wombat” security clearance… stuff that even the DoD doesn’t know about.

    1. Yeah I was wondering that same thing, especially about that Robin Fillmore jackass. Confirmed by who?

  7. When did he decide to bolt on the Silver Star and Bronze Star? In the pic with the dude in the Smokey Bear hat, he’s only wearing the ribbons of the Purple Heart and VN Campaign Medal. Was he testing the waters…

    1. Nah…according to my neighbour who knew him 35 odd years ago he was already bragging bout his Vietnam LLRP (sp?) experience then and wearing the PH SS BS AND CIB

  8. If he’s so legit, how is it he can’t apparently either get the right size for them berets, or get it into shape?
Canadians have been wearing them a lot longer that we have, so his has no excuse.
I’d think his peers would have set him straight, rather than let him wander around looking like a canadian soup sandwich.

  9. HOLY SCHISSE!!!- Its the bastard abortive love child of whitless slurp and crash bernath… Jonn who ever provided youi with these pictures owes me a coffee. (scared my daughter spit chocking and trying to laugh at the same time)
