      1. Skippy and the new mommy. First, CONGRATULATIONS on the birth of your daughter ?.
Buddha bless her with love, grace, the image of her mom, the brain of her father. Let her bring JOY to all that love her as she brings love to those that surround her.
A very special blessing for your family at the temple in the morning.

    1. talk about a long day and a long night Lol….
well worth every moment.. currently working on the day and night clock all good

    1. until the surprise in the diaper appears Lol.. it’s all good I haven’t been peed on yet but it’s coming Lol..

      1. Go with a pump. More rounds downrange before reloading and some of those teenage boys may need more than two hints.

          1. If you ever need one for a Formal wedding the double is more elegant in white than the pump. In my opinion.

    1. I’m wondering why the local station in Ft. Myers hasn’t aired anything on Hopalong Lawn Dart Danny, the dumbest draw in the south.

Did they figure he was just too bats hit crazy for TV?

        1. They are depending on what is going on in the news cycle per my wife’s friend over at the Clinton News Network or CNN

          1. What is going on is that my dog, as I type this, is dropping a huge, steaming pile of Phil Monkress in my neighbor’s yard.

              1. ’cause his dog’s name is Stanley… and he’s dropping steamers… Stanley’s steamers…

            1. Green Thumb. talk about mess after being in and out of the house the last few days my Heeler left PILES OF STEAMING GIFTS in the back yard for me to clean up… LMAO…

  1. Congratulations, Skippy and the entire Skippy family. Make sure Genevieve and her siblings know which stars are which in the night sky, how to tell a comet from a planet, and point out that on her birthday, a newly-discovered Earth-type planet (GJ1132b) was found just about 39 light years from home, in constellation Vela.

    1. awesome info… on the planet our youngest kaitlyn. is a star and sky Nut Lol… I’m sure Genevieve maybe to since we love to camp a lot
      and before I forget PH2 Thank You with a Hug… ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Hey everyone, let’s nor forget Mrs. Skippy.
She played a part in this blessed event too!
    Congrats to all!!

    1. she may jump on here later.. after nap time.
and yes you are right about that, she is the reason that she is here
also from me BIG Thank You….

  3. Congrats, Skippy.
A head full of head at birth.
Me and mine were fair-headed baldies until we were about two years old.
    Color me officially jealous.

    1. odd to say this but our first was a Blondie, Lol..
this one has a little of her dads Native American, showing with the hair and skin..
also big thank you… also from me and the better half

    1. Funny as Hell a vet friend down the street from me fell out of his chair watching this.. when I spoke to him about this he didn’t believe there was anybody out there this crazy….

  4. Daniel Bernath: So I jump child support in California and I make my way over to Tigard, and I get on as a poser at a Social Security office in Portland.

    โ€จDallas Wittgenfeld: A poser?

โ€จDaniel Bernath: A poser, you know, a fake Social Security lawyer, a poser, a loser. So, I tell them Iโ€™m an Honorary CPO, and who do you think they give me? Phil Monkress, himself. Commander of All Points Logistics. The leather jacket, the SEAL pin, baldโ€ฆ disgusting. So, Iโ€™m in the airplane with him. I give him the duct tape. He takes off and nosedives โ€“ big drinker, the Commander โ€“ long, into a field, two hundred yards from Sisters Airport. Do you know what Commander Phil says? Gunga galungaโ€ฆ gunga, gunga-lagunga. So we climb out of the wreckage and heโ€™s gonna stiff me. And I say, โ€œHey, Phil, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the Yelp review you know.โ€ And he says, โ€œOh, uh, there wonโ€™t be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive a full tank of aviation fuel.โ€ So I got that goinโ€™ for me, which is nice.

    1. HACK..there is no place on earth for either Bernath and Dallas…Bernath is done with and without any help from anyone here on TAH.
BERNATH did this all by himself by lying about his military service, not revealing to the Oregon Bar that he failed to pay child support.
Anyone who posts on TAH and other poser websites are in his line of sight to harass to the point of a crazy moron.
His day came when Shipley did what everyone here would of loved to do. Proof of walking without support and carrying a firearm he legally can’t own, being diagnosed with PTSD.
In the near future, he will lose everything that is leftover from all the lawsuits he lost. He’ll be nothing but a washed out waste of air and space.
I was shocked that Dallas didn’t back his buddy in person, but drunk on a speaker phone is all that punk can do.
Both are nothing but losers filled with hot air and scared silly by Shipley’s other half, Diane. They both brought shame to their own names and nobody gives a ratsass about either one.

      1. He only CLAIMS that he has PTSD. There is no PROOF other than his say-so, which is NOT proof.

And furthermore, he is carrying that gun openly in a non-open carry state. That alone is illegal.

Screw his claims of PTSD. That is bullshit.

It’s the open carry part on video that I find completely mind-boggling, but it just adds to the pile of other REAL things. He will claim he felt threatened. Senior Chief Shipley has NEVER threatened anyone. Period. There is NO excuse for the open carry. PERIOD.

  5. Congrats Skippy on Ms. Skippette. May your whole family be blessed.

Now, time for a rant. It’s all a big freaking commie plot, and if Reagan was still in office, he’d have them commie bastards by the balls.

    What it is you ask?

It’s 13 November and I just mowed my yard!

    Rant and therapy session over.

  6. A little late, but being on the road can do that.

Congrats, Skip. The new daughter’s adorable.

Give her – and your better half – best wishes from everyone here at TAH.

Oh, and one last thing: the DRC can KMA.

    1. it’s never late Mr Hondo.. and it’s a honor from you sir.. ๐Ÿ™‚
and a BIG THANK YOU ๐Ÿ™‚
      I AM Hondo! ! ! !
      ๐Ÿ™‚
      ๐Ÿ™‚
      ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. The Dutch Rudder Gang can still KMA while they eat shit and howl at the moon!! ๐Ÿ˜€

  8. That is a quality looking baby or, in Navyspeak, a 4.0 baby. Congratulations, mom and dad.

I’m assuming Navy evals are still on a 4.0 scale. I’ve been retired a long time.

  9. Would have sent my congratulations sooner but got caught up in the French situation.

My wife and I have four sons and a daughter and to this day…..she keeps those guys in line. She is truly the “apple of me eye.”

From my family to your’s – our very best wishes.

  10. Here’s a little tidbit from Accuweather: NASA says Antarctica is gaining more ice than it’s losing. Here’s the link to the article.

Also, my furnace decided to stop providing me with heat on Sunday this week, right at the time when cold air was moving in, so I talked to the furnace company – known them for years, and I get discounts from them – and said I thought it was the blower motor because that compartment is the source of a banging noise and a grating noise. The repairman came, did the diagnostic, said my analysis was accurate and ordered the part. He said he’d be back ASAP with it. ASAP means TUESDAY NEXT WEEK! When I called about it yesterday, Laurie told me it won’t get here until then.

Well, I have plenty of warm blankets, a small space heater, plenty of warm clothing, and the south side of the house acts as a solar collector, so the indoor temperature now is 58F and I was as warm as a newly-baked quiche, which I had for breakfast this morning. I’m going to the hardware store to get birdfood and look at larger space heaters.

At least we’re going to have a warm spell until Wednesday, and then rain.

    1. I hade that problem last winter. All pipes cracked and the toilets cracked in half. Good old State Farm found a way to not pay up.

    2. According to Al Gore, you MUST be exaggerating about the cold because we’re in the midst of a serious climate change (poor bastard couldn’t finish his global warming demonstration at the Eifel Tower last night because of ISIS).

      I wish you a warm(er) weekend.

      1. You know, when I went to the hardware store to look over room heaters, they not only had some very nice ones for reasonable prices, they also had some stuff I needed on the $1-$3 rack. And I realized that the price on some of those heaters, which look like cast iron stoves and are very attractive, may just be on sale next spring, which is the right time to go buying that stuff.

And then, when I went back out to the car, the outdoor temperature had risen enough to take off my ski jacket. Life is good in my lane. I hope it stays that way.

  11. Here is a collection of video recordings I compiled and posted at my own personal web site, “OUR ETERNAL STRUGGLE”, documenting life and events in Germany after the end of the Second World War:

    https://youtu.be/y0FM_7_drf0?list=PLuhBygcdO23Dpve9QwKQR4do0TW_KPUDC

As a point of personal interest, in 1968 and 1969, I was stationed in Germany, as a Private First Class (E-3) Field Radio Relay and Carrier Equipment Repairman (MOS 31L20) in Company A, 11th Air Defense Signal Battalion, 32d Army Air Defense Command, of the United States Army, in Kleber Kaserne in Kaiserslautern, with most of my time spent on Repair Team A-2 at Spangdahlem Air Force Base.

I thoroughly enjoyed being there, and have many fond memories.

  12. Skippy. Sorry for the tardy well wishes but heartiest congratulations to you and the Mrs. That is one beautiful baby and, the nice thing is, there really are pics to prove it!

  13. Today, Sunday 15 November 2015, there is a MAJOR update to WINDOWS 10 from Microsoft.

I just got through downloading and installing it.

Because it is a MAJOR update, it took a long time to download and install, and required multiple reboots, plus a lot of waiting around.

  14. CONGRATULATIONS, Skippy!

    God has truly blessed you.

My wife and I were unable to have children, so you being thus blessed has a special depth of emotion for me.

Great going, and keep up the good work!

  15. Sorry to be so late posting this Skippy. Congratulations my friend and brother! My prayers are with you, your wife and most of all little Genevieve Huguette for health and happiness.

  16. Skippy and Spouse, I know I’m way late for posting this, but my heartiest congratulations to both of you for bringing such a wonderful life into the world.

May the little one bring you nothing but joy and happiness.

  17. Congratulations on the new addition from my house to yours!! We have friends who named one of their twin girls the same name. Sorry for the late post!!!
