Our buddy, Concretebob, sends an announcement that the pro-troop groups, Gathering of Eagles, Eagles Up, and all of the others are assembling in DC on April 4th;

We have a date. 4 April, 2009 Washington DC. Permits are being filed today.
I want everyone in DC the first weekend in April.

Defeat in Iraq Day will be March 21st when ANSWER ignores reality;

Marking the sixth anniversary of the criminal invasion of Iraq, thousands will take to the streets of Washington D.C. and other cities across the U.S. and around the world in March 2009 to say, “Bring the Troops Home NOW!” We will also demand “End Colonial Occupation in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine and Everywhere,” and “Fund Peoples’ Needs Not Militarism and Bank Bailouts.” We also insist on an end to the war threats and economic sanctions against Iran.

I’ll be there, too.

    Though, it is also really fun to be there when the lunatic left does their schtick, too 🙂

    I’m starting to make my plans on moseying down to DC for Victory in Iraq Day! I’m planning on spending a few days so I can also visit the national monuments, Arlington and also hang out with you, concretebob, tankerbabe, TSO and whoever else that posts here that shows up! Let’s celebrate and honor our troops!

    That’s ok; rest assured that the Army Reserve will be on duty!

    I bet the pukes over at the ivaw are peeing in their pants right now, knowing I won’t be there!!!

  8. My wife and I had planned on visiting DC and the Marine Corps musuem in Quantico at the end of April, but the first weekend sounds like a better idea.
