Mary sends us a link to an article about this John Adam Vanous who was arrested for soliciting Bellmead, Texas detectives who were posing as a 13-year-old girl;
During the conversation, Vanous claimed he was a former Navy Seal receiving a Medal of Honor and Purple Heart. This information was later proved to be false and that he had never even been in the military.
On December 26, Vanous agreed to meet at a local business in Bellmead. Police say that he thought he was meeting the 13-year-old female for sexual intercourse.
When Vanous arrived to the location, police quickly arrested him. He was was charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor.

One of my son’s peers growing up here in SoMD was a bad seed. All the parents knew he was trouble, and he was well acquainted with the local constabulary. Time goes on, and he is arrested at age 32 for kiddie porn and sexual relations with minors, and is sentenced to 20 years in the State pen.
