It Is a Sunday…

Sometimes simple words just don’t do enough. I’ve been spit at and called a baby killer. while in uniform. I AM Bad Company!

I’m gonna offer a tune that captures a thing.  If you’re a Nam vet and/or did GoE this probably echos for you as well.

Just a tiny thing in a broader reality, and only a cover song… Don’t think we can argue  the Been There/Done That element.

  1. Just got back from a beautiful ride with my fellow former brothers in arms. Perfect late November day for a ride, and the perfect tune to go with my cold frosty beverage to end the day. Cheers, ZP! I’m FEELING like Bad Company. Maybe a bit more tired than bad just now, but whatevs.

  2. Thanks,Zero, but geez,a live american band on stage for the troops entertainment. And to think we used to get pretty excited when a couple of round eye Donut Dollies would wave at us from half a click away.Oh,well, the times, they are a changing.

  3. You know… I worry about the crowd that hangs around this place sometimes…
We seem to have a lot of those Desperado low rent kind of guys and the ladies of ill repute too !!!
The property values will probably go down around my RV park if they knew I hung out here…
I dunno about this place sometimes….

          1. Speaking of the “Flip” bands in Nam, who remembers: “Lollin’, Lollin’, lollin on a liver.” I’ll take the band in the film. Thanks Zero, does bring back some memories.

  4. Always liked Bad Company.

FWIW, two of the songs that seemed to me to nail the ‘Nam-era zeitgeist were the Rolling Stones’ “Sympathy for the Devil” and “Gimme Shelter.”
