NBC News reports that Douglas McAuthur McCain, of San Diego, California was killed in the fighting with ISIS in Syria over the weekend.

McCain, 33, called himself “Duale ThaslaveofAllah” on Facebook and his Twitter bio reads: “It’s Islam over everything.” But how did this would-be rapper go from shooting hoops in a blue-collar area of Minnesota to dying in the civil war thousands of miles from home? This is his story — one shared in part by only a “small handful” of Americans believed to be fighting in Syria with ISIS.

The Wire says that he changed his name to Duale ThaslaveofAllah and NBC says h worked at a Somali restaurant before his leap to the war against sanity in Syria.

Senior administration officials told NBC News they were aware that McCain was killed in Syria and that his family was informed on Monday. The officials added that they believe dozens of Americans have gone to Syria to fight with extremist groups – including, but not limited to, ISIS.

“The threat we are most concerned about to the homeland is that of fighters like this returning to the U.S. and committing acts of terrorism,” a senior administration official told NBC News.

Well, good for him – he got everything he wanted and he did it somewhere else besides this country. Win/win.

    1. Proud…I tried to watch Dr. Ben Carson slice and dice Jesse Jackson in a news interview about Ferguson and blacks problems in general. Trouble was I could not understand Jackson’s mumbling, lazy mouth utterances. It was like he was on drugs and couldn’t open his pie hole and speak. Carson was turning him inside out and…oh…by the way, inside out…Jackson is still a race baiting racist, just an aside there, but I couldn’t enjoy listened to Dr. Carson because of Jackson’s lazy, drug addled sounding responses.

      So yep, it’s your, my and any other “white guy’s” fault that young dumbass Douglas had no hope and sought comfort and acceptance in the “religion of peace” and thus he is dead. Folks like him forget, Muslims hate Americans. Even American Muslims and especially American Muslim converts. They don’t trust them (I wouldn’t) and give them enough to make a statement them send them to the front lines. Their deaths, while making me feel happy like a 6 year old with a brand new bike, serves the IS ass holes as publicity.   16. Just heard on the radio that people were saying he was a good kid and should be treated as a hero and have the proper funeral honors to show that for what he did.

    I had to pull over and make sure I didn’t crash and spit coffee out of my nose from hearing that.

  18. Life is short and we all make choices. Some are right, some are wrong, and some are in between…in the “gray area.” No matter what the choice is…one must be accountable for that choice.
    Emotions put aside…this guy got what he deserved…his choice. He is NOT a martyr nor a hero…just simply a dead mankind hating terrorist who chose a cause that believes in killing the innocent and at times the helpless.
    Pure justice won this round.
