Paul D. Husen meets Don Shipley

Paul Husan

Don gets this Paul Husen in a three-way phone call to catch him making his claims to a prospective employer.

Retired Navy SEAL Senior Chief Don Shipley BUSTS Paul David Husen of Los Angeles. Paul is a Nurse who Doctors his DD-214 to show he was a highly decorated Vietnam Navy SEAL Lieutenant and he was NOT.

Paul was discharged from Active Duty as a Seaman Apprentice, an E-2, in October, 1978. He was too young for Vietnam but Paul doesn’t let that stand in the way of a good story to get a job…

What an ass-clown. Suggestion to employers when confronted with this situation.

Step one: Make a copy of the Fake DD214 the asshat provided.

Step two: Have the asshat sign an affidavit saying said DD214 is the one provided him by the military at his discharge.

Step three: Have the Shitbag fill out a request for his military records and DD214, using the address of employment to recieve it.

Step four: When records arrive have him open them in front of you and compare

Step five: Fire the piece of shit.

I am on the road, so without seeing the video, let see how far off I am on the results:

    1. Don is addressing a serious problem.
    2. The video has some pretty damn funny points.
    3. Don’s wife should run for President of the USA!
    4. Things don’t go well for Paulee Boy the Male Nurse.

    So how did I do?

    Ta Ta

    1. Dave Hardin

That’s real close, but if Don doesn’t lighten up on his wife I think she is going to hurt his ass. Its one worth watching. Be Safe.

    2. Claim of being an officer, when he got out as a Seamen Apprentice is the biggest. Well, the biggest is actually giving his employer a FORGED DD-214.

      1. Hayabusa

Well, if you’re going to claim you were a SEAL when you weren’t, why not claim you were an officer when you were really a Seaman’s Apprentice? In fact, why not go all the way and claim you were an admiral? Go big or go home.

        1. Hondo

          Someone already tried that, Hayabusa:

Am I the only one that wanted to see the stuffed pepper?

      1. Delilah T.

No, and I wanted the potato skins, too.

I will find a recipe for that and post it. I love that stuff.

  4. Don cracks me up. Also, I think my wife wants to meet his and exchange recipes so that he and I can be tortured in cruel and inhuman ways.

  5. John “Faker 6” Giduck

Paul has copied my tactics. I just deny my lies even when caught.

Paul Husan claiming US Navy SEAL is bad. Me claiming Russian Spetnaz Anti-SEAL training makes me “Shipley-proof”.

See me in Anti-SEAL combat action on pg 25 of this document: http://thetruthaboutsocnetlies.files.wordpress.com/2012/07/likely-itar-violations.pdf

I should start a Military Posing consulting package

    sincerely

LOL @ Don setting up L shaped ambushes on the phone.

Don you are hilarious as shit. Never stop.

  7. rb325th

Forgery of a DD-214 is a federal offense… just saying for all the rocket scientist who decide to doctor up one.
This Paul D. Husen should be grateful it was just Don calling him and not his local FBI Office. What an utter piece of shit!!

    1. MCPO NYC USN Ret.

      Stop it!

Stolen Valor IS a victimless crime.

      The remedy IS the truth.

Now … go to your room and don’t come out until the US Supreme Court says you can!

      1. Hondo

Actually, MCPO – rb325th is correct. Forging a discharge certificate is a separate crime, prohibited by a different part of the US code – 18 USC 498.

        1. MCPO NYC USN Ret.

          Ah … I know that!

I was being fasseesheeus (spelling check)!

I hate it when I have to explain my humor!

          1. Jabatam

            I got it

          2. Hondo

MCPO: I understood full well you were being facetious, amigo. But many people don’t realize that forging or altering a DD214 is an entirely separate Federal crime from Stolen Valor – even if the resulting bogus DD214 doesn’t claim any decorations, wartime service, etc . . . . That’s the point I was making.

      2. rb325th

        LMFAO!!

  8. Hack Stone

E2, O3. Let’s split the difference and call him a J2.5. He probably plotted himself while talking to his employer and heard Don on the line. With those qualifications on his resume, he definately is All Points Logistics material.

    1. A Proud Infidel®™

How ’bout an additional 8TFULSoS qualifier?

    2. A Proud Infidel®™

      WHAM-BAM, another POSer gets slammed!!!

    3. ExHack

He can provide the medical subject matter expertise for APL to get one of those juicy contracts for care and feeding of the Central American undocumented kids.

  9. C2Show

LOL: Paul the loser said “Why are you on this phone call, Don?”

Don surprisingly kept his cool with this shithead. He might as well tell his employers and end this mess.

And does a dumbass like this not know what Stolen Valor is?

    1. Fen

What he should have been asking is “why did my boss agree to let Shipley in on this call?”

Should have been his first clue that the gig was up and he should start blubbering and begging for mercy. But no, he chose to double down instead. What an idiot.

  10. Andy

A Hollywood prop 214? That may be the most original excuse yet. Still don’t excuse his BS though.

    1. C2Show

Haha, even so…why is this fuck sending it to employers. He definitely couldn’t answer that.

I imagine his answer would have been: “I just wanted to test this out with a future employer to see if this DD214 is real!”

    2. Just an old Dog

      “A Hollywood prop 214? ”

Yes because every war movie ever made shows a closeup of the heroes DD214 for a full 5 minutes for rhe audience to see.

  11. Azygos

I hope someone thinks to file a complaint with the licensing board. If he will lie about this what else is he doing? I would not want to be the one suffering a heart attack and have to trust this clown to give me morphine. Who knows if he will actually give it or pocket for later use or sale?

  12. The more of the crap I see, the more I’m convinced that employers should not accept service member provided DD-214’s. First, most HR types don’t even know what the hell they’re looking at anyway. Second, the minute someone shoves an SF-180 under an applicant’s nose and they hem and haw, time to say, “Have a nice day, we’ll be in touch,” and show them the door.

    1. Ex-PH2

I never gave anyone my DD-214 in regard to applying for work. I just put USNavy on my resume and the length of time I was in. No one ever asked to see it, either.

I guess things were different back in them there post-VN olden days.

      1. Jabatam

I’ve had to provide mine before. As far as I know, it’s never helped me gain employment though because I’ve never been hired for the jobs I really wanted

    2. C2Show

For State jobs or corporate businesses, no doubt they should educate HRs on DD214s. Most don’t have a clue what they are seeing. Federally of course, most HRs I seen are ex military so they have a clue.

For about 90 percent of state jobs I applied for, always ask for DD214 or make you sign out off on one of their “Veteran Prefence forms”

  13. tm

Mrs. Shipley as always is awesome:

“Diane, what they call those? Jungle cats?”
    “Yeah”
“That’s what you call me, right?”
    *laughter*

  14. Lion7Yeoman

Problems with a yeoman? I bet that’s true. I went above and beyond to make sure the good Sailors were taken care of and so did every other yeoman I knew who was worth a damn.

The shitbags like this douchenozzle? Not so much. Get ’em Senior!

Dear phony Teamguy who falsely claims to have been awarded the Navy Cross,

Here are some links to a Real Deal Teamguy who earned his Navy Cross with his life:

    http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=40359717

    http://projects.militarytimes.com/citations-medals-awards/recipient.php?recipientid=4080

“Realizing that most of the first squad, 25 meters north of his position, had been wounded, he left the relative safety of his own position in order to assist the wounded lying helplessly exposed. Under heavy enemy fire and with total disregard for his personal safety, Chief Petty Officer McFaul moved forward into the kill zone and began carrying a seriously wounded platoon member to safety. As he was nearing the safety of his own force’s perimeter, he was mortally wounded by enemy fire.”

Feel free to locate the nearest .45 pistol and suck start it.

    Sincerely,

  16. Ex-PH2

Do these guys actually think no one will do background checks when they apply for jobs like EMT or nurse or police or firefighter?

The internet makes it so much easier to find out whether or not someone is telling the truth about his/her military experience.

I know that people slip through the cracks. I’ve seen that. But still, the internet provides a better way now to sort out the frauds and liars than it used to be. Why do they think they can get away with it?

  17. Intel POG

Looks like he’s been up to this since ’99.

    http://www.socnet.com/archive/index.php/t-48.html

    1. Hondo

Nice find, Intel. Yep, seems to be the same name as the tool we have above.

Per the SOCNET page, apparently he was once an HM2 – but got busted wearing an unauthorized NC, 2x SS, and Trident. I’m guessing that might have something to do with why he was discharged as an SA.

      1. Green Thumb

        Are you editing today?

        1. Hondo

          GT: ?????

      2. Intel POG

That’s what Intel guys do! 🙂

    2. Elijah Benson

Yeah, found that too and posted it to Don’s comments to the video.

  18. Green Thumb

    Yep.

I posted a wrong web address. Need it corrected, if possible.

    1. Hondo

OK. Any issue with me contacting you to coord details?

      1. Green Thumb

        No, not at all.

Actually, I identified it below your last other post.

        1. Hondo

Found it. Want me to just delete it so you can re-do it correctly?

  19. SFC Raikkonen

Man, I watched the next video in the playlist and it was the Combat Shooting Course one… FREAKIN AWESOME! Makes me want to take leave and attend it.

One for you actual lawyers out there, but there was a lawsuit (surprise) around Husen’s involvement in Pacific Health Services:
    http://caselaw.findlaw.com/ca-court-of-appeal/1500021.html

Interesting, on his linkedin page, Husen still says that he’s hard at work at PHS, which was being shutdown due to a dispute between the owners (at least that’s my non lawyer reading of it).

  21. 10thMountainMan

I call these guys every time a number gets posted. Anybody else do the same? I just set the phone on speaker and talk it out with them in the company break room. It’s a lot of fun and I think all of you should give it a try.

213-387-9552 For this Paul turd. I have a feeling he’s already been fired though.
