Our cousin up north, Aunty Brat sends us a link to the Globe and Mail about Lieutenant-Colonel Debbie Miller;

Lieutenant-Colonel Debbie Miller, a 34-year veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces currently posted to the Canadian Defence Academy in Kingston, is expected in court in October on three charges of unlawful use of military uniforms or certificates.

The 57-year-old also faces eight charges of conduct to the prejudice of good order and discipline.

Military police launched the investigation after another member of the military filed a complaint about Lt.-Col. Miller’s medals in December, 2012, said Captain David Hitchcock, detachment commander at 2 Military Police Regiment in Kingston. Lt.-Col. Miller was charged in April the next year.

“I believe she was outed at an event or something with her unit and someone there noticed,” Capt. Hitchcock said, adding that investigators then conducted interviews and used photos to probe the allegations against Lt.-Col. Miller.

Captain Joanna Labonte, spokesperson for the Provost Marshal, said Lt.-Col. Miller is still on duty in Kingston, though it’s unclear whether her duties have changed.

The Canadian military authority isn’t making public which awards she wore that weren’t authorized, but they’re quick to say that the situation isn’t common. The lieutenant colonel faces dismissal.

    2. First off she’s Air Force so no Battalion. Secondly its an officer thing, they are promoted to the level of incompetence then hidden away in some useless position where they can do no harm.

      1. Her court-martial for that is scheduled for October of this year at CFB Kingston, ON. Poke around a bit at the link provided by Mikeninercharlie above and you can find it.

        The link Mikeninercharlie provided is to a previous court-martial. This ain’t the first time the “fine lady” has been court-martialed.

While Canadians have been fighting and dying in third world shit holes over the past dozen years, this lying sack of shit has been rocking illegal medals and basking in the reflected glory of the guys and gals doing the heavy lifting… Fuck her and everyone like her!
