Jeremy Keith Taulborg; phony soldier pleads guilty

Jeremy Keith Taulborg

MCPO Ret. In TN sends a link to Deseret News about Jeremy Keith Taulborg, a Utah man who claimed to be an Army Special Forces soldier and police officer to convince a bank to cash his $28,000 check on a closed account.

Taulborg has never worked for the Park City Police Department, according to city officials. Likewise, he has never served as a special deputy U.S. marshal, an Army Special Forces weapons sergeant or a police officer in Ohio, as he allegedly claimed on social media websites.

Taulborg will be sentenced July 2. He faces up to 15 years in prison for the communications fraud conviction and up to six months in jail for the theft conviction.

I guess pretending to be everything beats pretending to be just something.

  1. This guy needs to be dick punched every day he’s in prison, as part of his punishment.

    1. Well, OT, He will be punched, and a dick will be involved, but it won’t be his dick.

    1. I know of very few people who still wear their tags. I do, but it’s just because it still feels kind of wrong not to wear them. However, those I know who do wear them still follow military protocol with them…

      INSIDE THE SHIRT

      1. I still have mine. I wear them whenever I travel anywhere, in case something happens and I am unresponsive, etc. They at least let the responder know my blood type, religion, name and service so that, when they see my age they’ll have a clue to contact the VA for my records.

The only other time I wear them is for when I’m going out drinking. Same reasons as above. 🙂

    2. Those are NOT his tags. I dated this pos. They are his grandfathers who passed away a few years ago. Im very glad all this caught up to him for once. He did this is OHIO, Ever took his friends badge and tried to pass it off as his for the BRICE Police.
      POS!

  2. Dear Jeremy

A good poser will stick to exotic sounding foreign special operations units which are far more difficult to verify and just sound cooler.

They also seem to prefer some combination of old blonde hags and man ass. Your cellmate will almost certainly lean towards the latter.

    Sincerely

    John “Faker 6” Giduck

    1. Don’t forget Julio and “Tiny”… they’re the jealous types if you don’t mention them, Chip…

      1. Jailhouse Banter:

        Cellmate: So what you name?

        Jeremy: Jeremy is my name.

        Cellmate: I likes dat name.

Jeremy: I was in the Spec Ops Battalion Unit Company B.

Cellmate: Puts dis lip stick on. DO IT BITCH!

Jeremy … sobbing: This is like the face paint we used on Black Ops.

Cellmate: You lips sure do look more pretty now!

        The End …

        1. Jeremy: Hey.

Thor: HOW LON ya’ in for?

          Jeremy: A few years.

Thor:YEARS, huh? Gonna be like we’re married, whaddya wanna be, the Husband or the Wife?

          Jeremy: HUSBAND!!

Thor: Awwright then, NOW GET OVER HERE AND GIVE YOUR WIFE A BLOWJOB, BITCH!!

  3. Utah, huh? He must’ve been the weapons sergeant on kendude crotchrot’s ODA…

  4. So all you need to do to get a bad check cashed is convince the bank you are SF. Damn, you guys have have mad, crazy, skills.

    1. He was caught when the car dealers he wrote the checks to got word from his bank.
He just didn’t know when to quit: He tried to convince the police after the first check bounced that his bank account got closed because of ID theft and was being investigated by another LEA. Of course, that was a lie. And while the cops were working that first check, he wrote a 2nd one. Those details from another article linked to from the original article:

  5. Wouldn’t it be more efficient to lock him in a room with a SF soldier, a police officer, and a US Marshal, and allow them to counsel him to their satisfaction?

    Just sayin’.

    1. These days, PN, his NOK would likely file a lawsuit afterwards.

      And be awarded damages.

  6. I love it when the right things happen to the right people! Enjoy you time inside Jeremy…your cell mates cure will!

      1. Couldn’t happen to a better man. Well, not a man for long once he gets those tits tattooed on his back and his front teeth knocked out. Inmates are all about “safety first”.

        1. Maybe he could hire Turd Bolling (he might be on his way soon as well) to provide him security?

The irony is in the fact that the only thing Turd Bolling can secure is a set of nuts.

        2. Hahaha! His front teeth are all rotted out already so that won’t be a big change to now.

  7. Mehhhhhh….He’ll be sent to Draper, pull road cleanup detail, get a free education courtesy of the taxpayers of the State of Utah, grajurate from that academy and make a lifetime carreer of knocking over 7/11’s and other similiar stores with a “Born to Win” tatoo on his forehead.

  8. I say we correspond with him daily and address the letters to POOleece Officer Jeremy Keith Taulborg. Might give his “room mates” something to taunt him with while polishing their hardware.

    1. Joe,

How do you come up with “most service members and veterans”?

Please explain and quantify this statement.

      Thanks …

      1. If you dig a little deeper and look at some of the other comments of the folks in that thread, well, let’s just call it interesting.

More of these clowns are on Teti’s jockstrap than Dallas’, but they don’t see the big flick, as it were.

  9. Dickhead? You Bet.

Sympathy for the idiot bank that would cash a $28k check and not hold it to wait for the funds to actually transfer or better yet just call the other friggen bank? None, they deserve to lose the money

  10. He won’t get pounded in the ass or anything like that. He will get 3 square meals a day, a/c, a bed, cable t.v. & he will recieve better health care (while incarcerated) than most Vets!
Ppl… Most prisons aren’t like what you see on t.v. Some are still pretty rough but most offenders get everything they need plus a lot they don’t need. Again, it’s time for a major overhaul in the USA.

  11. He prob got his dog tags from the machines at Walmart that make actual pet address tags for animals. He is a pretty pathetic con artist and deserves to get the full sentence….but he’ll prob only get a year and be back at it
