Through the magic of videotape and YouTube, regular TAH reader ChipNASA has discovered a historical artifact of great importance. He has located the late Mr. Fred Rogers’ – of Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood fame – message to military fakes and valor thieves of all eras.
Let’s just say it looks like Mr. Rogers, an ordained minister, wasn’t a fan of their false claims. Without further ado, here’s his message to them:

He certainly did, ChipNASA. That’s obvious at just after 20 sec, and again at just after 30 sec. Both times, it looks like Rogers nearly “loses it” and starts laughing. (smile)

(PS: I’m pretty sure the “expunged’ word in most cases was “flying”. The guys Mr. Rodgers was interviewing are the “Flying Karamozov Brothers”.)
My son was mesmerized by Mr. Rogers. I tolerated him. But he said in an old interview he had wanted to join the military at one point but was red/green color blind.
The military myth about Mr. Rogers is that he was a Scout-Sniper in Viet Nam.
