If You Thought Your Taxes Are Outrageous . . . .
Well, in fairness, the rent in New York probably is too damn high and if they would abolish rent control and let the market do its work it would doubtlessly be more reasonable.
Otherwise though taxes are too damn high and so is government spending. But we love us some perverse incentives and so spending will continue to rise (tax rates may too, but good luck getting blood from that stone).
They used that argument in Boston about rent control… rents skyrocketed.
Ehhh, hate cities….too many people, besides, why would you want to live in one when the Zombie apocalypse is around the corner? You’ll never get out, just ask Will Smith. Lol.
But if you listen to dEAR Leader B. Hussein 0bama, that’s what’s necessary for his top priority, wealth redistribution. How are the dropouts, illegal aliens, and welfare flunkies going to have everyone else dragged down to their level sans Government running amok in their lives?
We’re already going Galt as a nation. Most people just haven’t recognized it yet.
