Weekend open thread

Sparks has been asking for an open thread since this morning. So here you go, buddy. But this had better last you all weekend. I’ve got a stack of books to read that have been piling up since last Spring, so I’m going to start reading them. Maybe take a trip to the IHOP in Winchester and stock up on some Dunkin’ Donuts while I’m there.

  1. @101.

    I agree.

These men did it before me and for that I owe respect.

    @102.

I have been to the original one in Old Towne but I still have to go w/ In-N-Out!

  2. I stopped buying GSA cookies years ago when I found that I could get twice as much for half the price, devoid of politics. Unfortunately, my wife still buys them but doesn’t eat them. So, guess who still eats them? Hell, I paid for them. Besides, cold milk and a box of thin mints beat principle every time.

  3. Oh, I don’t disagree. There are two places I go when I’m in AZ/Vegas/CA. One is anyplace that has good Mexican food, the other is In-N-Out for a Double-Double, grilled onions and spread.

  4. In N Out is good stuff, but over here we have Five Guys and Whataburger, and there’s always Krystal’s to boot, chili cheese pups, anyone? OH, and DON’T FORGET Steak and Shake!!

Almost the end of my shift, *COUGH*, *WHEEZE!*. BEEER, I NEED A BEER!!

  5. Steak and Shake is not bad.

I have also tried Whataburger. Not bad, either. Similar to an old school A&W.

Still go with the In-N-Out 3×3 (Secret Menu), though.

Also, I am tired of shoveling snow.

Gets old. Just like Phildo’s weak ass threats.

    Bored and hungry!

  6. Poor ol’ Piers. He just ‘couldn’t connect’. Oh, snap!

Hmmm… What’s wrong with Burger King? Whopper, no ketchup, extra pickles, extra onion.

  7. For those who have been asking, Sparks just sent me an email and said he’s fine – that he’s still a little loopy from the meds, but he’ll be back on the blog tomorrow.

  8. Shit hot! Now I can have a scotch in celebration. Sparks: you riding the sick book? If you are, good. You earned it. Enjoy the sponge baths.

  9. I saw an old, drunk dude get tossed out of a bar last night and stumble around in the street yelling at everyone and no one all at the same time.

I thought of Paul (of the Ballsack).
