Walking Tall

The folks at HooplaHa wanted you to see this video of wounded warriors learning to walk again. I’ve been privileged to meet some of these fine folks during my trips to Walter Reed, and I wish you could. They don’t complain about their injuries, they only see the future before them and accept the challenges they’ve been given. I’m proud to call them my brothers and sisters.

  1. These wounded warriors are just awe inspiring. We as a nation owe them so much, and there they are still giving of themselves in their fight to not just survive their injuries but to inspire others and rebuild their lives.
It would be so easy to just give up… but they don’t!

  2. These are amazing people, facing difficult odds with courage and optimism. A testament to their character and courageous nature.

These people are who our culture should be most aware of, and most appreciative of as opposed to the reprobates populating celebrity status in what constitutes popular culture in the US today.

  3. God Bless these men and women and our great country… for without their deeds we as a nation wouild be no more!

  4. Jeeze! Seeing these warriors leaves me humbled, every time.

    My career was soooo less-than-stellar.

  5. Courage, character and integrity. Men and women of honor. God bless them all.

    Thanks for this Jonn.

  6. Dang. Watched this on my work computer. Got all teared up. had to turn it off…NSFW!!!!!!….cause people are going to see you all teary eye’d.

  7. I give them FIVE STARS for courage. There’s more I’d like to say but I’m too humbled by their feats and individual will to carry on. Plus my tears are… never mind.

  8. The PT people have to watch them closely for pushing too hard too fast. As in falling down exhausted. Joe
