Since the tune I discussed earlier today was somewhat . . . less than happy, I thought I’d post this. Call it “balancing things out”.

Maybe it’s just me. But if there’s a happier rock-n-roll tune out there, I don’t know what that is.

    1. (chuckling) Nah. Just wanted to “even things out”. The first one seems to have brought people down.

      Or maybe put them to sleep. (smile)

  6. My favorite song from my favorite band. To top it off, my four year old and my two year old rock out to this. Nothing says happy like a two year old singing at the top of her lungs “mommy’s all right, daddy’s all right”! Just makes my day.

  12. Hondo, just because we are friends, or are at least alleged to be, I actually clicked on this one. I just don’t get it. At all.

    But what would I know. The only rock band I ever pretended to follow was the Dave Clark 5. And only because Michael Smith was a classically trained pianist who practiced 8 hours a day. Was always more into Herb Alpert, the Four Tops, or Merle Haggard.

    But unlike so many of those “tolerant” other folks, I enjoy watching others enjoying stuff which I don’t particularly like. Whatever floats yer boat is fine with me.

  13. @13 OWB at least it isn’t “Modern Country”. You know they say country music touches your heart. The only problem I have is that it has to go through my f@cking ears to get there!

  16. Well, Sparks, I am so old school that I don’t really consider anything that plugs into an electrical outlet a musical instrument. And I seriously don’t appreciate having to wear earplugs when attending something called a concert. (Or a movie, for that matter.)

    Had a longstanding argument with a friend some years ago. She insisted that pianos were “keyboards.” I always told her that pianos have keyboards, but “keyboards” are what modern bands use instead of pianos.

  18. @18: Well, GT, I can’t fault your entry, here. I have seen the boys live a few times and it was always a good show.

  19. I was in High School when this vinyl came out. I played it until it about wore out. One of the best Live Albums ever.

    Thanks for posting this. I never knew there was video of this concert and it sure does bring back memories.
