I agree with the sentiment, time to stop engaging in conflicts where the ROEs get people killed and the disengagement from the conflict just returns the hostile foreign nation to its’ pre-invasion sh1thole status…
in 2005 Charlie Daniels came to our middle of nowhere FOB to entertain us, almost no one else did (kudos to Dean Cain for showing up and signing autographs). His tour bus has 278th Cav stickers all over it and he has a Stetson given to him by members of the regiment. He’s the best!
