@4, A felon in possession of a firearm is a federal charge and can also states have laws covering it. We often call the ATF to get them to charge as the federal system has no probation or parole.

please look into this guy, claims ranger, seal and green beret. Started as a Seal he claims then worked his way into the Green Berets and topped off his lively career with a 4 years in the rangers.
