The Irony of John Kerry.

Since the President canceled his trip to Aisa, he has send John Kerry in his place to assure that the United States will not support for Asia against pressure from China.

Acknowledging that Obama is missing opportunities for direct diplomacy with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin and others attending a series of international trade and cooperation meetings, Kerry was at pains to tell Asian leaders that they should not read too much into the absence.

You mean like sending VVFP/VFP’s Poster child one why we needed to leave Vietnam and never come back? Does anyone really think that the leaders believe this promise considering how was handled Vietnam and how we are handling Afghanistan?

  1. Jawn Fraud sKerry, “Know that we have your backs, pay no attention to us running for the exits in Afghanistan. Pay no attention to what we did in Vietnam. Besides, the Preezy had a round of 18 scheduled at Andrews this weekend”.

  2. Bad move Brack, you would have done better to send Jay Leno instead, he’s better at making jokes, get real Mr. Obama.

  3. I saw something this morning about China stepping in to take the lead at this meeting, since the US President (bodaprez) won’t be there.

On another note, the House voted unanimously for backpay for furloughed Federal workers. http://www.breakingnews.com/item/ahZzfmJyZWFraW5nbmV3cy13d3ctaHJkcg0LEgRTZWVkGMPurhUM/2013/10/05/house-voted-407-0-to-pass-bill-guaranteeing-furlou
So if that is blocked in the Senate, I will definitely blame it on Harry Reid, the patron saint of hookers everywhere. I wonder if he knows that when a man has to pay women to pay attention to him, it’s a statement about how completely pathetic he is.

  4. @ Ex-PH2….I hate to break this to you, but ALL men (less those switch hitters) pay women to pay attention to them. Some just call it marriage. 😉

  5. I’m putting this in this thread because the person who should be in the Asia-Pacific Economic meeting, instead sent an idiot and lying shit in his place. (There must be a reason that God lets these things happen, but I digress.) That the maroon in charge chose to blow off this conference speaks volumes about his delusions in regard to what his relationship is, not just to the USA, but also to the global financial environment.

The US dollar is the base for trade relations everywhere, even with China and Russia. As much as China would like to be the cock of the rock in this, the Chinese government still refuses to devalue the yuan for the purpose of creating more favorable exchange rates for correspondent trading nations. The euro is gaining favor as a medium of trade. Iran, for example, will not take payment in USD, but demands euros.

To ignore this fact is the same thing as spitting into the wind or irritating a skunk. You really don’t want to do either of those, unless you have another agenda. I know that some of you think there is another agenda going on, but as was pointed out in the article about what will happen if the US defaults on its debt, the possibility of the entire global finance community collapsing is extremely real. It’s less likely that there is any agenda at work other than feeding an inflated ego.

To blow off an important meeting like this economic conference just to piss off people at home is extremely dimwitted as well as delusional. Especially with the communication system in place now, which was not available 20 years ago, there’s no reason to stay away from this conference. This kind of meeting is where international relationships are formed. To ignore the important of this, and to send a jackass in your place is a way of thumbing your nose at people you might very well need as back-up some day.

When I posted yesterday some info about a mass quantity of gold shares (8,000 = 800,000 oz/gold) being dumped on the gold CMEX when there was no liquidity in the market, the question was who has that kind of volume to sell? The speculation now is that the unknown seller is doing this in response to the Feds pursuing and punishing large banks on the excuse that they are manipulating the markets, and in particular Chase Bank, for doing what the administration asked Chase to do in 2009, which was buy out Bear Stearns when it collapsed.

Do you understand this conflict I’ve laid out here? I want to be clear about it.

The people who can manipulate finances like this are not politicians. (And don’t do that Bilderberg shit. This goes deeper, I just don’t know how far.) They want a stable economic climate and will do whatever is necessary to get it, and will work to kick out someone who gets in the way of that.

While I’m sure that the consumption of mass quantities of alcohol has been underway for more than a few days in WDC, the idea that it’s all locked up in your favor is extremely naive.

I will say here that sometime between the 10th and the 18th of October, if the gridlock in Congress is not resolved (which is being blamed by donkeys on the GOP) because the Democrats and Reid refuse to consider anything at all except what they want, this illusion of being the chosen one, the big mahaff, the big twink in charge, may collapse like a pricked balloon. It might not be right away, but I believe it will collapse.

This isn’t about being stupid or inept, or unable to make a decision without your Cliff’s Notes. It’s about picking the wrong time and place to be an arrogant ass. It’s appropriate if you’re GEN Patton yelling at Field Marshall Rommel “Rommel, you son of a bitch! I read your book! Get out of your tank!”

It is NOT appropriate here or now.
