Back in the Saddle

Howdy folks.  If some of you were wondering where I was, well that’s a long story that involves crappy apartment complexes, living in a college town and a gold fish named steve.  The good news is that I’m back, and you guys can expect over the weekend that I’ll tell you all about it.

I want to give a special note of thanks to Jonn.  Even though I didn’t take him up on the offer, the idea of a bed and a shower were much appreciated.  For the rest of you, hold on to your seats, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride.

On one more thing. . . Now that College football is starting up I thought I’d throw this out there for ya.

  1. Off topic Doc, What do you know about that county down south where the Judge was arrested? Is that a red or blue county? News reports do not give the political affiliation of the judge, and that usually means Democrat. What with the county clerk embezzling, a crooked judge and a murdered sheriff that smacks of single party rule.

  2. Welcome back Doc, been missing your postings. Joe PS this story should be inresting and looking forward to the telling. Joe

  3. Two teams that will eventually be crushed by the 5th place SEC team.

    Just saying…..

    Welcome back.

  4. Good to see you. We’ll see abut Texas. I usually root for Texas unless they’re playing someone I like better (Washington, Texas A&M, or anyone else who strikes my fancy).

  5. Welcome back doc — as for Texas — we’ll chat after the game! Just glad that football is back!

    Hook ’em!

  6. Looking forward to reading about “Doc Bailey’s Excellent Adventure”, amigo. Welcome back.

  7. does it really matter what WV or texas do? the only game that matters is LSU v Bama. Bama wins, they get crowned national champs again, LSU wins and Bama gets a rematch! Screw the BCS, Nick Saaban, and Bama! go LSU!!!!

  8. Hey Doc. First, welcome back. Second, the next time someone offers you a shower, consider that it might not be generosity or kindness as much as it is need! Now, get crackin’.

  9. Thanks John, It was strange that no party affiliation was mentioned in any of the news items. I guess single party rule corrupts eventually. Inbreeding and all that.
