Ha ha that’s some funny stuff! Looks like he was most effective with the snow shovel…must be from the north
Okay…what the hell was that video about? My first thought is “you’ll shoot your eye out kid:D”. So I guess the point for me is get rid of the Glock I keep by my bed…and throw a half dozen garden shovels under the bed. I hope this was a tongue in cheek video. From the bed though I think I could harm an armed intruder. That is after I mess up and plow the wife in the head trying to throw it.

I hear that due to the poor quality of the latest British built shovels the SAS and Pathfinders have been issued with Canadian made secateurs instead.
The footwork needs a bit of work. I know that they taught you that in the Navy, Chief! If you are going to dazzle ’em with BS, some clever moves add to the authenticity of it all.

I believe that someone else was actually throwing the shovels. MCPO is not shown in the video doing the actual throwing, and everyone knows that by the time retirement age has been reached, Chiefs have permanently curled index fingers from having held coffee mugs twelve to fourteen hours per day.

My shovel is a Colt 1911 A1. I can’t throw it for shi*. But it is still a potent piece of garden equipment. As in “He suffered a tragic gardening accident”.

1:17 in the video it looks like a bird was thrown in there. I couldn’t hear it but I loved the visuals it made.
