I was shocked when I went into the “Tea Party = Klan” thread to see that some DUers were somewhat defending the Tea Party.
VOV–remember, these are the same douchetools who have no problem dropping $3-4K on a dog to extend its life a few months, but have a HUGE issue with paying $300-400/month for their own health insurance, or want someone else to pay for it.
The ones defending the Tea Party seem to be low-post count members who have probably been reported for infiltration (you think I’m joking, but I’m not) and will be tombstoned or sanctioned. Bet on it. Others who are showing examples of exceptions are also being marginalized. In all, like you, I’m simply surprised anyone would even try to defend the Tea Party over there, but ultimately, it’s a fart in a whirlwind.
I don’t judge people for trying to save their pets. Sorry I am kinda weird like that, but yeah I have a problem with their forced beneficence on all other issues.
@8 – It’s alright, Sparky. Once they realize they’re also going to be burdened with paying for healthcare, they’ll soon realize it isn’t so free. Financing Fido’s hip replacement surgery or wedding will have to wait.
