Marine deserter hides out in woman’s body

The Daily Mail has the story of poor Elizabeth/Donald Tremblay who deserted from the Marine Corps because she/he “couldn’t take it anymore and he fled to his home state of Maine” 31 years ago. Here’s the link, but don’t click it unless you think you can live with the image for the rest of your life. Don’t say I didn’t warn you, dickweed.

Now, even though much has changed in the past 31 years since Donald left the military- most notably her sex change- but that [doesn’t] mean that the charges have been dropped.

She was already arrested once for the charge four months ago and she was forced to spend two-and-a-half days in jail, but she is still awaiting the official verdict from the Marines Corps.

‘The only thing they have on me is desertion. Other than that, I was a good Marine. I didn’t get in trouble or anything,’ Elizabeth told local paper Lewiston-Auburn Sun Journal.

Elizabeth, 57, says that it is not so much the fact that the Marine Corps came calling after her because she went absent without leave, but the timing of it all.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure they don’t want it back. Mail it it’s discharge and forget it ever happened.

  4. NHSparky: for shame, sir. Mr. Beeblebrox spells his first name with a “ph” – not an “f”.

RIP, Mr. Adams. Gone far too soon.

  5. Yeah, I looked…I had to look…I always have to fucking look…

I hate myself a little right now. Why don’t the “pretty guys” switch? What? Don’t judge me!

  6. Looked kinda like the Buffalo Bob. All I could hear was “Goodbye Horses” and the Marine Corps hymn.

  8. Not to worry, Jonn, USMCRet8 just had a momentary memory loss. He knows you’re 24/7 dick. Banned in 5…4…3

  9. “After completing boot camp at a base in California and facing a forced move to North Carolina, Tremblay couldn’t take it anymore and he fled to his home state of Maine, effectively becoming a deserter even though he told his officer where he was headed.”

Completed boot camp and ‘couldn take it anymore.’
I think the hard part was over…

    ‘forced move to North Carolina’
You mean transferred to your first duty station? The recruiter never mentioned that?

‘becoming a deserter even though he told his officer where he was headed.’
If it wasn’t ok, he would have been arrested before he left boot camp. Let’s find ‘his officer’ and prosecute him.

Every time I’ve think we’ve heard from the lamest reporter of all time, another one comes along…

  10. Okay, here is one of the original feel good versions of the story.

Reading between the lines, it looks like he rocked out, aka failed, of teletype repir school. Being the resident comm puke, and veteran of three seperate times through Marine Corps Communications Electronics School (MCCES), depending on how far along in school you were at the point of failing, you may move from A Company (Maintenance School) to B Company (Operators School). If no seats are available in field radio operator course, comm center operator course, or even field wireman class, you would probably end up in either Motor Transport or Heavy Equipment occupatinal fields. Just because you fail out of a course, that does not negate your contract.
