I’m wondering if the date may be off by a year. 2-1 INF was part of 3-2 SBCT who was in Mosul from OCT 04-OCT 05. RIP/TOA with their successor 1-25 SBCT was complete by the 19th and 3-2 was enroute home. I just don’t remember any 3-2 SBCT battalions still in Mosul at that point.
