As Jonn noted below our part of WV got slammed with over 2 feet of snow. Power has been out for over a week thus far, and we just got our internet back last evening. Being one of them ‘prepper’ types we haven’t missed a beat. Many trees down and roads impassable for a day or two.
Did I mention that we had no internet for a WEEK? The Wife and I had to actually talk to each other. etc.
Friends and neighbors had the road passable before the state could get here.
None of this fits here at TAH save this bit. Went to vote and passed a couple of NG guys in uniform coming out. Said hey and asked if they were having fun yet. Also got a chuckle when I commented that their HUMVEE would been more impressive with MA-Deuce in the turret.
These guys are out there and it makes me proud to know that.

A whole week without internet? I don’t think my wife would make it through without her facebook games fix.
On a side note, Nik, I am not cyber stalking you. It is a slow work day.
No worries. Slow here too. About to bust out my laptop and get some gaming in.
Yeah, I’m just holding down the fort so the guys that didn’t get to vote yet could go do so. Don’t have my laptop here, but Angry Birds on my cel phone is getting a workout.

@1. It’s not really Zero. It’s his wife. She had to put him out of her misery after 36 hours together. He didn’t like the way she overstuffed the kitchen garbage can, stacked the dishwasher, or missed some lint on the rug.

OWB: Oh yes I do! I drew from my own experience which, I’ve learned, strangely repeats itself in similar forms in homes all over this country.
