RU Rob names his “Douche of the Week“, Mildred Muhammad, the estranged ex-wife of the famed DC Sniper who is currently serving his sentence in a grave in Virginia somewhere at tax payers’ expense. Apparently, while on her book tour, Mildred is telling the audiences that poor John suffered from PTS related to his military service. Yeah, he was a mechanic and never heard a shot fired in anger. So unless he caught the PTS from his drill sergeant or something, it’s not very likely. (By the way, for the record, I know that PTS isn’t contagious, but some of these clowns act like it is.)
The media is always happy to trot the fact that he was an “expert” rifleman trained by the Army, and although the military does create good marksmen, there are also teenagers on biathlon teams who’ve never spent a day in the military. Mostly they train themselves to be good marksmen. You know, like John Malvo did, Muhammad’s teenage accomplice in the series of slayings. Malvo participated in some of those killings.

That out of the way, what the HELL is wrong with out planet where the wife of a fuckwad serial killer, who absolutely terrorized a city, doing getting any kinda deal, much less a lucrative book deal?
Besides, you know she didn't build that (yah, I went there). She didn't write that shit. She told her story to a ghost writer who took her moronic ramblings and put them in a semi-cohesive format.
Most of you probably remember that Ms. Muhammad was the reason for the whole killing spree in the first place. John planned on shooting her somewhere along the way and was using the other killings to cover up his real motive. I’m not saying the murders were her fault, but that’s probably why she wrote a book.

She forgot to mention his manipulation of a kid into being an accomplice in his murderous spree. I will always mourn the loss of life, in his case I’ll make an exception!

What really chaps my ass is when they refer to everyone that uses a rifle as a “sniper” First off, the asshole made the kid do the shootings, so his training wasn’t a factor. secondly they all were pretty close ranges. They aren’t “snipers” they are “gunmen”.

@14: To me, “Sniper” is a designation only given to those in the military who have actually gone through the course and earned the name. I stick to the term “shooter” for people like them.
I noticed in the comments over at RU that Mildred herself supposedly answered. She is saying that her remarks were edited and that she never claimed PTSD was the reason behind what he did. Right now, Rob is verifying her identity. I’m waiting to see what happens.
