  1. I wanted to post this, I really did, but I couldn’t bring myself to post a link to that abortion run by that ignorant backstabbing, pussy, Rieckhoff-leg-humper, Tobias Naegele.

But, congratulations, StrifeFO and the others at TDB.

  2. i do believe it was a “hit piece” because it called into question the integrity the journalistic integrity of the fine writers of the Duffel Blog.

  3. TDB sits on the same server we’re on (I hooked them up with my code monkey hippie chick when they had problems last month) So traffic shouldn’t be a problem.

  4. @5: Or, is life imitating art? I read TDB and there is enough in each story to give it the aire of reality, but just enough. That’s why I really like reading it, because sometimes, it is closer to the truth than some might think.

  5. @4, Jonn, we have so many firewall issues the error could have been on my end…no issue now.

The funniest part is when peeps think the articles are real. The comments add real hysteria at times.

  6. It’s has just enough details in the stories for you to WANT them to be true. Things like promotions to be based on merit, Mattis coming back from retirement to unfuck the Marine Corps as Commandant. CO of USS Haditha sinks Chinese gunboat

  7. Just went & bookmarked the site. Took a look. This is the military version of The Onion. Too funny.

  8. The Army Times is probably just pissed because everyone thinks they’re a joke too, and now they have competition. This would be like National Geographic getting butt-hurt at Mad Magazine and taking out an article on them. Must have been some senior leadership readers who got fooled…

Separate note, L’ingMAO at the Tap Out article. A guy actually called them over the story? Bet he fit the story profile to a ‘T’.

  9. God, just saw this long rant from a friend on FB about the article they wrote about military spouses getting rank. At first I had no idea what all her drama was about. After going back and forth about military members not having to salute spouses, she finally posted a link to the article in question (on the duffleblog), I had to assure her that the entire site is a joke, a military equivalent to The Onion. I can’t wait until I get home, I’m going to get a full page screen shot of that whole argument.
