1,000,000 visitors to TAH this year (per Get Clicky)

Last week I noted to Jonn that we were coming up on this number, and I wanted to thank him.  He made it VERY clear that all thanks is to our commenters, both the trolls and the hardcore regulars.  I agree.

This is a pretty big moment.  We actually hit 1 million for 2012 earlier this morning, but I didn’t catch it. 

I can’t thank Jonn and all of you enough.  I don’t get paid from blogging here, and Jonn isn’t exactly retiring on it either.  We do it for the fun of exorcising our demons, and to try to protect the brother and sisterhood we were fortunate enough to join when we enlisted. 

A simple thanks isn’t enough, but it is the best I can do.

  6. I wish I knew how to be that exact, but I don’t. Looks like someone hit around 2330 ish last night and that was the 1 millionth.

    Honest to goodness! I got there “early” and waited for over an hour before I got lunch!? Fox10 news said they ran out of chicken by mid afternoon. First Amendment rules!!!

  11. What the hell is bounce rate? If it’s what I think it is, then you guys are fucked. Dalton can’t fix you like he did the Double Deuce, because Swayze is dead.

  12. My understanding is that it is the one post wonders. Folks that follow a link here and then don’t click any other links. It happens more often I think when we don’t use the -More- tag thing. It essentially means whoever it is is either only reading one page (maybe the main page) or ended up here on a google search and immediately left.

    The average actions thing is a good number, and the average time per visit at 5 minutes is pretty darned high.

  14. I will await the word from anyone who can reference the thread and comment that appeared about 2:30 a.m. today. I looked and couldn’t find one but I found a couple from August 2. Hey, there’s $20 worth of traditional, God-fearing, closed-on-Sundays chicken at stake here!

  15. I think we’re actually closing in on our fourth millionth. I lost count when we changed servers last year, but we were close to two million then.

    Yeah, I’ll admit love for Blanka – but I read her book and found out we have similar taste in women.

  24. I gotta say way to go guys, I have been coming here for a while and I really like being a part of this happy community. You guys have even written to me when I was having a rough time. I am glad that my OCD clicky clicks have helped.
