Mail from Madison Rising

We’ve put up some of the music from pro-troops band Madison Rising before, so I was a little shocked when I opened up our email today and found an email from Becky Bray, the wife of lead singer, David Bray, asking us to post some links for them on TAH. She mentioned that Dave Bray was a Navy Corpsman with the 2/2 Marines, so that alone ought to get him a few more fans.

I noticed at their website, they have a couple of tracks that are right up this crowd’s alley. “The Right to Bear” and “Where Was The Media Then”.

But here are the vids she sent us – turn up your speakers (unless you’re at work) they rock pretty hard;

There’s a tissue alert for “Walking Through That Door”

This has got to be the best version of the Star Spangled Banner I’ve ever heard, including the Hendrix version;

Thanks, Becky and Dave.

  1. I just wanted to say thanks for passing along our music and message! We just finished recording 2 more songs that I’m sure you will love! -D

  2. Great tunes! The Star Spangled Banner was just as you suggested Jonn! Keep up the great work Dave & band!

  3. I’m going to forget you said that about Jimi (moment of silence for reverence), Jonn. (No offense, Mr. Bray.)

    That said, excellent tunes, and thank you!

  4. I’m more the classical music type, but my kids love this. I sent the album to my son a couple of months ago, he’s currently in Air Force tech school at Sheppard. He and his friends work out to it. I’ll be sure to get the new album as soon as it’s available.

    Thanks for making music with a positive message about our country and our troops!

  5. WOW … Becky and Dave. Great music and positive messaging … BRAVO ZULU.

  6. Sorry about the double post….didn’t look like it posted…I’ll smoke myself for it

  7. Linked to the Star Spangled Banner a while back from The Glen Beck Show. One of the best renditions I’ve ever seen.

  8. can you just “show up” at the Romney appearances and start playing and maybe then he will get his chin up and see this is a younger America and they need the same patriotism their forefathers had. God love you. Lord knows I am 63 and I love how you have put it all into words and the perfect edge music. Love you to bits Dave and thanks for you service. Keep the music coming guys.
