For any of you folks out there who are interested, the Golden Knights are going to begin selection soon for some new members of their parachute team;

Damn I wish I was still in sometimes. I had a chance to join the Silver Wings at Benning, but I don’t know if I could have ever stood a chance at a Knights tryout. I’ve heard stories from buddies who tried out, and it’s an ass kicker for the skydiving set.
Even at my peak (hah!), I wouldn’t have tried. The closest I ever came to skydiving was rapelling. Big difference.
Try outs for proof you’ve lost your mind??? Let’s see, strap an over sized hankie to your butt and jump out of a perfectly air worthy aircraft. Hmmm…NOT! And they say Marines are dumb!?
If you make it, and you are not a “T.C.”…you get to trade in one color beret for another… unless you are in Division.
