364 Days and Counting. The Beginning of the End?

Just a reminder that yesterday marked a milestone of sorts.

The Mayan calendar ends on December 21, 2112. And there is that Galactic Alignment thing.

Also by this time next year we’ll either have a new CinC  on line or maybe be wishing the Mayans were right?

Oh yeah,  December 21 is Jane Fonda’s birthday as well.

NOW cue the Twilight Zone intro…

Actually, we won’t have a new CinC until Jan 20, 2013 at the earliest.

Sigh… the long-count calendar is just like ours, in a way. The world does not end on 31Dec, it just turns over into the next year. The same with the Mayan.

Either that or this is going to be one HELL of a party year!
